We had an enjoyable stay at Eds, the dogs were friendly and enjoyed a walk, the cat is shy and we only saw her once. Ed explained the requirements well on our arrival and the house is clean and tidy and comfortable. There is plenty to do in the local area with lots of national parks close by.
Oren and Nicole's house is absolutely beautiful and very clean. It is so peaceful. Their dog Albert and cat Jacques are a pure joy to be around. They both have big personalities and are super friendly and loving. Albert takes a little time to get used to you and then he is a huge baby who slept next to me nearly every night. Jacques was immediately so sociable and wanted to be held like a baby! Oren and Nicole are really kind people who went out of their way to make sure I had a lovely time including leaving me amazing snacks! Thank you!
We arrived to sit for Steve and Sally just as Andalusia was closing all its borders and travel was restricted due to COVID. They were unable to travel and so were we. Steve and Sally have been so hospitable, allowing us to stay at theirs and making sure we were safe. The dogs are great and we have had some time with them and been on some short walks. Their home is in the mountains and is in beautiful surroundings. There is everything you need for a great stay with three lovely dogs and 5 cheeky chickens.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time as guardians for Château les arcis. The property is stunning, set in glorious French countryside and instantly embraces you with its gracious charm. Alice is equally charming with her kind patience and ‘silver lining’ attitude to any problems that arose. We feel very fortunate to have had this amazing experience.
I spent a magical weekend at Eimear's home with Benji and Holly, who are simply incredible. I enjoyed their company every minute. We went to cafes, and the beach, for runs, and walks to explore the locality - they happily followed me wherever I went and did their best to keep me laughing :) Benji instantly stole my heart with his playful nature, his love for ball games, and the way he snuggled up when I sat on the couch. And it was quite amusing to watch him watch television. Holly is an elegant lady, graceful in her movements, but also appreciates a good cuddle. Eimear's house is very cosy, clean, and conveniently located close to everything - shops and cafes, a big Lidl supermarket (just a 5-minute walk away), the beach, a cycling track, and the DART station (a 3-minute walk) Eimear herself is enchanting! We met a bit early, and I knew it was a match at first sight! I wholeheartedly recommend this house sit, not just because Portmarnock and Malahide are the best parts of North Dublin, but because you're guaranteed a lovely furry company. Thank you for a charming weekend. It filled me with zen and tranquillity. <3
Ben and Sina are wonderful homeowners. They have the concerns of sitters foremost in their minds. They were sympathetic and gracious when we had a plumbing issue to deal with. Their home is comfortable and not far from the beaches and downtown Pensacola. Then there's Meeko and Sitka -- such sweet pups! Sitka is hilarious and enjoyed Ken's daily runs. Meeko is a bit more stoic and due to issues with his feet, we had to be careful not to walk him too much or play too much fetch. So we just piled on with low-key one-on-one time and full body hugs. Such a good boy! We would love to sit for them again.
