Mike and Amanda were incredible hosts making us feel SO at home, it felt like we were helping family. Their home is beyond comfortable and clean with everything we needed including a grocery store just around the corner. They introduced to lovely neighbours who we went to the local quiz night with every week, which really added to the experience. The community connection was a real highlight aside from the dogs of course. Cleo, Thea and Toby were so well behaved and truly lovely dogs! We loved beach walks with Thea and Toby as Cleo was more comfortable with casual walks around the neighbourhood. They were great company and so good with our boys competed for cuddles at every opportunity. The area is full of historic castles and stunning nature. We left with great memories and good friends so it’s no surprises we highly recommend this sit (and hope to return again if the stars align)! Michelle and her pets very warmly welcomed me. Michelle is a warm person, and we immediately had a click about world issues and other stuff. Both, Molly and TJ are the sweetest and listen very well to their commandos. They behave so well and are very cute and quiet dogs. They are both keen on getting cuddles and you could pet them all day, they won’t mind. Trixie mostly minds her own business, and it takes a while before she trusts you and accepts your cuddles. The 3 of them are truly a cool bunch and I had an amazing time with them. The tortoises need very low maintenance. If you make sure they have water and their fresh greens they are perfectly happy. Michelle lives in a typical Spanish townhouse that looks immaculate and is well equipped. The guest room is lovely, and Michelle even foresees space in drawers and closets for your clothes. Although you are in a small village, it’s however very important that you close the doors and the gate very carefully with the key each time you leave the property, Michelle will tell you the reason. I had a great stay at Michelle’s place, and I can recommend it.
We really enjoyed taking care of Daria and Danko. They are super cute with different and quirky personalities. The apartment is central and comfortable. Highly recommend!
Sitting Carole the cat for Katy was a great experience! My partner Wayne and I were lucky enough to spend a whole week with Carole who is a real sweetheart of a cat. She's given us a warm welcome on our arrival day and it was easy to make friends with her. Carole is very independent and doing her own thing most of the day (either roaming around or sleeping - typical cat things, haha) but you can be sure she shows up for breakfast and dinner and many times in between to demand either cuddles or 'dreamies', her favourite snack, haha! To sum this up: Carole is adorable, lovely and easy to take care of - the dream of every house sitter. Katy was a great host, very welcoming and made sure we felt at ease during our stay. Communication before and during the house sit was just perfect and she always responded timely should we have a question or anything. Katy's place is beautiful, very spacious and bright, nice furniture and decorations on the wall, and there are all amenities you could ask for (incl. reliable wifi, a well equipped kitchen, a washing machine, TV, a very comfortable bed etc.), and there is a beautiful little backyard that was the perfect space to enjoy the nice September weather during our stay. Her apartment is located in a beautiful location in London with shops, restaurants and public transport close by, as well as the amazing Alexandra Palace (and park) which is a beautiful place to visit on a sunny day. All in all, superb house sit with an amazing cat for an awesome lady. Highly recommended!! Thanks so much for everything, Katy!! We're always happy to return should we still (or again) be in London next time you're going on vacations. Take care and all the best for you and Carole!! :)
Alana is fantastic and went above and beyond, providing a super detailed guide before the sit and giving a warm welcome and tour around her home. Especially handy was knowing the different quirks of the home and pets. Her communication was on point throughout, making everything easy breezy. She is well stocked up with everything you might need for pet and house care. The location is spot-on, with bushwalks and shops nearby. Daisy and Harvey are beautiful groodles inside and out. Such well-behaved, lovely natured dogs! Daily walks were a pleasure and tons of pats were highlights. Freckles and Spike are also a breeze to care for. They are great company, always nearby, and once they warm up lots of snuggles and pats were had!
