About five years ago, I received a recommendation to use Shawe’s Paws. I had just rescued my dog Charlie and needed a dog walker during the days. Jenn at Shawe’s Paws was there from Charlie’s first walk and is still walking Charlie today! Not only is Jenn friendly, reliable and loves Charlie as if she was her own, but she knows how to handle Charlie’s quirks and personality. I feel 110% comfortable using Shawe’s Paws, they are trustworthy, dependable, flexible and I know my dog is always well-taken care of during her mid-day walks!! ❤️❤️❤️

Jen is truly one of the best dog walkers out there. Our dog Oscar is obsessed with her - to the point where she tries to walk quietly by our house if she's going to walk our neighbor's dog so he doesn't hear her! On Oscar's first birthday, I was traveling for work and Jen took Oscar to the store to get him a birthday cake toy. It's the smaller, thoughtful things like this that make her irreplaceable in our pup's life. She also takes super cute pictures (attached) and sends an email about how each walk went. She makes leaving Oscar for work trips less hard because I know that he'll be so excited to see her when she comes for his walk!

Jen and the Shawe's team have been walking my family's dogs for 7 years or so. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate shifting schedules, schedule or cancel on short notice, and even pick up the phone to talk about any pet concerns we might have (unrelated to them! just for advice!). My pup Ollie loves seeing his walkers and I could not do my job without the peace of mind that someone responsible will come take him out and play with him while I work. Bonus - they take the best pics of my little guy while they visit!

We have had an incredibly positive experience with Jen and her team at Shawe's Paws! When we first moved to Philadelphia, our dog was very shy and timid around walkers that we would hire through various apps, but then Jen came and saved the day. She goes above and beyond to make Benji comfortable and now he gets excited when we just say her name. They send photos and updates during the walks, they make scheduling so easy and they are very accommodating! We have also had positive experiences with a few other members on her team! Everyone at Shawe's Paws is reliable, trustworthy and they all just love Dogs! We would recommend their company to everyone!

After several bad experiences with other dog walking services, finding Jennifer was such a relief! My furbaby is in love with her and her assigned walker, Jake. I’ve used Jen and her walkers for over 5 years now and I honestly would never use any other dog walking service in Philly. She is trustworthy, reliable, AND LOVES all of her dogs. And my dog absolutely loves her dog walkers, as I’ve been able to see a couple times when my dog will go running toward them, tail wagging if we happen to bump into them on the street. Jen uses an easy-to-use app to schedule walks/pay invoices and to see the daily walk reports which is super convenient. Also Jen makes herself available for every client and will always try her best to accommodate any late requests - I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to put in a last minute request for a same-day dog walk or for an overnight stay the week-of and Jen will always make it work. Aside from that, it’s great to get pictures of my dog on her walk while I’m at work - I truly never have to worry Sophie when I’m not at home because I know she’s in such great hands. Jen and her team has been taking care of our dog since he was brought into our family as a puppy! From consistent walks, amazing walkers and just all around dog people to overnight stays, she has been there for us throughout his life (and will be for the many years yet to come)! Jen is understanding and flexible with last minute changes, which for us happen a lot! Her walkers leave a note about their walk every time and even text/call us from time to time with updates. I have never noticed a thing out of place in out of place after a walker left. The Shawe's Paws team is the only team I trust to take the best care of our dog! Jen has been in my dog's life for years (even though we've since moved to the suburbs.) She and her staff are flexible, reliable, and they LOVE their charges/pets. They truly understand my quirky, sweet dachshund and he loves them for it. He even got to sleep over Jen's house!! Jen is super responsive and capable and she chooses excellent staff members. I could go on and on, cannot recommend highly enough!

There is absolutely no one I would trust more with our pups than Shawe's Paws. They are fantastic and dependable for daily walks, and they are there for you if you need to travel without your dog. Shawe's email updates provide you with a story about your dog's walk and a number of pictures as well. We have been a client for six years now. We have no idea what we would do without Shawe's Paws!

I've been using Love Em & Leave Em Home for a few year. They are the best pet sitters I've ever used. They keep a journal of every visit to my 2 dogs which I read when I return. They take in my mail and ensure a light is on at night. Best of all, my dogs love them. When I get home the dogs don't need any adjustment time like when I used to take them to a boarding facility. We are happy with Tina, Trish and the crew and highly recommend them.

I have used them many times and would highly recommend them. The people who own and work there really care about your pets. I know my pets are being well taken care of.

I have been using Jim for dog walking and boarding since my 10 year old dog was a puppy. He is reliable, flexible, and trustworthy. Most importantly my dog is crazy about him.

