Wow, where to begin for this incredible sit! Kate and her family were so lovely, kind and welcoming. I feel very grateful to have met them. Kate was kind enough to pick me up from town and gave me a little tour of their neighbourhood so I could get a feel for where everything was. The house is amazing, such a nice space with everything you could possibly need. There is a bus stop about a two minute walk from the house which has regular buses to town that takes around half an hour. There are so many parks close by as well as two supermarkets within walking distance. Lucy is the most wonderful dog! I really bonded with her during my stay and was a little sad when it came time to say my goodbyes. Lucy LOVES to play fletch, there is a green space right across the road perfect for this. Lucy also loved our long walks. She has an awesome little personality and loves a cuddle on the couch when she’s had her exercise. I would highly recommend this sit. Thanks!
Loved our sit at Deb and Bob’s. Bed was super comfy, house was spotless and pets were divine, loved all four of them. Plymouth was a great walking city, car didn’t move. Thankyou and we hope to be back.
I was lucky enough to be invited to take care of the beautiful Nala by Melissa this May. Nala is an independent and loving lady who is full of personality, communicative and sweet. She kept me laughing throughout my stay with her antics including circus level acrobatics chasing the laser pen, forehead nudges to let me know when it was time for cuddles or dinner time, and her loving snuggles. She was a fantastic companion! Melissa was communicative, relaxed, warm and made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable in her home, even leaving a lovely bottle of wine for me to enjoy. Melissa's apartment is comfortable and well located next to the metro, so was an excellent base to enjoy Copenhagen. I left with a wonderful new furry friend and feeling like a valued guest of Melissa's. Thanks so much for having me and cuddles to Nala!
I did a 3-day housesit for Eli and the lovely Marty (dog) and Maya (cat). It was super easy-going, Eli and I had a video call before the housesit and he gave me his full trust to let myself into the house. Marty and Maya are pretty low maintenance overall, so there was time to enjoy the lovely countryside as well - the beach is only a 20min walk and the South Downs are nearby too. Marty is a very loving dog and wants to follow you everywhere - this was my first time dogsitting actually and I couldn't have asked for a friendlier dog :) Maya is independent, but loves some cuddles too - a typical cat lady! I would recommend to housesit for Eli and appreciate how smooth everything went! Thank you!
I wish this sit lasted longer. Cute apartment in a great part of LA. Lots of interesting walks, and outdoor pet-friendly cafes in the neighborhood. Clare made it super easy, with great documentation of what was expected. As for the pets, they are amazing. Their puggle Newt was my best buddy for 3 days. He is super smart and really friendly. Total snuggler. While it took a day for Simon the cat to warm up I think he really took a liking to me. Or maybe he wanted treats. Whatever. I had a great time and was kind of sad to leave.
The two sweet pups were such a pleasure to care for. I was a little concerned because of a recently diagnosed illness with one of them, but I was careful to administer the required medicine exactly as prescribed and all was well. If you have a chance to visit Palm Desert, this is a sit I highly recommend as it's in a beautiful area in a very lovely home and with the nicest of hosts!
