Ally was a fantastic cat sitter....she was super friendly, very conscientious, attentive to detail and what needed to be done. She kept us up to date with photos of Leon and looked after him really well. the house was also very clean and tidy on our return. Really reliable and fully trustworthy. We'd fully recommend her as we were delighted.
We had a wonderful sit with Fredo & Luka, two of the sweetest silliest tiniest pups! William & Brandon were super sweet and accommodating and we feel like we've made new friends! Fredo & Luka are a bit timid at first, bit once they "choose" you, there's no turning back. With Luka's blindness (he navigates the house and the backyard like a pro), he is verbal as play and it's the cutest thing ever! Fredo will fly through the house and grab a toy to play "chase" with and Luka barks along the way. They are very affectionate and will curl up beside you on the couch - when invited - for a relaxing evening watching TV. The neighborhood is a great urban neighborhood close to lots of restaurants and grocery stores. Being from Oakland and having lived there for 20 years, it was the perfect place to "come home to'! We would definitely sit for Fredo & Luka again!
Punkin and Mosby, I miss you! I had a fabulous time hanging out with these two darling kitties while Tony and Apryl were away in Italy. They were so easy to take off, and extremely affectionate. Mosby warmed up to me immediately upon my arrival, and Punkin became my best buddy within a day! Tony and Apryl were easy to communicate with, and responsive to all my questions. They left clear instructions about everything, and I appreciated that very much. They have a lovely home that any house sitter would be lucky to stay in. I would gladly return in the future. Highly recommended!
Wonderful sit at Olivia’s. The house was lovely and the cats were easy to look after. The house is in a great location and very comfortable. I was there in the summer and the kitchen has large doors which open out to the garden which was amazing to sit out on a summers night. The cats were great and curious. Easy to look after and good company. Olivia was warm and showed me around before my sit. We kept in touch throughout the stay. Would recommend.
Although Sapphy is a very independent cat she follows you around everywhere and she is a wonderful companion. She loved hanging out in the garden in a shade spot when the weather was nice and sunny or just observed me whilst watering the plants. She definitely let me know when she was hungry :) and my favourite moments were when she sat at the edge of the bed by my feet or when she came to say hi to my colleagues whilst we were having a Zoom call. She has extraordinary energy and she is very agile being seventeen. I was really amazed how she jumped and moved around with a piece of string I had her to chase around the house :) Nigel was a delight as a host. He was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire sit. He was very generous and made me feel so welcoming on my arrival with homemade bread from a beautiful local bakery. During the sit, Nigel's plans slightly changed and had to spent one night at home. He always made me feel like I was at my house when we coincided on that day. Nigel's house was lovely, very comfortable and with a gorgeous garden which it was such a treat to be able to sit outside and enjoy as the weather was sunny an warm. And having Sapphy around made it even better. Stoke Newington is a lovely area full of independent stores which makes the neighborhood special, Clissold Park and Hackney Marshes are nice places to go for a walk and buses and the overground are very convenient to reach the city center. I would highly recommend this sit and would love to go back to look after Sapphy! Thank you Nigel and Sapphy for a wonderful stay!
Amanda and Colin’s house sit was probably one of our fondest to date. For the simple reasons: They are both such wholesome people. Kind and caring. Doogle and Smidge are very calm pets. Doogle is 11 years old and became attached to my hip. Where I went, he followed… with many children I am used to this so another little shadow is no issue and quiet endearing. Smidge is a cat I wanted to take with me and keep! She is adorable! She loves to cuddle and would rub her little head against ours purring. Their routine is very easy. Doogle was on antibiotics and an ear medication which won’t be needed in the futures but thought I would add he dealt with it all very well. It wasn’t hard for him or us to administer. The daily walks were our families highlight. The paths are easy for toddlers all the way to adults. And we couldn’t resist the park play everyday too. Doogle is a good boy who doesn’t pull on the leash at all. Communication with Amanda and Colin was always quickly responsive, kind and positive. We highly recommend this sit and would love to come back in the future. We miss the pets terribly! Love the Clanfield 7 xxxxxxx