I didn't think I'd be able to find anybody that I trusted as much as much as my close friend who had been walking my dog while he was in between jobs. Not only is Jim very dependable, but he's also willing to deal with my sometimes fluxuating schedule. I highly recommend him.

Asked Jim pretty last minute to see my cat when we went away for for a week. He came over the next day, got oriented, and then checked on her every day for a week. Rates seem fair, he played with her, did litter and food and brushing. Seemed to look for things to do for my cat. Will use again and do recommend.

Lisa is incredible. She has helped me so tremendously I can’t even put it into words. My cat Homer is a 16 year old newly diagnosed with diabetes, which makes leaving for holidays and events a bit harder due to his injections. Lisa has helped me more times than I can count, and Homer loves her! It is such a weight off my mind that he is being cared for so well. She sends updates and photos and is always so generous with her time. I can’t imagine what this past year would have been like without her help.

I have used Lisa Burke from Family Style Pet Sitting as my pet sitter for 13 years now. My old dog would actually get excited when he saw us packing for vacation because he knew he was going to go to Lisa’s house for his “vacation.” I never worried about him because I knew he was in the best possible hands. When he was sick and required special care and medicine, she was the only one I trusted. She also takes care of my two cats and my new dog, and she used to take care of my chickens when we had them as well. Highly recommend!!

Lisa was a God send for our family. We had a vacation planned which got changed around a few times due to a family emergency. Lisa was ready at every corner to adjust as she was able. She showed up on time and as expected. She will be used again on our future trips it is nice to have someone that you can trust. Thanks Lisa!

My puppy Maeve loves her Tuesday daycare trips. She is a little ball of energy and she always comes back happily drained after a day of daycare. They have both indoor and outdoor areas for the dogs and plenty of play equipment and enrichment. I’ve never had an issue with my dog being injured while there. I’ve brought my other dogs who have had some behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and they worked really well with them too.

We have been using Kiwi for years - now with a few different dogs. We currently have two "special needs" dogs - one blind, one deaf - and I can't say enough about the patience and care shown by the staff in caring for these valued members of our family - I never worry about leaving them for boarding, and our one dog has a great time at day care. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating - highly recommend!

5 Stars for bringing our Mira out of her shell! She absolutely loves it here and all we have to say is "school?!?!" and she's at the door ready to leave in the morning!!! The staff is excellent with her and she feels so safe with them, as well!

Been sending my dog here for years, boarding, daycare, the works. He always comes home happy (exhausted) and sprints to get there in the morning. Staff is super friendly, I wouldn't send my dog anywhere else if I had the option. 11/10.

Sky stayed at KIWI Dogz for 10 days. She participated in all-day doggie daycare and was cared for in their boarding facilities. Today, when we picked her up, Sky looked so happy. I don't think she wanted to leave her new doggie friends and their caring staff. I highly recommend KIWI Dogz for your daycare and boarding needs.

I go 30 minutes ouf of my way to take my pups here. The staff is all super kind and engaged. They take great care of my dogs! I’ve been using them off and on for 10 years and only paused while living further away. It’s hard to trust someone with your fur babes and they really do love them here.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Dog seemed happy and was tired at the end of the day.

Janine is without a doubt the best groomer! She is the only person who our special-needs dog lets anywhere near her nails and she is always so loving & kind towards her. We're so grateful we found her and we would NEVER go anywhere else!

They take great care of your dog. We recently went away and our dog got a bit anxious while staying there, likely due to how busy it was during this time of year. Ann the owner was great and her staff kept in touch with us to let us know how he was doing.

We reached out to Five Paws very last minute to see if they would be able to watch our dog who had significant medical needs. They were wonderful from start to finish and I was so confident each time that she was in such great care. We've previously had her boarded and she would seem so stressed when we picked her up. We were desperate to find an alternative and we didn't look back once we started using Five Paws. They give updates, pictures and each time we came home she was as happy as can be. They provided such peace for us knowing she was in good hands and was happy especially given all of her medical concerns (dog dementia, blindness, hard of hearing, pain, etc..). Our Sahara has since passed but I would use them again and again with any dogs we may have in the future and cannot recommend them enough.

I don't trust anyone else with my pets when I'm away! I love that I know I will get photos of my cats and a report of how the visit went from the sitter. They take time to give the cats individual attention, not just coming in to feed, clean, and leave. Scheduling is very easy and the rates are reasonable.

