Ursula and Massimo are kind, interesting and generous people who let us take care of their big furry family. Our time in Rome went fast and we didn't really have a single boring moment while there. The babies :) What can be said... sweet loving Kareem, innocent cute Jameel, beautiful gorgeous Brownie, daft sweet Idefix, strong playful Aladin and their loving mother Warda. It was great to be surrounded with these affectionate and frisky Salukis. They are a bit boisterous sure, but in a good-natured way and will calm down quickly once you give them a bit of attention. They are all very special and dear to us like they are to Ursula and Massimo. We will miss them, no question!

Lisa and Story are prime examples of why I adore the Trusted Housesitters community so much. From our first FaceTime conversation through the final moments of the sit, interacting with Lisa was an absolute joy. Her home in Detroit was a dream and I feel incredibly grateful to have spent a week there. The natural light, the decor, the kitchen, the overall vibes! Let's just say the space gave me plenty of inspiration for my next home. But, hands down the best part of this sit was sweet, sweet Story. To say I immediately fell in love with her is almost an understatement. She's the perfect canine companion; an absolute angel and so easy to care for. We enjoyed frequent walks throughout Midtown and the Wayne State campus... and even more frequent lounging sessions on the couch. I was truly sad to leave her. To any potential sitters reading this review, I can't recommend Story and Lisa enough. If you have a chance to get to know them, don't miss the opportunity. There are so many phenomenal dogs and humans on this platform and I don't like to play favorites, but this is an exception. I'm completely comfortable designating this as my All Time #1 Favorite Sit and I'm holding out hope that our schedules will align again in the future!
Alex and Apple have a wonderful family. We enjoyed spending time with them before and after the sit. It was a delight going on different walks every day with their loveable dog, Lupin, as our trusty guide. The chickens appreciated the greens we gave them and rewarded us daily with different colored eggs. Mitzi the cat seemed happy to sleep away her days in the bedroom when not out exploring the huge backyard. The blueberries and strawberries in the garden were just beginning to ripen during our stay. Many flowers were in bloom and lemons filled the tree. Matt and I were thrilled to be invited back for a future sit in this spacious home, with an amazing view, and awesome animals.
Caring for Vinny was a pleasure. He is a beauty! He was immediately friendly, snuggled on my lap and in bed at night. Michelle and Owen have a lovely, comfortable apartment in the charming Jamaica Plain neighborhead. Parking was easy on the nearby School Street. Access to the Orange T Line was close making exploring the City easy as well. A five star sit.
