We had a lovely time sitting for Carolyn. Harry and Annabelle were very easy to look after and really nice company. Their home is really nice, spacious and had everything we needed. Carolyn and Kingsley were incredibly hospitable.
It was a pleasure to house sit for Lisa and Lucky. Lucky is the sweetest, most affectionate, calm Kitty I have ever been acquainted with. She would sit at my lap in the evenings and sleep with me when it was time to turn in for the night. She was not skittish in the least and welcomed me with affection. She was easy and very good company! Lisa has a beautiful, clean and well stocked pantry of spices and cooking paraphernalia, if you like to cook. The bedrooms, living area, kitchen and bathrooms were clean and new. The apartment was very comfortable. The apartment is literally across the street from the metro and a half mile to grocery stores (whole foods). The area is safe to walk about, with lots of eateries and coffee shops next door. I took the metro in daily to visit the DC sites and it was always a safe and easy commute into DC proper...maybe 15 minutes. Lisa communicated by text often, even though she was traveling, so I always was able to stay in touch if I had any questions. She was quick to respond, which was great! I would love to sit again with Lucky in the future!
Wow what a great sit, which went all to quickly, we were given a very warm welcome from the start by Alison & David, was later treated to a lovely meal cooked by Alison. The house is very comfortable and beautifully located to explore the local area. The real treat for us was Bryn, Piper and little Wren, they are extremely biddable, can be walked off the lead on the beautiful walks afforded by the area, we have created some lasting memories with the dogs, we would gladly return for a future sit if asked.
Anne is a great woman who wants to make sure you are feeling good and with all your needs met. Her house is so beautiful and comfy. Amazing views and so peaceful area. Wifi speed was perfect, so I could work on line. Badger and Kandy are absolutely adorable.. Playful, loving and always up for games, cuddles or walks. I already miss them!! Also I´m very grateful and happy all of them accept very well Neo, my 14 year old labrador, and we had a great time all together.
Nice couple. Sweet, loving and well-behaved pets. Interesting historic house. Great neighborhood in Philly, close to everything you need. We really enjoyed our long weekend taking care of the girls. Lawton was well organized which made everything easy. We would definitely like to sit again. Thanks for a nice experience.