Hi: Kudos to Five Paws Recently had Five Paws cat sit our cats and pond fish. The team at Five Paws hit a homerun with us. The team is very professional, respectful and loving to our gang. The team of Melinda and Blythe were so observant of our pets, even going out of the way to feed our strays, without blinking an eye. Special shout out to Melinda who really saved the day as she was feeding the fish in our pond, when she noticed that one of our goldfish got stuck in the filter. Without any hesitation she jumped in to save him, which would have been a disaster if she didn't as he would have passed and fouled the pond water. Five Paws provides the BEST pet-sitting service around! Finding them has made time away from our dogs stress-free, as we get fun updates and photos after every visit. The sitters have really gotten to know our dogs, and even our super-shy pup now loves when they come. Highly recommend!

Five Paws has taken excellent care of all my pets (rabbit, cat, mice) for many years now and they do an excellent job! They were even able to give my cat pills (in pill pockets) and coordinated with my vet once when she stopped eating and I could not be reached. They are reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and professional. I will continue to use them when I go on vacation and highly recommend them!

They've taken great care of my cats for a few years! I can relax on vacation, and love getting the photo reports each visit which show how my pets are doing.

We have been using Five Paws for a few years now, for small weekend trips or week long vacations. They have been so wonderful with our pups. It is a relief to know my dogs are in good hands and they can remain comfortable in their own space while we are away, instead of in a kennel which would stress my 13 year old pup too much. I always hate to leave them behind but I am so grateful to know they are happy and healthy and having fun while I’m gone.

We used Five Paws for our cat while we were on vacation. It was the first time we left her behind without family checking in, and I was a nervous wreck. Faith was our sitter, who took wonderful care of our girl. After every visit, we'd receive an update with multiple pictures. We've already put in our vacation request days for this summer!

I HIGHLY recommend hiring Five Paws of Delco! The owner is fantastic, the scheduling process is so simple, and all of the sitters are wonderful! They are EXTREMELY reliable and trustworthy, which is so important when you're away. They also have a great app used to communicate with each sitter and to see pics of your pups! I always receive such a sweet and detailed update from our sitter after every visit. I had an experience where I was out of the country using a different sitter (not Five Paws of Delco) who was supposed to watch my dogs at their house for the week. They decided that they no longer wanted to watch them after a couple days, so they dropped them back off at my house, alone. I was panicking, just having arrived in another country, so I reached out to Five Paws of Delco who immediately responded and scheduled multiple last minute visits for me. I cannot thank them enough for being there during this very stressful time! It's so comforting to know we always have them available to sit for our dogs. I promise you won't regret hiring this company!

We have been using Five Paws for a little over two years for noontime walks and visits for our miniature poodle. They are absolutely the best to work with! Jenn is highly responsive and accommodating. Their staff love what they do and our dog adores all of his Five Paws friends! I trust anyone from Five Paws that comes in to our home. I also love that there is a modern portal for scheduling and billing. We love Five Paws!

Our dog Molly loves this place. She goes three days a week and enjoys playing with the larger dog group there. She has A LOT of energy so it's great that she gets it out while we are at work. It appears that the staff actually enjoys working there and cares about dogs wellbeing. It's fun seeing our girl on social media having a blast. Molly also gets groomed there - it's not exactly cheap but that's because they do a phenomenal job. My only small gripe is *sometimes* the building and she smells like pee when I pick her up.

House of Dog is amazing! I bring my two dogs Miley and Presley there to get their energy out during the week. Everyone knows you and your dogs. It’s run like a regular daycare with lots of enrichment, play time, and they sometimes send them home with arts and crafts. It’s so much fun and my dogs love it! Highly recommend!

House of dog is great! We have been sending our 2 year old mixed rescue Shadow for about a year & 1/2 now to daycare & she loves it! She went through training classes there! She was board there for our wedding & they even transported her to the wedding to be in our ceremony! They do cute themed days! Now we will start sending our new puppy Rocky who is a 6 month old mixed rescue! He just went through his temperament test and seems to love it already! The staff is amazing & I can’t recommend them enough!

My puppy Dakota has been coming here for a few weeks and we have been super happy!! She is always excited to get out of the car and go inside and is always so tired when she gets home from playing! I also love how they post pictures/videos on Facebook all day you can really tell they love the doggies like their own! :)

There aren't enough good things I could say about House of Dog! My dog Romeo has been going there since we first got him (7months) and he LOVES going. I love how they post so many pictures and videos to ease the pup parents minds while they are at daycare/boarding. I have a 8 year old pit, Autumn, who can be a little fearful and was nervous she wouldn't be accepted, but they assured me they would make her stay as enjoyable as possible. Whenever I can recommend this facility, I do!

