Had a wonderful time with Aki in Bronte. Aki is a very sweet dog with a gentle nature. He loves to be around people and will often walk up to strangers and sit beside them looking up at them for a pat :) He's great on lead and off, and enjoyed his twice daily walks along the sea cliffs and promenade. He barely left my side, slept next to me as I worked and slept beside or on the bed with me at night. He's a real sweetheart 🥰 Shanna is very warm, generous and accommodating and made me feel right at home. Her house is minutes from Bronte beach and the Waverley Cemetery, which is prime Aki-walking territory. Communication was clear and always welcome and the house itself was well appointed and spacious. Thanks again Shanna and Aki, I hope to see you again soon!

We enjoyed Candace and Will’s comfortable home for the few days that we stayed there caring for Mia and Jasper. The cats took a bit of time to warm up to us but soon were comfortable enough to hang out with us in the guest bedroom. Jasper for his part at times was overly playful with Mia and she would seek out a private hiding spot to escape him. With us, both cats were gentle and friendly. Communication with the pet parents was great and we also enjoyed the proximity to the downtown Charleston sites and many commercial places to shop and eat. The welcome guide that was provided included many suggestions of places to see/visit and was very helpful. Overall we highly recommend this sit and appreciated the opportunity to enjoy two cute kitties!
Annette and Leon were very hospitable and kind. I met them a few months before the sit, via FaceTime, and then went to visit the home the evening before they departed for their trip to get familiarized with the pets and the house. They made dinner for me and my partner, and were extremely gracious. The pets are lovely and very well behaved. Shnuddy is such a sweet dog, and the cats all have different personalities. It took a couple of them some time to warm up to me but by the end they would all come to me and beg for attention. I was provided with enough food and other pet supplies to last the duration of the trip. I was given the option of using either the guest or the master bedroom. I used the guest room, and I was very comfortable. I had room to unpack and space in the closet to hang clothing. The house was very clean and inviting and I enjoyed seeing all the souvenirs they had collected on their travels. The view from the backyard is beautiful. Annette and Leon have a beautiful garden and the home backs up to a canal, so i really enjoyed sitting outside when it wasn’t too hot. Overall, this housesitting experience was wonderful and I hope to be able to sit for them in the future!
Joy and Rob gave me very detailed instructions and loads of very useful recommendations so my boyfriend and I could explore the local area a bit. Shrewsbury is gorgeous! Ezzy is a very easy cat to look after. She is both adventurous and affectionate. Joy and Rob are great people. I highly recommend them to pet sitters.
It was such a pleasure to have met Ann. She has lovely warm home, on a beautiful island. Marcus is a dream dog that you play with on the beach. The two kitties are full of personality and fun. Ann left clear and full info on pet care and house instructions. Neighbors are so welcoming and made us feel very much at home. Was a pity to leave but a wonderful sit. Thank you Ann for inviting us.
