Our time looking after Muffin and Fennel was absolutely delightful. They are easy relaxed cats who enjoy a lap in the evening and strokes during the day. They love company and often followed us round the garden. The house and setting at Jeni and Hamish's are a dream - right by the river with lots of birdlife. We even saw a kingfisher on occasion. The thatched house is gorgeous. There's lots of space. We enjoyed spending our time downstairs in the magnificent kitchen and conservatory. It snowed during our stay so the underfloor heating was an amazing bonus. Hamish and Jeni are lovely cheerful people who looked after us well. Jeni cooked us a delicious dinner when we arrived and we went over all the housesitting notes thoroughly. It really is a gorgeous housesit. You will love it there. We certainly did and we're so grateful to have met Muffin and Fennel in their beautiful home. Thank you
My daughter and I stayed at Cath and her husband's house in April 2023 and took care of their 5 wonderful animals. We had a very nice time there and we felt very comfortable. The house is cozy and has everything you could need, the area there is beautiful and the animals are very great animals. It was a lovely time and I highly recommend the sitting and would do it again myself anytime. Cath and her husband are very friendly and helpful people. If I had any questions Cath was always available for me.
Stella is such a good dog. We've been missing her since finishing our sit. Although we didn't have an orientation walk through with Audrey and Charles, they gave us clear, complete instructions. On our arrival Stella greeted us excitedly, but calmed down soon. She behaved so well our entire sit. She is a good walker, and doesn't beg for food or attention, but does appreciate just being with you. At night she let us know if she thought we were staying up too late. We put her bed at the foot of ours, and didn't hear from her until morning. The house is well appointed, comfortable, in a great location, and, despite having a baby live there, immaculately clean. We would definitely sit for Audrey, Charles and Stella again.
It was a real pleasure to look after Asher. She is a very loveable, and clever I just need to follow her to see all the walk around. The house is Cosy, there is a bus in the corner of the house ( 3 min walk) and it takes 20 min walk to the train station ( sanling). Many walk as : bridleway near the castle, the royal military canal, the front sea... Linda was reactive to my message and also funny sending Me a photo of a beach in the sun where she was, instead of my poor weather. Again, thank you to let me share Asher and the house.
