I had the opportunity to house sit for Mark recently and had a really good experience. He is a great communicator, a welcoming host, a responsible homeowner and it is clear to see that he loves his pets very much and takes great care of them - their well-being is important to him! Mark and I talked ahead of the sit via Skype and Whatsapp so I knew what to expect when I arrived. He met me at the station (although it is easy to walk everywhere in Kandersteg!) I met the pets and he talked me through their daily routines and special requirements - all very easy to understand and the notes he provides are clear and concise too which certainly makes the house and pet sitter's job easier! Pickles and Pepper and Daika the cat are dear pets - easy to care for, and easy to love. Pickles as an older dog is a slow walker but still manages long distances daily. Pepper is young at heart and loves to frolic and roll in the grass. Both dogs draw admiration from other walkers so I was never short of people to talk to along the way. The dogs also travel well in the gondolas/cableways up to the mountain walks, so I had the pleasure of going up both sides of the valley and was rewarded with stunning views. The house is beautiful and so well cared for - I had a spacious and comfortable room and felt very welcomed! Thank you Mark - I really enjoyed my time in Kandersteg and would happily return if and when circumstances permit. I highly recommend this sit to all!
Our experience pet-sitting K-Blue was nothing short of fantastic. K-Blue is a delightful companion with a loving and playful personality that instantly won our hearts. One of the standout qualities of K-Blue is his love for companionship. He doesn't like to be alone and thrives in the company of people. It was heartwarming to see how much he enjoyed having us around, and we were more than happy to keep him company. During our walks, K-Blue displayed exceptional leash manners. He didn't pull on the leash and, impressively, stopped and sat whenever another dog was in the vicinity. His respectful behavior toward other dogs made our outings peaceful and enjoyable. K-Blue's obedience was remarkable. He followed commands with precision, which made interacting with him a breeze. His willingness to learn and respond to instructions showed his intelligence and eagerness to please. K-Blue's playful personality added a layer of joy to our time together. He was always up for a game in the yard. and enjoys hair brushing. Overall, pet-sitting K-Blue was an absolute pleasure. His love for the company, respectful demeanor, leash manners, obedience, and playful spirit made our time with him exceptional. Everything about this house/pet sit was amazing! Their dogs are the sweetest dogs ever, they loved to snuggle up on the couch when we watched movies at night. The dogs get an hour walk every day, it was the perfect excuse for me to get outside with them and walk in the beautiful Bozeman area. The humans are the nicest people ever, super warm and inviting. Their house is gorgeous, we felt comfy and at home there (esp snuggled up with the dogs:). Highly recommend this house/dog sit!!
Whitsun was such a great boy, he’s very chill & sweet. He waits for you on walks & when using the stairs and likes to play with his toys. Chelsea’s home was in a great location & even just walking distance from the beach! Contact was very smooth & informative
Staying at Cat & JP's house was amazing! We met both of them the evening before our housesit officially started, to get to know the dogs. They have a very beautiful house and we felt very comfy here during our stay. The views are amazing and we really enjoyed the home-cinema. The neighbourhood is very nice and safe, neighbours are really friendly too. The dogs are sweet! Lexie is quite a large dog, who loves to go for short walks outside. She is just not a big cuddler at all, so as long as you leave her alone, she will come along and open up a little during your stay. Meatball is a real lover and follows you everywhere - if he gets your attention, some cuddles, a little walk and his treats he is totally easy going and happy to chill next to you. Would totally recommend this place as we really enjoyed our time here.
