Emma
We had a fantastic stay with Boots in Hudson! Emma and Dom are a wonderful, kind, and generous couple that made us feel absolutely welcome and connected throughout our stay. We had everything we needed for an easy stay, and their clean, beautiful home was a delight to relax in, away from the bustle of the city. Boots was a blast and we enjoyed every minute of our time with her. We went for long walks on the property and hikes in the area, laughed by the minute at her big personality, and enjoyed her snores and snuggles in the evening! Her playful nature and delight in her personal pond were incredibly endearing. We are looking forward to our next visit and would absolutely recommend this sit! Thank you, Emma and Dom!

We can't say enough about this wonderful family. They were extremely hospitable, kind and easy to get on with. Alex, the head of the family... (the dog) was a delight to serve alongside Queen of the castle Tigger (the cat). We enjoyed mini adventures with Alex around the beautiful area almost daily, be it on 2 feet or 4 wheels he was always happy to go out for an explore.
The chateau is everything you would expect it to be; comfortable, well equipped, and beautiful. We loved the gardens, walking paths, and don't get us started on the gym- it certainly helps counteract the cheese and bread intake!
Jo amd Andrew were happy to communicate regularly throughout the sit and we felt like we made great friends from a far.
Our only con is.... writing this review! We want to do all their housesits!

Valerie
I was a sitter for Valerie beginning on January 23, 2022. Valerie is a very cordial person and my time in her house near Yellowstone Park was a visit to a true "Winter Wonderland". Her pets (6 cats and 1 dog) are all very gentle and good natured. Valerie's home is a well maintained 2 bedroom house in a development between the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. She has deer, foxes, squirrels and an amazing assortment of birds and other animals that frequent her back yard effectively making her back window a nature observation post.

Unfortunately, one of Valerie's cats fell ill just before my arrival and Valerie was forced to abandon her vacation plans. She generously offered to allow my to use her home as a base for some sight-seeing excursions, which enabled me to explore the nearby parks.

I would heartily recommend this sit to anyone who loves animals and enjoys nature.

Morgane & Romain
Pet sitting for Kiki and Chewbie was super nice for many reasons, and I would highlight the wonderful personality of the cats, the peaceful and gentle atmosphere, and Morgane's loving energy.

I could sense it from the start, when I saw the pics of the cats, that it would be a fun and unique experience to sit for these cute smart kitties.

Kiki and Chewbie are beautiful cats, their appearance is stunning and so are their hearts. They are both very intelligent, communicative, and interactive. They welcomed me in the house right away, and we felt comfortable with each other during the whole stay.

They both are calm and independent cats, yet absolutely love attention -they will let you know when! They reeeally enjoy to be petted and brushed, it is so nice to see how pleasurable it is for them :) They will also indicate when they want to be outside to get some views and fresh air, or when it is time to play.

The cats have different schedules: Kiki is more around during the day/afternoon and Chewbie during the evening/night. I found this perfect, as I was able to give them both equally dedicated attention. They also have quite different natures. I found Kiki more social and sensitive, she was always around during my home working hours, occasionally sitting on top of my arms which I found lovely. I found Chewbie more independent and playful.

I was told that the girls liked to chase each other and that this could sometimes end in a "soft fight". Fortunately, during the 10 days that I stayed in the house there was no tense interaction between them (even though one can clearly tell that Chewbie enjoys the chasing much more than Kiki :P). They both behave really well and are super cool and easy going cats.

The house is perfectly comfortable: great mattress, ample and luminous working space, balcony with lovely sunset and afternoon/evening sun, spacious and modern bathroom with bath tube (quite unique in this city), and fully equipped kitchen. Also nice deco and plants.

The neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful and quiet, ideal to walk around, with charming houses next to the canal and the gorgeous Westerpark close by!

Communication with Morgane and Romain was perfect. I felt trusted from day one and cared for too :) They have an amazing Welcome Guide that covers the cats personalities, needs and routines, which I found really useful. They were very kind to give me a house tour the day before the sit and I'm happy to have met the whole family.

Thank you so much for this lovely experience. I recommend this sit 100%

Jeff
Kristi and Jeff were such kind and accommodating hosts. I felt so welcomed and nicely set up at their lovely place. During my stay, Kristi and Jeff were always reachable and responded immediately if I had any questions. Their two cats, Claire and Cooper were easy to love and care for. It took Cooper 2-3 days longer to trust but then he also really started to enjoy to snuggle and to get chin scratches. I enjoyed their company so much and miss them since I left.

The apartment is spacious, has a huge balcony with a lovely sunset view and has everything one needs to feel comfortable. The location is also great with quick access to supermarkets, fantastic restaurants, public transport and the beautiful Lotus Pond.

I would definitely recommend this sit to future petsitters. Thanks Kristi and Jeff for this opportunity!
