Greg and Sally were just great. We didn’t have a great deal of face to face contact but everything went fantastically well. We even stayed away an extra night thanks to Greg and Sally. Max and Ruby loved their company. The contact prior to the sit and during the sit was great. The house was spotless on our return. A flawless sit. Maybe one day we can meet up again in New Zealand. Francisca & Francisco

We had arranged a last minute house/pet sit with Francisca and Francesco and they were really accommodating and flexible. So lucky that they were interested in staying in the area on their time off! Their experience with pets really shows in the way they cared for our pup Kiri, she's a picky eater so they provided good updates on her food pretty regularly, daily as we'd requested then when we got busy at least on every other day. They even unprompted bathed her as she'd gotten really dirty while playing. I didn't go over grooming the pup with them as we were only gone 2 weeks, but as for her happiness and well being, the photos and videos we got regularly evidenced just how carefully attentive they were. They showed to be handling things well and taking initiative to care for our precious pup, taking her on their own exploration around the town. Also found they followed house instruction as well as cleaning up and after themselves. Considering everything, was really grateful for their patience and communication. Really good experience with the both of them, lovely kind and warm people and hope to see them by our town again soon!

Tracy was a reliable, kind and efficient sitter for Hettie. She looked after my house and watered my many pots in the garden. Everything was clean and tidy and Hettie happy on my return.

Huia & Max

Huia and Max were so incredible and they were such lifesavers when our other housesitters had to back out of a 3 month sit with only 2 weeks notice. It was clear from our first video chat that they would be the perfect pair to come and take care of our pets and house for such a long duration. They provided us with the reassurance we needed that they had the experience and responsibility to take care of everything. They went above and beyond and left everything even better than when they arrived. Our dog Mowgli who has a history of reactivity, aggression and over-excitement in certain situations was perfectly well cared for and managed throughout their stay. We were even more anxious about leaving him, as he had undergone emergency abdominal surgery just before Huia and Max arrived but they had no problem navigating his medical needs as he healed, his (many) allergies and medications on the day to day. Once he was fully healed they were able to give him lots of great outdoor adventures to keep him fit, healthy and mentally stimulated. Huia has an amazing green thumb and left our 70+ indoor plants and front and backyard/ flower beds looking incredible, she was even kind enough to plant some trees we had intended to before we left. Their communication throughout was great, very responsive and gave us updates and photos/ videos of Mowgli whenever we requested. They were also kind enough to take us to the ferry when we left, pick us up from the airport and have a lovely dinner waiting for us upon arriving back after a very long journey. Our fish was also well taken care of! ❤️ We’re so appreciative of the time, energy, care and love they gave to our house, property and our pets! Anyone needing a reliable, friendly and responsible couple to look after your home or pets these are your people!

Jo and Dave are exactly what you would want in a house/pet sitter. Friendly, approachable and reliable with great communication- my dog fell in love with them instantly. My partner and I got regular updates of all her antics- we were anxious going abroad and using a housesitter for the first time, but Jo and Dave immediately put us at ease and we’re so grateful. Cannot recommend highly enough- I’d have them to visit again in a heartbeat!

They were super friendly and we had an instead sense of trust upon first meeting them, while we were away they gave us updates and photos, when we returned they had left our home in a clean and tidy state. We left the house confident the dogs and house were in the best of hands. While away, we received lovely messages and photos showing very happy dogs. And on return we found everything so clean and tidy and the dogs had obviously been given the best of care - lots of love and walks. It was such a great experience! Since I apply, I felt like Christie was really warm and nice with me. Everything works really well in terms of organisation and then while I was there was perfect! She and her family gave me a warm welcome and the house was beautiful. Finn was such an amazing dog and partner to be with! We play, we nap, we walk a lot and it was really nice!
