Tracey
Tracey welcomed us to a lovely home in a peaceful village, right next to an open field. The local area is perfect for walks. Her Labrador Reggie is really friendly and well behaved, we really fell in love with him, and he didn't seem to mind us either! Thanks for having us.

Mary
We loved Mary’s home and looking after Meg and Lucy was so much fun. Mary was great with her instructions and everything was easy to find. Portishead was beautiful and her home was so central. Thank you, Mary! 🥰

Gudrun
THANK YOU Gudrun, Ralf and pups Jackie, Resi & Pepe for having us, what a fun and lovely stay! We so greatly appreciate your kind hospitality and friendship and it was truly a treat to be with the dogs in your lovely home.

Gudrun and Ralf are wonderful, we had excellent communications and were very prepared for our stay. We did not have (nor need) a car as their modern & very comfy home is located near a train station and supermarkets are about a 20 min walk.

We very much enjoyed walking the dogs around the neighborhood and along trails by local vineyards. Jackie, Resi and Pepe are all very good doggies…Resi was shy at first, but full of smiles and personality once comfortable; super-smart Jackie loves ball and swimming; and Pepe is the most easy-going and kind gentleman, following us around with his big doggie grin. Walking three dogs at once can have challenges, especially if cats & other dogs also about, but with two people, we all did fine.

Highest recommendation and an absolute privilege. So happy to know you all, we hope to see you again ??

Tom
The stay at Tom's apartment was great - the city is amazing with so many places to visit. I was able to explore it by bike and walking and I really enjoyed the architecture and culture of the city.
Olly is probably the most loving and affectionate cat I have ever met. He’s super independent and he enjoys the company very much and so do I: I miss his purrs and affection! ☺️

Brian
I had a wonderful time sitting for Clare and Brian. Communication was very easy, both before and during the sit.
I met the family, and pets, before they left on holiday so we had a good handover and they very kindly invited me to stay the evening they returned too as they didn't get back until late.
Ellie is a real sweety - loving, excitable and just adorable. We had some lovely walks from the doorstep and she soon learnt 'hold on' so that I could take photos and pick blackberries 😁
I didn't see much of Cookie and Muffin as they were generally out doing their own things but they were very affectionate when I did, and super easy to look after.
Clare and Brian have a lovely house in a beautiful area and I would highly recommend this wonderful sit.

Bharath
We had a nice FaceTime with Bharath & Michelle before we arrived. Unfortunately, we never got to meet Bharath because he had to leave earlier due to a death in his family. However, the house-sit was quite a bit different from the description we saw in the THS ad and our conversation with them.
The (2) dogs & (2) of the (3) cats were friendly. The other was quite shy, which they warned us, but they never mentioned Sam (the cat) had a urinary problem before we got there and had to have medication. Michelle did tell us he had peed in one of the chairs, which he did again (1) time while we were there.
They had (4) cat litter boxes, (3) of them were just inside the front door entry, which made the area smell of cat urine.
The ad said there was "dedicated workspace (office)" which there were two (2) because they both worked from home. However, both areas were not ready for others to work from.
They complained afterward about "a few items in the home had been moved around/rearranged unnecessarily". Not sure what those items were, but sometimes things don't get put back where they were in our own home.
This was the couple's first time using THS and perhaps they will change their home pictures & description to be a little more realistic.
