I very much enjoyed looking after Pablo and Kanye for a weekend. They are very friendly cats. Pablo sometimes talked to me and loved to cuddle on the sofa. Kanye liked to follow me and he often showed me the food place;-) Both loved to play. Julia is great, very friendly and gave me clear instructions. Her apartment is really cosy and the roof terrace is fantastic. I hope I can do another sit for Julia in the future.
This was a fabulous sit and a little bit special. Communication with Barbara was very good, from the first video call to emails in the run up to our arrival. Barbara provided very comprehensive notes on both pet care and house maintenance information. We received a warm welcome from both Barbara and Mike (closely followed by the dogs!). Mike walked us round the property and talked us through everything we needed to know, including the Stiga which is used to tow the muck trailer. The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable; we had stunning weather and spent the majority of our time when not out walking with the dogs either in the sun room overlooking the garden and fields or in the garden itself. The dogs are a joy; extremely affectionate, well behaved and love cuddling up on the sofa with you. They love their walks and are forward going allowing us to really explore the area. They also loved coming down to the field when we were on pony duties. F and The Munchkins are very easy to care for and will greet you with a whinny (basically shouting ‘feed us’ 😁) Location wise you’re right in the New Forest, with miles of walking/biking from the doorstep. Lyndhurst is a few miles away and has a couple of small supermarkets, butcher, bakery etc so has everything you may need. Overall, we felt like we were on holiday and would highly recommend. If diaries align we’d definitely like to do another sit in the future. Thank you Barbara and Mike for inviting us into your home. We miss the dogs already.
Absolutely loved staying at Candice’s place and looking after her beautiful little fur babies! Leila and Cici are so sweet and everything went really smoothly. Candice was really responsive and happy to help with any questions. I would absolutely love to stay again.
Rachel was a lovely, hospitable host and her kitties were a dream to look after!
Talita's apartment is centrally located, nicely furnished, very clean and has everything one could need. There are bakeries and grocery stores nearby. Talita was always available for questions during the sit which was very helpful. Clo was very easy to care for. She is an incredibly sweet cat, affectionate from the first minute, curious and playful. She likes company and is happy if you spend a lot of time with her. Which I was more than happy to do because the weather in Berlin was cold and rainy anyway on this long November weekend. Highly recommended for someone who is willing to spend a lot of time with Clo!
Best sit yet. Great house, very comfortable and can walk Emily around the farm without the danger of going on roads or meeting other dogs. She's a very docile dog and lies around the house or garden most of the day moving only when you move. Cat Bean also has lovely nature and will sit on your knee in the evening even if uninvited. Purrs loudly. The surroundings are lovely and there is plenty to keep you busy in the area. Very enjoyable.
