We loved every minute of our week with Monty! Kat and James' house is absolutely stunning, in a beautiful location perfect for walks, and Monty is the sweetest dog. He's very active and super friendly and cuddly, and was just as happy to play for hours or chill nearby while we worked from home. Would housesit here again in a heartbeat!
Elly Mae was the best companion a person could ask for. She is very obedient, loves playing ball, and smart, she is just so smart, I almost believed she understood every word I said. Becky and Earl were very gracious hosts. I am hoping our paths will cross again in the future.
This pet and house sit was just brilliant. I first did this in May and was asked to go back in June. Didn’t have to think too long or hard about that answer. Suzan was very easy going, friendly, generous and accommodating. The 4 cats were a delight to look after. Coming and going as they pleased. They were relaxed and all friendly and loved a pat or cuddle. I had the use of Suzan’s pushbike which was lots of fun to explore the area on. The house is fantastic, and only a short and beautiful walk over the bridge to the village. I took photos from the bridge daily. Stunning area. I would recommend this pet and house sit and hope I can go back again next year.
My partner Matt and I absolutely loved looking after Kima and Kali in Overton. Grainne and Oli were so lovely and we were able to communicate easily throughout. It's a great location, beautiful home and gorgeous animals we couldn't have asked for a nicer week.
Nikki and Susan and their boys are still one of my favourite sits so far, and that's out of some wonderful experiences!!! The beautiful space and energy in the home is fantastic with three stories, lots of light, loving, positive personalities all around, and just an overall delight. Nikki and Susan are smart, cool, and kind while the boys are happy, expressive, affectionate, and aware almost like children. I missed them a lot after I left!!! Be sure to keep anything out of reach at puppy level (again they're smart and curious like children) like plastic bags which might be perceived as treats. The train station is a ten to fifteen minute walk during the day, the supermarket is super close by, and the tv options there are awesome. If you need a cab Glasgow Go cabs as an app is great like Uber (something Nikki kindly showed me) and they were so generous with their hearts, home, family, time and sharing their extraordinary Scottish culture. If you like to get work done in the home especially, or are a tv fanatic like myself, you'll love it. If you have a car, that's amazing. I didn't and I was able to get into the city occasionally but so enjoyed spending time with this wonderful family. Miss them lots. If you get a chance to give these little pups love, they'll stay in your heart forever. Enjoy!
I absolutely LOVED sitting for Ann, as soon as I arrived she was so warm and fun and made me feel really welcome! She gave me a really helpful tour and overview of everything I needed for my stay. Ollie is a truly gorgeous cat and stole my heart straight away, although he isn't a lap cat he loves some affection and regularly came to me throughout the day for some head scratches or to play with his ribbon toy. It was hard to say goodbye to that little face! The area is quiet and peaceful and felt very safe. I wholeheartedly recommend and hope to sit for Ann and Ollie again in the future!
