We really enjoyed looking after Mango, Olive and Oscar. We arrived and Annie and Steve were so accommodating, even getting a real Christmas tree and leaving some treats for us to enjoy over the festive period! We made sure Mango's birthday was celebrated with cake and that all three had a present for Christmas Day! Our bedroom and en-suite was beautiful, the whole house is gorgeous and we loved being so near Haslemere village. After spending a month with Mango, Olive and Oscar we will miss them, especially the evening snuggles on the sofa! We would definitely recommend as a really lovely sit.
We had the absolute pleasure of sitting for Stacey, Troy, Allie, and Achilles! Stacey and Troy are such warm, easy-going, welcoming hosts. Stacey is incredibly organized, provides excellent instructions and is very responsive in communications, which ensured our sit went smoothly and made it an absolute breeze to take care of Allie and Achilles. We fell in love with Allie and Achilles – such intelligent and well-trained dogs with really fun personalities. They were a joy to spend time with. The excellent temperament and training of Allie and Achilles is a testament to Stacey and Troy’s love and commitment to them. The home is a wonderfully peaceful two acre retreat on the SE edge of Calgary, but important amenities are just a few minutes drive away. It has a lovely chef's kitchen, and no shortage of chillaxing with recliner sofa, satellite TV and WIFI. The kitchen is very well equipped for any of one's needs. Comfortable doesn’t even begin to describe the king-sized bed and the best bedding that we have ever slept on. We would consider ourselves very lucky to sit for Stacey and Troy again and highly recommend this sit to anyone!
I had a wonderful time house sitting for Neil and Jennifer, and looking after their gorgeous cat Robin! They are a lovely couple, very friendly, welcoming and easy to deal with. They helped me to feel very at home, and were always happy to help if I needed something. Robin is a really cool cat, and I loved spending time with him! He's very playful and has lots of funny habits, like carrying his toys around the house, chasing the hose water, and he can jump impressively high! But he also likes to cuddle up and relax, and I loved having him cuddle up around my feet while I sat on the couch. I have never come across a cat who is so interactive and intelligent. He already knew several words before I came, and I was able to teach him a few new tricks while I was there. I was amazed how quickly he learns! The house is beautiful, clean, cosy and has everything you would need for very comfortable living. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to return again. Highly recommended!
We had a fabulous time sitting for Lynn, Colin and Squid. Lynn and Colin were very welcoming and made us a meal when we arrived. Lynn also made us a birthday cake!! The house is very comfortable with everything you need. We slept really well whilst we were there. The house is located in a lovely village with loads of walks from the doorstep. There's a great pub about a mile away that does excellent food and great coffees. Squid is also made very welcome. Squid is an absolute delight. Hes very playful but loves a cuddle. He loved all his walks especially the beach. His recall is great and he comes back to a call or whistle. We absolutely fell in love with him and were sorry to leave him. We would really recommend this sit but be warned - Squid will melt your heart!!!
It was such a pleasure looking after Maggie during this short stay while Lillian went away for a few days. Her apartment is in a perfect Chelsea location and was very comfortable.
Ryan and Carly are fabulous hosts and pet-parents, and I had a wonderful time pupsitting Brooklyn, who is a very chill doggy with an enormous personality. Brooklyn loves cuddles and belly scratches, and is most insistent about her interests when on walks. Generally, she is very laid back and pleasantly playful, with lovely, expressive eyes and a pleasant disposition. Ryan and Carly have a beautiful, airy home, perfect for enjoying mornings at the kitchen table and evenings relaxing in comfy seating. They take every step to ensure that sitters feel welcome, and have a kind and generous approach. They made sure that I felt right at home in their clean and joyful space with their sweet and companionable fur baby! Ryan and Carly are also very responsive via text, which was great for my peace of mind. I highly recommend this sit -- Thanks Ryan and Carly!
