Alan & Dorothy warmly welcomed us to their lovely cottage in Haslemere, Betty & Dudley were perfectly behaved and we enjoyed our stay
Lots of lovely walks, so close to home, no need to hope in the car at all
We’d love to return one day and look forward to corresponding with our new found friends

Our time spent at Gillian and Paul’s cozy home with their sweet doggie trio was more than we could have hoped for. We absolutely fell in love with Molly, Ozzy and “Curious George” and it was a joy getting to see each of their unique personalities shine through during our visit. The location is ideal for exercising their crew, as they are just a short stroll down the street from an amazing riverside trail which winds past picturesque farm land and old train tracks. All three dogs are very well behaved both on and off the lead, and since they’re so familiar with their route, walking them to and fro is a breeze. Molly will undoubtedly pickup a stick right off the bat and will hold onto it to play fetch. Ozzy and Georgie love to tag along and chase after the stick as well, but it is more for sport as they just want to be included in the game (and splashing about in the water). Upon returning from their daily walk, they know their routine very well which makes an easy transition to snack-time. Each of them have their own cute “dog robe” which they look forward to being all tucked into before they settle in for a nap. Gillian and Paul are very generous hosts, who graciously took us to and from the train station and gave us tips of what to do and see. They made us feel extremely welcome in their home, and it was wonderful being able to share a meal and a chat to get to know them better. We truly hope to see them again should we ever find ourselves back in the UK!

Pat
We mostly enjoyed our stay in Pat’s lovely house with stellar views and getting to know her very beautiful cat Max. However, it was stressful that Max occasionally swatted at us, particularly in the large bedroom. I think a single female sitter using the smaller bedroom would suit Max better and he would be more relaxed. Overall, it can be a wonderful sit, with a nice location and a very generous host.

Tom
We had such a wonderful time staying at Tom and Nicky's house. Buddy and Merlin are the most lovely boys! We really enjoyed our walks by the river with Buddy and the area they live in is so peaceful.
The house is modern and so comfortable and they had made every effort to leave it clean and prepped for our stay.
Tom and Nicky provided us a really helpful welcome pack and took lots of time before their departure to ensure we were settled and comfortable.
They also welcomed our children ... Thank you to Lizzie for allowing them to stay in her room!
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nicky and Tom for a pet sit and would love to return one day! Thank you for making our first experience on trusted house sitters such a good one!

This is been with no doubts one of my favorite sitting ever!
Communication with Jennifer is been smooth from the very beginning to the end. She left very clear instructions and a nice welcoming gift too, which I really appreciated 😊
I loved the coziness and beauty of her little bungalow, so peaceful and so nicely decorated. I really had a unique relaxing time and felt home throughout all my stay plus It’s in a very strategic position, very close to everything and a few blocks away from the beach.
The kitties are super cute and very easy to take care of. They started to show affection the same very day I arrived. Just after a few hours they were already hanging out with me on the couch, thing that doesn’t happen all the times and I really enjoyed take pictures of them.
I would definitely sit for them again and l recommend it to anybody who want to spend some real nice and relaxing time with beautiful furry friends and very close to the beach!

Thank you for allowing me to care for Clegg and Cole in your home!

Clegg and Cole are sweet boys who clearly enjoy being with their packmates. The few times I attempted to leave the house without them, Cole looked at me like he wondered what he'd done wrong to deserve abandonment and Clegg barked at me like he thought perhaps he might actually be able to prevent my leaving if he barked frantically enough. For several hours each day, I sat on your couch with Clegg on one side and Cole on the other, working at my laptop or rolling Netflix. Whenever I sat at the island in your kitchen to work, the boys usually lay on the floor to either side of the stool on which I sat. Clegg cracked me up when he followed me into the bathroom, as well -- not that that behavior is new to me, since my dogs at home do it, too. I wouldn't even think of closing the bathroom door on Clegg -- he became vociferous in his worry if I ever forgot and did begin to close the door! And I'm sorry: I know you trained them to sleep in their crates and they no doubt do so quite happily when you are home, but I let them sleep on the bed with me every night. They are such snugglebugs! Since I rented a car (a car is definitely necessary when staying in your home, if one hopes to explore other parts of Charlotte with any ease), I took Cole and Clegg with me almost everywhere I went. I selected parks and neighborhoods around the city I wanted to visit, and then took the boys with me to explore them. Cole and Clegg rode happily in the back seat of the car, and were both very easy to manage on-leash in every park and neighborhood we visited together. We walked and walked and walked for hours each day, without them ever rejecting an opportunity to get out and get to steppin'. The more we walked, the more they slept at home while I worked or watched TV. They were wonderful, sweet, cuddly companions to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed each and every minute of my stay with them!

Your house was a pleasure to relax in, too. It feels like a "model house" that a newly-developed gated community would use to show potential home buyers what their houses could be like, or that a TV show would use to give desperate homeowners an idea of what they could do to make their homes both aesthetically appealing and designed with a nod to pragmatic usage. I so appreciated that every time I opened a kitchen cabinet or kitchen drawer, everything was neat and tidy and clean. It was easy to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of your home, and your high level of cleanliness and organization made staying in your home like some sort of spa retreat. No mess to add stress to one's existence. Sweeping up the leaves that fell from your beautiful trees was meditative, and walking in and around your residential neighborhood with the boys was very relaxing. I never thought I would so enjoy walking through a cemetery, but the cemetery down the street from your home is so quiet (obviously ;-)) and has so many gorgeous trees in it that we walked through it nearly every day during one of our many daily walks.

Thank you again for the opportunity to care for Cole and Clegg and stay in your home during your travels. It was a complete joy!
