Tiffany was the only genuine applicant for a short sit that I was desperate to fill as I needed to travel for work. My listing explained that one of my cats had serious health issues. Knowing that 2-day sits aren’t desirable I was so surprised that she wanted to come out, especially after we had our introductory Zoom call and I explained how sick my sweet baby Fizzy Fitzy was. She wasn’t concerned at all and was happy to confirm the sit. (I ended up having to put Fitzy to sleep to end his suffering before Tiffany arrived, so the sit ended up being for my one remaining cat, Dizzy Boy.) The first day of the sit Tiffany (who was complimentary about my home, which I appreciated) informed me that there was some sort of leak under my kitchen sink. Her messages were calm and kind. She even went to buy plumber’s tape and fixed it! I tried to be helpful arranging a ride to the store and offering to pay for expenses incurred but Tiffany was undemanding and generous with her time. I was very stressed out, not least because any unforeseeable problem on such a short sit will eat into the sitter’s limited time to enjoy being here, the pool and other amenities, etc., but Tiffany didn’t complain. She even sent me a photo of her playing with Dizzy. Tiffany went far above and beyond in cleaning up (our building was going to spend 8 days without running water, starting the night I got back, so it was beyond helpful to come home to such a clean house) and replacing food items (not something I expected at all, so considerate). I was heartbroken after losing Fitzy and despondent at the thought of leaving Dizzy just then, even for a couple days, so I was very grateful that Tiffany chose to take on this sit. (When I drove her to her next stay she even offered to let me shower there if I needed to during the water shutoff, so kind.) Thank you Tiffany.

I had such a wonderful time taking care of Minky ❤️ She has got a wonderful character: she is social yet self-sufficient, quite, lovable and soooo playful! Despite her respectable age, Minky adores her play time, especially after some scratching therapy :)

Besides, the house itself is amazing: tidy, spacious, well-designed and located in the best area in London!
Thank you for this experience :)

What a lovely sit! Steve and Joyce have a lovely home with the most gorgeous two red labs who stole our hearts! Hazel and Olive are beautifully behaved with an abundance of personality! A ball is the most important thing to Hazel and once you start you can't stop! Being mother and daughter they have a endearing bond and like nothing better than lying next to you on the floor getting a belly rub! The chickens, ducks and quails are very easy to look after and both Steve and Joyce run through everything in detail. Thank you for letting us sit it was a privilege!

I still don't have words to describe the experience I had during this time...
Mark picked me up from the train station, and we immediately got along great. Cate had prepared a delicious homemade dinner with wine, etc., and we had a very fun and familial evening together (Cate, Mark, Cates dad and me).
The next morning, Mark showed me everything in detail. I wrote down all the tasks to make sure I didn't forget anything, but in the end, there wasn't really much to do. The farm animals were very well-behaved and sweet; they just needed to be fed and let in and out. Teddy, Tilly, Maddie, and Jacques are four very special dogs. They're incredibly loving and playful, and you can just see how well they're cared for by Mark and Cate. The dogs listened to me right away and were always by my side. I loved finding a cozy spot in the huge garden and simply enjoying nature, unwinding, and petting the dogs.
I really feel like I've found new friends in Mark and Cate, and we've already agreed that I'll visit them again. I'm really looking forward to it. Thank you, Cate, Mark, Teddy, Tilly, Maddie, and Jacques, and everyone else, for all the indescribable moments. I will never forget this time.❤️

I had such a great time with Neko on this sit! I was completely shocked by how cuddly he is— he definitely wins my “most loving pet” award! Neko was super low maintenance and loved just hanging out with me and getting belly rubs.

Amanda and Sam were also lovely to work with. They communicated everything I needed to know before the sit, made it super easy to arrive and leave around their schedule, and their home was immaculate. It’s the perfect place to work remotely and is conveniently located to enough shops that I didn’t even need a car. Would happily come back any time!

Lisa and family's home is a great sit, especially if you love the country/forest settings. I was fortunate to be able to sit for their home and animals and enjoy some wonderful time in nature. Lisa and I communicated regularly and she was great about helping me whenever I had a question. She gave me good tips especially when dealing with the goats, and I felt their care and support throughout my stay. They have goats, dogs and chickens so you won't ever be lonely. The goats needed feeding and letting in and out daily while the dogs come and go from the house and love to play. I enjoyed that they had invisible collars that kept them in check for me and also allowed for me to set one when I needed the kitchen to myself, etc. They sleep in their own spots away from the upstairs and bedroom so there was plenty of privacy while sleeping. The master bedroom was very comfortable with a nice view, beautiful shower/tub (even with heated floors++) and a wonderfully large and comfortable mattress. Besides the island itself, there were many things to do at their home, including playing with the dogs in the yard, trampoline, swim spa, hiking in the woods out the back door, etc. I was able to hike a few times and the forest is well marked with extensive trails so it was a nice reprieve. I work from home so it there was plenty of space to sit, while enjoying the great views of the property. It is well kept with a nice, large lawn and woods with views all around. The large forest is out the back door so it is like having your own nature reserve. Vashon Island is a magical place that will transport you in time. The neighbors I met were very friendly, along with the people I met in town. It is also a great spot for artist lovers with with galleries and the cutest town ever. I would recommend doing a sit for them if you can! :) Sandra

An absolutely brilliant stay looking after Fred and Ginger for the week, such sweet and affectionate cats that were a joy to be around :)

Jo and Geoff are truly lovely people, and their beautiful home is the perfect place to relax, with great connections to the surrounding area of Bicester, can’t recommend sitting for them enough!
