Franklin and Chantal were such wonderful house and pet sitters! They sent sweet pictures to let me know all was well, took such excellent care of my 3 dogs, and left the place spotless upon departure! I'd love to have them house and pet sit again anytime and would highly recommend them to anyone else in need of care.
I had a great 10 days with Ted. Grace sent me a handy 2 page guide with the essentials before I arrived and Grace and Jake were very welcoming and took me to a lovely local wine bar the evening I arrived. They also introduced me to their very nice neighbour which was helpful. Ted is a good natured and friendly dog and we had many a happy long walk together (he’s good off the lead). He also loved to curl up on the sofa with me in the evenings. All in all a successful trip to a beautiful area.
This housesitting was amazing and we had a great time with their dog Rufus. Rufus is a friendly and adorable dog - he follows you around the house and looks at you with his sweet big eyes. He has puppy energy, but is gentle and understands your command. It was very easy to look after him. John and Gonca were great hosts - they let us arrive the day before their departure and invited us for dinner. They were very generous with everything and made sure we had a comfortable stay - they even let us invite our friends over for brunch during our stay. Their home is spacious and has everything you need (and more). We were very happy spending time with Rufus and working from home. The house is located near some parks and trails; it was perfect to take Rufus for walks especially during the cherry blossom season. I highly recommend this sit if you enjoy spending time with an energetic and adorable dog in the lovely residential neighbourhood not far from the city center. Rufus will surely steal your heart as he did with ours!
I had a fabulous time with Pilot, a very amiable and adorable dog. He enjoyed guiding me through the neighborhood's picturesque streets filled with oak trees and beautiful gardens. The property is a very nice and serene Villa to unwind and feel at peace. Amy and her family were very welcoming. We communicated every day and if I had a question it wouldn't take her long before getting back to me. Thank you Amy for entrusting me with your home and your lovely pup. 🐶 Lesley.
Housesitting for Belinda (and Taco and the chickens) was an absolute delight. The home is spacious clean and so comfortable. The outdoor area is also lovely! Taco is the sweetest boy and the chickens were fun to take care of! If you find your way to Tucson, I definitely recommend housesitting for this lovely housesit :)
Patricia is super lovely and the flat is gorgeous - great location too. Sarabi the cat, bless her, has had a bit of a rough time with accidents but has amazingly powered through and is capable enough. Unfortunately I do think that has made her quite a capricious cat though, she’d much rather spend time by herself/independently which isn’t a problem of course, they all have her personalities! Also I did have a couple of occasions where if you brush her longer than she’d like, she did hiss/have a bite at my hand which isn’t ideal. But, once aware I just know a couple of minutes petting and tending to was enough. All in all it is a lovely sit and I would do it again, especially as I do feel like Sarabi warmed up to me towards the end of the 5 days. If you’re expecting a cuddly sit be prepared to take some time for her to warm to you 💛
I had a wonderful time sitting for Dani & Adam during their 2.5wk honeymoon! We met a few months prior to let me get acquainted with sweet Ari & I really enjoyed getting to know them while we walked around a nearby lake. They were very understanding & flexible when I contracted COVID & the flu a couple days before sitting for them. We agreed to social distancing with quick limited contact so sweet Ari wouldn't have to be alone & they would stay well for their travels. I felt comfortable & secure in their home, which is lovely & spacious. Ari is just so pouncy, fun, loving & full of energy, a great companion to be around. Ari does struggle with separation anxiety so we enjoyed running errands together a few times when I was able to take her with me, or she may have an accident in the crate if she hasn't pottied recently, so timing there might be helpful to consider but fairly easy to clean if it happens. Ari loves her toys & scaling over the couch to fetch them! Be ready for a tickle attack because her loves her face nibbles & she's very quick going between your ears, nose & chin lol! She's super loving & gentle, & she does get a little friendly & jumpy on walks at times lol! I kept a little bag of training treats so she would sit while they passed, she's a pretty good listener! I tried to send Dani & Adam a lot of pics/vids to help with them missing her, you can tell how much they all love each other. They were great communicators! Their home has everything you need mostly, but they are both tall so if you're on the shorter side, you might need a step stool haha. Overall, I had an amazing experience & would recommend this sitting for this family <3
