We had a great time at Beth and Rob's house in Leicester. They were very helpful and relaxed hosts. They were happy to make up the futon in their office for our two boys and encouraged us to make use of their great board game collection. It's always a pleasure to meet fellow Harry Potter fans and board game enthusiasts!
I hadn't visited Leicester before and thought it seemed like a very nice city - we were only there for a couple of nights but we enjoyed the fantastic climbing wall in the centre of town ("Social Climbing"). We also visited the National Space Centre which is a great family attraction - the biggest planetarium in the country apparently! The bus into town goes from right outside the house (even though it's a nice quiet road) and there's a great Co-op just round the corner for provisions.
Maisie and George are lovely cats to look after. Great fun and not shy of strangers. They didn't sit on our laps but enjoyed playing and being stroked.
