We had a great stay at Sophie's place! The cats, Frank & Lily, were very easygoing and and loved all the hugs from our three boys. Sophie was a great host - really welcoming and friendly with excellent communication. She has a beautiful and comfortable family home in Clapham that is close to shops both on Abbeville Rd and Clapham High Street and also close to Clapham Common. We would recommend to anyone and we have locked in another sit for her already.
What a pleasure to spend a month with sweet Lola! I loved our long walks every day through the Dulwich Woods and in Crystal Palace Park, meeting lots of friendly dogs and people along the way, then spending time at home while Lola curled up nearby, affectionate and content in the living room. She is a lovely companion! Great communication from Evy including a two hour briefing and walk several days before the sit, an overlap at the house on the day of their departure, quick answers to any questions, and friendly responses to my daily photos and updates. We’re planning to go for a walk together with Lola now that they’re back in town! House was very comfortable, just across the street from the park, and 15 min walk or 5 min bus to The Triangle (shops, cafes, restaurants). Easy to get to three train stations and well served by buses. Highly recommend. I’d love to housesit for Lola again!
Hi, I have just spent a week in the lovely little village of Chilsworthy, just minutes up the road from Gunnislake train station. Glenis and Rob were so very helpful, hospitable and kind, Glenis even baked me a delicious vegan pie for my arrival. Rusty and Scampie their wee pets, absolutely delightful, and love their home. The Inn just five houses up the road also were very hospitable and welcoming even offered to drive me to the village if I had wanted to. I wish Glenis and Rob all the very best for their next holiday and for their projects, Glenis is a wonderful artist and Rob a muso with a passion for playing with his friends, they each have their own studios separate from the house which is ideal. Thanks again Glenis and Rob for a great opportunity to rest and recupe in your corner of the world.
We had a lovely time in Cambridge looking after Loki who was a very friendly gentle giant! Nicola, Clive and family were really organised and welcoming. The communication before and during the sit was excellent and Nicola shared a brilliant and detailed welcome guide with us. Their home is beautiful and there's plenty of local shops and cafes a short walk away. We particularly enjoyed visiting the mosque which is nearby and very welcoming to visitors who want to pop along to see the garden and beautiful architecture inside and out. Highly recommend. We had a really relaxing time and discovered some new favourite games - Kingdomino forever! We loved playing with Loki and his scrunchy ball toys and chilling in his home. We would absolutely recommend this sit and would be delighted to return if we get the chance :)
I had such a lovely time with Leches and Pepita, they made the best cuddle sandwich in bed. They were absolute sweeties, very well behaved and very easy to take care of. Reina and Kai were very responsive whenever I had questions. It was helpful to get an intro to the plant care and I enjoyed tending to them almost as much as Leches and Pepita. The neighborhood where the house is in is charming, great to walk around and in walking distance to shops and parks. It was a wonderful place and gang of creatures to sit for a week!
Alli was very considerate and friendly. She made us feel welcome, made super easy signs throughout the house, and was communicative. Dogs are super easy. They go in and out of the doggie door and get fed 2x/d. Super easy sit. Alli let us use her car also. Very helpful. We left some bread in the corner of the kitchen...our mistake...when Alli says they will eat anything they can possibly get to she is being honest and nothing left out is safe. Otherwise dogs are super easy and pleasant to be around. We would come back for sure!
