Douglas and Alannah were the perfect housesitters. They were kind and professional and went above and beyond housesitting: Douglas did many jobs and extra work and clearly had a natural affinity with animals and Alannah is warm and friendly and very caring, and despite receiving some very bad family news, they showed immense strength of character by seeing out their commitment to the house sit. The animals looked very healthy, happy and clean when I returned. And the house was spotless. I cannot recommend them more highly!
Young was the coolest house/pet sitter; perfect in every way. I was in Antarctica for two weeks, and returned today to 3 perfectly content, happy, well loved, and well cared for dogs, and an African Grey parrot who made a new friend for life. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am, and how blessed I was, to have found such a wonderful and highly competent woman tend to my house and pets, and even manage all of this during a Seattle snowstorm in freezing temperatures. Young is the “best of the rest.”
Sitting for Luna was an absolute joy. She is the most lovable pet ever. She loves the company and will let you know it. She will bring you her toys when she wants to play and you will have so much fun with her. Other than that she likes to chill in the house in her favorite spots. Taking care of the fish is really straightforward and is quite relaxing to look at them swim in the pond which is adjacent to the guest bedroom. As far as the house goes is super comfortable and spacious with a lovely view. We really enjoyed ourselves in the balcony, watching a movie, cooking o just having a cup of wine while listening to music. The workspace is great and you have a guest bedroom with en-suite bathroom to sleep in which is superb! Is very close to downtown San Miguel which is about 4k you can grab an Uber o drive in if you have a car. We did not mind to walk into town. Nory and Harvey were always responsive and we will definitely sit for Luna again. We miss her already.