Hank has been going to HOD for almost a year and we absolutely love it! He attends daycare 3 days a week and has the best time. The staff is always friendly and super welcoming. As soon as we walk in the door, we are always greeted and Hank’s tail instantly starts wagging! I love all of the pictures they post on Facebook and I can always tell Hank is having the best time. If you’re looking for a place to board or send your dog to daycare HOD is the place to go! We love it so much!

This is the only place I would ever feel comfortable boarding my dogs. It’s a ver large, nice, clean building. They even have the cutest shuttle. Follow their Facebook for the cutest posts.

House of Dogs Retreat and Spa was the best move for Tootsie. She loves going there and playing with the other dogs and humans. The workers are friendly and pay great attention to the dogs.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive in creating a welcoming atmosphere. They provide a safe and comfortable space for my fur baby. Riley loves going here and she will sleep until 2pm the next day. I can’t recommend House of Dog enough!

HOD is great for doggie day care, and boarding needs. We have been a customer for the last three years and have seen the business evolve. HOD has been effective every step of the way at always keeping up the high quality of their services. They have a great staff and well maintained facility. Their staff are great with communication and they have a client portal which is very user friendly. Highly recommend!

Our 7 month old lab puppy was in great hands with Caleb! He sent us a bunch of photos and kept us up to date on how she was doing. She had a blast! We highly recommend Caleb! Side note: Caleb might have a future as a dog photographer. See photo that he took that my wife and I now use as our phone background.

Caleb was recommended to us by our dear friends and we have never considered anyone else sitting our pupper (Shifu) ever since. Caleb is so great with dogs, takes such good care and loves them all so much. I would recommend Caleb to you if you’re looking to trust someone with your pup. I needed someone I could really trust to watch my dog Bowie. Caleb took such good care of him and sent me many pictures which put me at ease. I now wouldn’t trust Bowie with anyone else! We just moved to Philly and we are so lucky that we found Caleb! Not only he takes great care of our pup (Fuller), he also recommends us to so many great spots that we could take our pup. Fuller absolutely loves Caleb - you can tell by the intensity of the tail wag when he sees Caleb. This is a photo of Fuller taking a nap at Caleb’s place. We like that it was crate free so Fuller learned how to be in the house!

I highly recommend 215petcare for all of your dog walking and dog sitting needs! Caleb has been my reliable and wonderful dog walker for years. My 3 very active pitties absolutely love him! Things can be hectic with my work schedule, but I know I can depend on Caleb’s flexibility to make sure my dogs get a nice walk with playtime while I am gone. He has even been able to stop by on shorter notice when I am out longer than I expected to be. It’s reassuring to know you have a dog walker that truly cares for your pet as much as you do, which is completely true of Caleb. I love all of the nice photos he sends of my dogs from their walks too! I recommend him to everyone and will undoubtedly continue with him for the future!!

Caleb is super reliable and you can tell he loves the dogs he takes care of and they love him. We've used him for 3 years and our dog gets so excited when she sees him coming up the street. Offers walks and day care which is great since our schedule changes on a weekly basis. He is more organized than we are most of the time. Would highly recommend!

Can't say enough about Caleb and 215Petcare. I've have been using Caleb for all my pet walking/sitting needs for a number of years now. From the very first time I met Caleb it was evident how much he loved dogs and how passionate he was about providing nothing but the best care. I trust Caleb with the care of my two pups completely...he treats them like they are his own and even checks in on them during times we haven't seen him in a while. My pups absolutely love spending time with him and his dogs. His place is like a second home to them. Highly recommend Caleb to anyone, he truly has become a part of our family.

Caleb shows genuine affection for the dogs in his care. We recently left our two older dogs with Caleb for 10 days. He regularly sent updates and photos. I highly recommend Caleb and already have requested another 10 day stay in January.

Caleb is so good with my dog! He was very patient as she learned to trust him (she developed a bit of separation anxiety during the pandemic). She clearly adores him now. Caleb is also extremely organized and reliable: always confirms appointments, let’s me know his ETA to pick her up and drop her back, and is easy to communicate with. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Rosie is absolutely wonderful! She is not only reliable but also incredibly loving towards our dog. Every time we leave our pet with her, we have complete peace of mind knowing that she is in great hands. Rosie goes above and beyond to ensure our dog is happy, well-cared for, and safe. We also love all the pictures she shares with us of the activities our dog is doing! We couldn’t ask for better dog care and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring.

Rosie kept our dog overnight. Our dog can be nervous, especially around new people, but she warmed immediately to Rosie during our meet and greet time. In less than ten minutes my dog was sitting next to her getting her ears rubbed! Rosie was also careful to introduce our dog to her other boarders one at a time so that she could be sure that animals had good interaction and our dog was not overwhelmed. We will definitely place our pup in Rosie’s care again when needed!

