It’s one thing to ask a sitter to watch your home and care for your pets knowing they can just text or call you if they have questions or run into an emergency. It’s another to ask a sitter to do that when you are out of contact 90% of the time! Amanda was the perfect zeewoi to put my mind at ease knowing that both my husband and I would be unreachable most of our time away. She is self-sufficient, intelligent, organized, astute and observant, and after our initial phone chat and intro when she arrived, I felt 100% confident she could handle any situation that might arise.

Amanda took great care of our 3 cats and was also fantastic with the 3 foster kittens we are currently caring for in my office. While I had asked her up front if she felt comfortable with the additional care responsibilities, I still felt bad adding more to her plate as the kittens do require more time/attention than our 3 adult cats. Fortunately, she was willing to take on the task and I’m so appreciative of that.

She was communicative leading up to the stay, asked thoughtful questions regarding the home, cats, plants, etc, and sent cat and kitten updates even though we were off the grid much of the time. She left the house and my car immaculate.

I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda for house-sitting & pet-sitting opportunities. She is a perfect house-guest and a delightful human! We would love to host her again in the future, whether she is sitting or not!

A very pleasant house sit with Mele. Very friendly and handsome cat who enjoyed his privacy yet came around on his schedule for affection and even sat with us a few nights watching the tube. Nice private location in the heart of Baltimore where there is plenty to keep you occupied. Thank you Amy and Mele

Tom and I so loved being in Sequim. Brady was a dream cat to take care of, the house was fabulous, the location tremendous. Above all, Penny and Jim were wonderful hosts. We had a wonderful time exploring the Olympic Area, we took a scenic plane ride around the area and had one of the neighbors join us. A neighborhood BBQ was so enjoyable, and above all, we were in Sequim during the huge snow storm of recent years which created some beautiful scenery. We would love to return to Sequim again and we thank Penny and Jim so much for their friendship and kindness.

This was a great house/animal "sit" in a beautiful picturesque village. The dogs, Tanga and Reggie, were sweet in nature, well behaved and had excellent recall when not on leash. Emma and Rory were wonderful hosts and made us feel comfortable in their lovely home. Emma had prepared a detailed information package containing maps of off-leash parks as well as a list of contacts. This was very helpful. We were left very well supplied with food and all necessities. Contact with Rory and Emma was available whenever we needed.
We highly recommend this house/animal "sit" to future sitters.

Mitra and Rick were so warm, welcoming and communicative throughout - from the prompt replies to fun filled conversations before and after they left - This sit was such a treat for us!! The house is amazing, in a great location (easy to explore Portland on foot). The cats were easy and a joy to care for: George was poorly and needed extra tlc but that just makes you love him even more. We feel we made new friends 😀

Where do I start? Deborah is a great host. I arrived a day before and Deborah was very accommodating: she was flexible with arrival times, got me snacks, a delicious dinner and provided a very detailed guide for the pet sit. She also was ready to answer all my questions via text during my stay. Clara, Hugo, Freddie and Rosie kept me great company in Westborough. Clara and Hugo are a great duo: they are playful and affectionate pups, who keep each other entertained. They love their walks in town, trail hikes and doing laps in the backyard. The hike to the water reservoir is my favorite. Clara likes to know what you are doing and will follow you around the house. Hugo loves chasing squirrels and other 'wildlife'. The other iconic duo - Freddie and Rosie - if they are not napping in the 'burrow', they love to play around the upstairs office or hang out in the attic hoping to hunt mice. Freddie warms up within a day, Rosie takes a bit more time. Every now and then they will go downstairs if they are hungry or want to know what the dogs are up to. The dogs are super friendly and will give you love and attention right away. All four pets get along well and love to get treats and stare out of the backyard window. Deborah's house is a unique, beautiful, large, historic building with a spacious backyard. The house has all the modern appliances, heated floors and a wood stove. It is a quick ride away from a train station, grocery stores and Target. There is also a cool brewery within a walking distance from the house. I had a great time and will definitely apply again!
