I absolutely adored looking after Phoebe these past two weeks. She is probably one of the sweetest cats I have ever looked after. She loves cuddles and sitting on my lap whilst I work. Nicola was such a friendly host with a gorgeous home. The whole sit was super easy and relaxing and almost felt like a holiday! I would 100% look after Phoebe again!

This was my first ever sit through this website and it was fantastic. Beatrice and Fran are lovely people with a lovely home in such a great location not far from the city. It's a cosy house with all the comforts you'd expect, even though B&F had just moved into it during the height of Covid when it was difficult to get supplies. The supermarkets are a short walk away, and there's buses into the city and/or great access by road by car. It's absolutely amazing what they've done looking after these cats. Everyone I told about this sit would say, "NINE cats?" but then I would explain the situation and they would understand the amazing heart and effort that started the whole thing. The six adults are feral, and one by one they came to B&F's house once the first couple of cats got into the habit of coming back for food. One of them had kittens which have now been completely domesticated. B&F somehow managed to get all of these cats vaccinated, chipped, and neutered despite their wild nature. The story of the day the first arrived to start this process is a novel in itself! The amount of time and effort and patience and love they've put into gaining the trust of these frightened cats is unbelievable. By the time I was there to look after them, the adults were finally comfortable with coming indoors independently through the cat flap and it was just a routine of feeding them every morning and evening and keeping their trays clean. The kittens are incredibly adorable and affectionate, and this serves to further build the trust and bond with the adults when they see how happy and comfortable the kittens are. I've done many sits before and since this one but my month with these cats will always stay with me because of the love and care that started the whole story. Beatrice and Fran had no obligation or responsibility towards any of these cats, but took it upon themselves to give them a loving home where they were guaranteed food and safety and comfort. It was a privilege to be part of that story. I am so grateful! Grazie Beatrice e Francesco :)

Bruno

Raio and Flavio are the sweetest-playful kittens! Really enjoyed spending time with these fur babies. Apartment was cozy and well located, shopping centre and transit nearby. Bruno and Abi are nice, welcoming and communicative. Lovely house sit overall ☺️❤️🏡

Jessica

I had a wonderful visit with Feta and Olive. Olive is such an adorable kitty and so clever. She is very much a cat. You need to win her affection (which I successfully did) and she gets can find her way into the tiniest of spots (she's smaller than Feta). She's extremely entertaining and, boy, is she loving once you've won her over. 

Feta is a far more easy win. He loves to have his tummy rubbed and to be brushed. If the bedroom door was kept closed, he was waiting by it whenever I opened it (eventually both of them were there). I finally gave in and left the door open for them, after gaining approval from Jessica.

Jessica is extremely easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I needed to drop things off before the start of the sit and she worked with her friend (who was sitting before me) to make those arrangements. At the end of the sit, her flight was coming in very early and she was flexible on when I would leave. It worked out that I wanted to leave early anyway, but the flexibility was appreciated.

The location is amazing. It is one block from the train station which is only a couple stations from the center of town. There's also a trolley less than a block away. The grocery and drug store are less than a block. At the same time, it is seemingly an extremely safe area. I felt perfectly comfortable walking about late at night. Restaurants abound in nearly every direction.

I would love to sit for them again if ever back in Frankfurt.

Vince & Siobhan

It was a pleasure to sit for Vince and Siobhan and would love to do so again in future! Really nice house in a lovely area, and Tess is a fun dog with a great temperament

Amy

This was an enjoyable sit with Abby and Sophie.  Both are good with meeting someone new, and are open to petting soon after meeting them.  They are also interested in and willing to play right away too.  The home is nice, clean and orderly with good privacy lending itself to relaxing and settling in with the cats.  It's also in a good location close to public transit and shopping.  Amy made doing the sit smooth and seamless, as well as putting together a good guide covering everything relevant to the cats and the home.  Communication with Amy was also good, and she expressed a genuine interest in making the sit comfortable which I very much appreciate.