Rosie has been caring for my 3 fur babies for a couple years now and always pampers my pooches to the point they don’t want to leave! I feel so very comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she always accommodates me the best she can (especially last minute). When I pick up the dogs, they honestly act as though they don’t want to leave. That is a true sign that they are loved and cared for by Rosie. I highly recommend her!

Rosie has been a phenomenal find! Our dog (3 year old goldendoodle) loves to stay with her in her home when we are busy or on vacation. She keeps in touch by sending pictures while we're away and our dog always looks so happy to be with Rosie and the other dogs. We will definitely be using her again - 5 stars!

Rosie is the best! My dog loves her daycare days to the point where it's almost impossible to get her in the car when I come to pick her up, even after a full day of playing. She always comes home happy and tired, and Rosie is so sweet with her. I can't recommend her and Main Line Dog Care enough!

We've boarded our 10 year old Havepoo Daisy with Rosie several times in the last year. Each time has been a very good experience for both Daisy and us. Rosie's love and commitment to the dogs in her care is always evident. She is reliable and very easy to work with. I wish I could give her more stars if I could! I was so lucky to have found Rosie back in 2020. I rescued my dog Winston in 2020 and was a little nervous finding care for him because he was quite reactive. Big dog boarding facilities were just too overwhelming for him. The one facility we tried, he would book it out the door as soon as you picked him up, just trying to get out asap! Now at Rosies, he runs right up to the door so excited to go in! She welcomes these dogs into her home like they are her own. She's so great with sending photos and the photos I receive always put a smile on my face knowing he has dog friends to hang out with, couches and beds to snuggle up on, and a big backyard to play in. It's so much more personal and home-like than a big boarding facility. As for the negative review, I would fully expect to pay for anything Winston might have destroyed of hers. This is her home and you're taking your dog there knowing that. At the end of the day, dogs are dogs. Your dog could have never chewed anything up in it's life and then just decides one day to chew something! As a millennial woman with no children, my dog is my child. He is my life. And I trust Rosie with him 100%! <3

We are so lucky we found Rosie! She cares for our 6 year old labradoodle Quincy like we do in our own home. She spoils him with daily walks and visits to the dog park. Hi - I recently traveled to Europe for a week and Rosie watched my 2 Chesapeakes and did an amazing job. One of my dogs is epileptic and Rosie was great about giving him all his medications. I will definitely be using Main Line Dog Care again.

Liz is awesome - super reliable/professional and my dog is obsessed with her. When he was a puppy she would help with his training and reinforce everything we were teaching him. Now he goes for quality walks with her and comes back tuckered - quite an accomplishment for an Australian Shepherd! We are so lucky to have her!!

We love Pamper and play! We have used their service for walking our dog and for housesitting. In both cases we found Liz and her team to be reliable, responsible and loving toward our dog. I also love how we can book a dog walk once in a while when we realize we're going to be gone for a long day. Liz is as happy and responsive to do a oner-off walk as to be coming regularly. The folks that housesit for P&P are wonderful. (TJ is great!_ I can tell they really bond with our dog. I highly recommend Pamper & Play. You won't regret it!

Liz is an incredible pet sitter! She loves others pets and cares for them like they're a part of her family! Wouldn't want anyone else to take care of our two big dogs and many cats! Not to mention our bunny and reptiles! She's amazing!

I can’t say enough good things about this service. My dog was well cared for and she even took her at short notice. In fact she sent me feedback while I was away so I knew that my dog was ok. My beloved Phoebe just had to be put down and I received a sympathy card. I was so touched. Liz truly loves animals and provides a wonderful service for pet owners. Very caring and competent. Very professional. We had Liz take care of our 2 dogs and 4 cats, in our own home, while away for our summer vacation in Myrtle Beach. They and we loved her!!! She stopped by 3x a day to make sure our furry family members were happy and healthy. Liz even went the extra mile of vacuuming to make sure we didn't come home to extra fluffy carpet due to summer shedding. She loved the animals as if they were her own, and spoiled them as if so. I think they were more upset to see Liz go then us when we left for vacation lol. She also kept us updated daily with how everybody was doing. They didn't seem to miss us one bit 😍

I have two German Shepherds and was dog sitting for a friend when I had a family emergency. I was needed at the hospital ASAP. I was nervous about these dogs being together and I needed someone fast that could handle the job. I had heard about Liz from a friend. I can't express my gratitude enough. She showed up as quickly as she could. She walked them, fed them, managed to have them all tuckered out by the time I got home (not an easy task) AND all three of them were snuggling on the same bed. As far as my experience goes, Liz is a miracle worker! I will definitely be relying on her services from now on.
