Jacqui and Matt were really welcoming and chatty, their home is gorgeous surrounded by farmland in a lovely rural setting. Dogs Czenya and Caesar are just such fun, both have their own characters and are very affectionate and obedient. Wogan the cat appears for a snuggle on your lap and for food but otherwise she is out, so very easy to take care of. We would definitely recommend this sit and look forward to heading back later in the year for more furry cuddles.
This stay is wonderful, Julie is so nice and responsive. The house is absolutely gorgeous and most importantly, the dogs are so loving and easy to care for!
We loved sitting for Skipper while Cindy and Mike were away from their beautiful home. They are fabulous hosts and communication was great. Skipper is one of our all time favorite dogs! She is fun and funny and loves to be around people all the time without being needy. She is as quiet as a mouse, and she only barks to let you know if someone is near the house. We do hope to visit and sit for Skipper in the future!

Thank you for the wonderful time in Middelburg! The contact with Margreet before my arrival was very open, very friendly and uncomplicated and very hospitable. Before she left, we had a delicious meal together. I was curious about her beautiful old house on the edge of the old town of Middelburg and was not disappointed. It is beautifully renovated and bears Margreet's personal signature. To help me find my way around quickly, she had put together a complete folder with everything I needed to know. But the nicest thing: Tama, my host. I have never sat a cat who was so responsive to people and communicated with them. Of course, he was still a bit shy on the first day, but from the second day on he sought my closeness - and since I had a knee injury, then the lockdown came and I was at home a lot, we lay on the sofa and enjoyed the time together. Meaning: Me on the sofa and Tama either on my belly or on my legs :-) As I'm still in the Netherlands for a while, I will definitely visit Margret again and say goodbye to her personally. I can highly recommend this housesitting and will be happy to come again!
We had a fantastic time with Rooibos and Laemiki. Singleton is a beautiful little place with some stunning views of the Sussex Downs and walks right on the doorstep, it also has the Weald and Downland living museum 2 mins walk away and we really enjoyed the day there spent walking through historical England. Rooibos and Laemiki were the best, they are both big characters but super easy to look after and we loved having a cuddle with them on an evening. Sally couldn’t have been nicer, she made us feel so welcomed into her stunning home, communication was really easy before and during the sit. I would highly recommend this sit to any future house-sitters, you won’t regret it! Thanks again Sally, Rooibos and Laemiki 🙂
