Dog Sitters in Swift Run, VA

Heidi took incredible care of my dog and my apartment while I was traveling for almost a month! She was a great communicator and took the time to understand both my dogs needs and my expectations for how much communication I wanted. She sent me some great photos of him while I was out and was very professional. I would invite her to come house sit again in a second! I could also tell that she really loves dogs and enjoyed spending time with my pup. I returned home to a super clean apartment and a nice note. All to say- highly recommend her!!

Shana was an awesome house/dog sitter! We enjoyed getting photos of the adventures she went on with our dog Blue--to the dog park, on hikes--we felt like Blue got a vacation too while we were away. When we returned, the house was clean and looked the same as we had left it. Most importantly, Shana was flexible and accommodating when our flight home didn't go as planned, and she stayed an extra night to make sure Blue wouldn't be left alone. Thank you, Shana!

Christy, Joe and kids were great to have out at Cappelhurst! They love the land and the animals, know how to care for it, and engaged both 100%. They kept us posted with fun-to-read texts and pictures, and even volunteered some tree care. All was clean and well cared for upon our return. I hope they pass through our way again.

Always a dream to have Robin come and sit for my cat Zoe! Great communication, daily updates and pics, and I can tell my kitty is a happy girl when I get home. (Plus, the house is always spotless!) Couldn't recommend more highly! Thanks, Robin!

Jenna and Laith and their kids were a pleasure to have sit for us! They took great care of our two dogs and cat and somehow left the house even cleaner than we left it for them! They were very self sufficient and at the same time communicative about how the pets were doing, sending really cute pictures along the way. We’d love to have them back any time!

Christine made everything easy for us! She arrived promptly at the agreed-upon time so that I could show her the house and introduce her to our pets. It was easy to leave knowing that we had an exceptional housesitter looking after our pets and home. Christine is incredibly reliable and responsible. Nancy and Ken were great sitters. They stayed in touch with us before and during the sit. Leading up to the sit, they asked thoughtful and appropriate questions. They were organized, giving us their travel information in advance. I really appreciated the time they took to prepare for our sit. They took excellent care of our condo. Everything was cleaned and ready for our return. Most importantly, they took excellent care of our cats. Gypsie and Lake warmed up to Nancy and Ken quickly. The pictures we received every couple of days showed me that my girls were having a good time and enjoying their new friends. I would recommend Nancy and Ken to anyone looking for mature, responsible sitters. If you want to leave your home and pets in good hands, allowing you to travel worry-free, they are the perfect people for the job.

The house was spotless and the kitties very well cared for. We would have them back again and highly recommend!

Elzaan and her family were wonderful. They watched my 2 cats for about a week. One of my cats is shy and needs medication, and Elzaan ensured that she got affection and got her meds each day. When I came home, the house was cleaner than when I had left it, and Elzaan and her kids had even left small gifts for me. They were wonderful and I'd gladly have them come sit again.

We are so thankful to have met Kathy and Mike! They were amazing from start to finish. They had excellent communication throughout the whole process. The dogs loved them immediately. Kathy frequently sent pictures of the dogs. We are thankful our dogs got to share some love and joy. I have never come home to such happy, calm animals. We suspect Mike spent more time on the floor than in a chair. Kathy and Mike made me feel secure for this first sit with Zeewoi. We talked, texted and got pictures. They gladly came the night before so we could get an early start. They were easy to talk to, and genuinely kind. I wish we lived closer to these new friends. BONUS: We came home to a perfectly clean house!

From the first time we chatted with Chloe, we knew she would be a great sitter. She was organized, easy to talk with and very interested in spending time with our Jasper. Throughout the sitting she regularly communicated with us; sending photos of Jasper every day. We returned home last night. Jasper and our home were in great shape. We appreciate the time she took to launder the sheets and towels she used. We highly recommend Chloe and would love to have her return as Jasper’s caregiver.

Suzanne is an extraordinary helpful and delightful woman. She's easy going ( I love that!) and I trust her with my little boy, Brody. I had numerous failed attempts to get a washer/dryer unit replaced and she offered to receive it while I was away. That's just one example, she made several offers to make my trip easier as I had unexpected gallbladder surgery 10 days before my departure date.I would definitely ask her to house sit again.
