I had a fantastic experience sitting for Libby and Archie! Archie absolutely loved playing in the lake and was incredibly sweet and affectionate. Despite her age, Libby was very sweet and easy to care for. The house itself was warm and inviting, with a beautiful view of the water. Danae was very kind, communicative, and made me feel very welcome. I enjoyed swimming in the lake and spending time outdoors in the yard and water with Archie. I would love to visit again if asked and highly recommend this wonderful opportunity!
Heidi and Fred are wonderful people, and housesitting for them was a delight! They gave us a thorough walkthrough of their gorgeous New England home when we arrived and were very responsive throughout our stay. Sweet Harley is a model dog. We fell in love with him immediately. He’s extremely smart, well-mannered, and wants to be with people — a big boy who likes to crawl in your lap! We had our own dedicated guest room, and anything we needed was accessible in the home, making for a comfortable stay. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, which we loved! Most nights, we walked down to dinner. Highly recommend sitting for Heidi, Fred, and Harley!
I absolutely fell in love with Panda, she's such a joy to be around, has so much personality, and will give you endless cuddles! She loves a walk or two a day but can also be very independent as well. Andrew and Elyse have a beautiful home and garden, they are super easy to communicate with are really friendly too.
This was the most amazing sit - I actually considered not leaving feedback so I could keep Aileen and Alfie to myself but my better nature prevailed... Aileen has a beautiful new build house in a very convenient part of Livingston. She's a keen cook so has everything you could possibly need in the way of ingredients and hardware, and Sharp Knives! Aileen is an extraordinary kind and generous homeowner and went well above and beyond the call to make our stay as comfortable as she possibly could. Alfie is Aileen's beloved Tibetan Terrier and has at least a triple dose of personality. He's funny and cheeky and made us laugh with his antics. He's very well known in the neighbourhood and we met many of his furry friends whilst on our walks (and their owners, too!). And if you're lucky, maybe you'll get to meet Skye. She joined us for the first part of the sit and has an endearing, energetic character. We'd be delighted to be asked to stay with Alfie again, should Aileen need to travel in the future.
Had a great time with these three - they are easy to get to know, well behaved and above all lovable. The house was a pleasure to stay in and there is a good choice of walks nearby.
Spending a few days with Astro and Max was fantastic! They are both so cuddly and sweet, I enjoyed them both so much. Astro is a great walker and loves to play with his toys in the backyard. Max likes getting scratched and brushed and is very gentle and friendly. Gigi and Chuck are wonderful hosts who thought of everything. We enjoyed a lovely dinner together and they had a super-comfortable guest suite all prepared for me. Upon their return, they generously invited me to stay the night so I wouldn't have to drive home in the dark. The house is gorgeous, situated on the marsh, peacefully quiet and I echo what the other sitters said, that the whole sit was an amazing experience and you're lucky if you get to come here.
