Staying at Yolanda's apartment was a joy. On arrival Yolanda was so sweet, and so organized in setting the apartment up for me. She even left little notes and lables. The apartment was spotless! Her little dog, Carmina, is also a sweetie. A happy dog, great temperment, who loves to play fetch and sit with you while your reading. Great company while I was in Copenhagen. I highly recommend this sit.
We had a lovely time spending a week in Vienna at Max’s place with Fritz and Elli! We didn’t get to meet Max but he’s organized and laid out everything to make our stay an easy, comfortable, and enjoyable one. We arrived to a clean and tidy apartment, in a great location and bonded instantly with the cats. We miss the cuddly Fritz and the playful Elli already. Highly recommended!
I sat for Hilary, Suki and Hugo for nearly four weeks in the end to help Hilary out with an extended trip than was originally planned. We chatted a couple of times via video and I really felt I’d got to know Hilary ahead of arriving. We enjoyed supper together the evening before Hilary headed off. Suki is an old girl now and walks quite slow and not far. She just needs 20 or 30 minutes to do the necessary. The walk straight from the house along a small fast flowing river was pretty and ideal. Continue on that flat path for a mile and you’d reach the sea and a pub! Hugo is also of mature years and is chatty and affectionate. Loves nothing more than a lap to cosy up on. Hilary’s house is warm, comfortable and in a great location to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. Super friendly and helpful neighbours too. All in all a great sit and a lovely month away, albeit ‘working from home’ whilst there.
This was such a beautiful housesit and we were so lucky to stay to explore some of the mid-coast region. Deborah was so welcoming and great at communicating giving helpful notes about caring for the pets. We really enjoyed our couple of days looking after Holly, Fletcher and the three cats. All the furries were very friendly (although it took Nora a little longer to feel comfortable with a stranger as she’s quite shy). It was good to get to know each of their individual characters during the course of the couple of days. They are both amazing dogs and a pleasure to look after and walk. The house is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. We also enjoyed being able to walk in the woodlands just opposite the house which were stunning especially because it was October/end of Fall. and for running. The location is great too for nipping (10-15 minute walk) into Newcastle/Damariscotta where there is a good food scene (veggie and non veggie). Thank you so much Deborah. We would highly recommend this Housesit. Natalie and Jo
We were met by three adorable dogs when we arrived at Lucinda's home in Cleish. Sukie, who is a young smooth coat dachshund with a beautiful personality and the sweetest little face; Wombie he's a short, very active little man, he's a wire-haired dachshund and last but not least, the old man of the family, a Jack Russell, named Scrumpy - who turned out to be a warm cuddly fellow who loves treats and looks like he's jogging when he runs. Lucinda and her family were very welcoming and warm to us, and have a beautiful home and wonderful big garden. We had a lovely stay, spending our days walking the younger two in the country lanes next to the house and sitting in their garden during some of the best weather we have had during our visit to Scotland. It was a wonderful sit, lovely fur-babies who we miss already and Lucinda was very kind to us, thank you again.
I had a fantastic time caring for Lucy! Once she gets to know you, she's a super sweet and affectionate cat. If you love cats you will be very happy :) Dhruv is a great host! He provided clear instructions and was helpful with any questions and concerns. And his place is in a beautiful location overlooking the bay. One small thing is that if you're a light sleeper, the nearby amtrak station sometimes has night trains with loud horns. This was no problem for me though!
