Robin
It was a delight to meet Robin and Dave at their home and to have the lovely, well mannered buddy as my companion and confidant for two wonderful weeks. The neighbours and community that Dave and Robin are a part of are outgoing, friendly and generous. From this very quiet place I had easy access to interesting local towns and numerous outdoor activities. Their gardens are full of wonderful vegetables and flowers and the home is easy to manage and to navigate. Both lively and expressive conversationalists, Robin and Dave welcome everyone with kindness and laughter. They are well prepared, thorough and unobtrusive. It was a pleasure to visit and care for their home and family. Many thanks and continued safe travels.

Lorna
We had a lovely stay at Lorna and Noel’s. They were extremely welcoming and have a lovely house and pets. It’s a really nice village where they live with a nice dog walk right on the door step.

Elodie
Elodie is a great host and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend house sitting for her in the future! Yumi the cat is very independent, but also friendly, easy-going and sweet. Their home is also in a special location with much to enjoy right outside the doorstep. Thank you for a wonderful house sit, we hope to meet Yumi again someday!

Pam and Simon
This was a lovely sit. Pam and Simon are a very friendly couple who made us feel comfortable in their charming home as soon as we arrived. Everything was clearly arranged and we were very happy to meet Bowie, their cheerful young Labrador and the three Maine Coon cats - a first for us. The cats look positively majestic and are very chatty and affectionate. Coby, Willow and Chester spent most of their time outdoors and popped in regularly to have a fur brush, stroke and feed. Easy!

Young Bowie is a delightful dog. He was very well behaved off-lead, with good recall. He’s quite strong so sometimes requires a firm hand when on a lead. He loves a ball or stick but we kept that to a minimum, following Pam’s advice, to make sure he enjoyed roaming and bouncing around rather than staying focused on a ball. Delightful! He’s great for a cuddle and loves a bone while you’re out for lunch.

Our walks in the surrounding area with Bowie were through buttercups, wild garlic and cow parsley fields, and across pretty streams. Absolutely stunning. We also usually ended up at a welcoming pub as the local villages are so picturesque.

Thanks Pam and Simon. Recommended!

Anja
Anja is a wonderful host and made me feel right at home. She provided clear care instructions for Charlie and was easily accessible during their absence.
The house is beautiful and it is evident that a vibrant, loving family resides in it. The house is stocked with anything you may need for an enjoyable stay. My bed was very comfortable and the bedroom has good blackout curtains for those of you who like midday naps. 🙂
Ellicott City is a quaint town yet has a vibrant downtown with plenty of restaurants and other points of interest. The neighborhood is beautiful and laden with paved walking trails which are great for Charlie's walks, though a car is quite necessary for getting anywhere else.
Charlie is a sweet, loving dog. He is very chill and friendly. If you take him for his walks, let him out to the backyard, and feed him treats, he is content and spends the rest of the time sleeping. He is a great communicator and lets you know what he wants gently yet clearly.
I am looking forward to my next sit at the Dunphys next week!

Lauren
Bailey is a lovely dog and immediately enjoyed our company the moment we stepped into the house! The walks with her were really fun, as she is well-trained and responsive to commands.

Lauren and Mike were very easy to deal with and answered all of our questions quickly and competently. They gave us the feeling of really being welcome at their house!

We recommend Lauren and Mike to everyone!
