We had a great time taking care of Teddy and Lincoln… when we finally got there. Priscilla and Ben were quite supportive of our travel delays, and big kudos to their neighbor Rex, who took care of the boys before our arrival. Teddy is constantly in motion on walks wanting to sniff simply everything, and seemingly tickled about what he learns! Lincoln seems to be a dog on a mission–walking straight until he gets to his goal, not interested in much that he passes. They are both sweet, friendly pups, easy to care for, who loved their treats (cookies, as Priscilla calls them), and wanted to be near us when sleeping. They were very good dogs. The dogs are well-behaved and well-loved by their owners. The directions of what to do and when to do it for the dogs were well explained and reviewed. We had no worries about carrying for Lincoln and Teddy. Their apartment, a temporary situation, was wonderful. The bed was comfy, with good pillows and a great comforter to keep us warm on some very rainy nights in SF. The place was very clean and tidy and easy to keep that way. We were left juice, tea, coffee, and the basics we needed. There was a Trader Joe’s and Safeway close by, lots of restaurants/cafes, and several dog-friendly places nearby. Thanks for a great sit! Highly recommend!
My husband, Nate, and I had the pleasure of caring for Charlie. He is one of the most charming and well-behaved French bulldogs we’ve ever met. Not only was this little pup the epitome of sweetness, but his demeanor and playful spirit made every day an absolute joy. Meredith is so kind and her place is super cool and very nice! Her neighborhood has everything you could need. We would gladly return for another stay and recommend this experience to any fellow housesitter looking for a heartwarming opportunity.
A beautiful rural farm house. Yet only a short drive to Horley, Gatwick or Redhill. Such a welcoming family. Chicken's, geese and an amazing veg garden. A true taste of 'the good life'. We'd definitely sit again and would recommend to anyone
Andrea and Ali are very friendly, flexible and helpful hosts. They prepared the housesitting perfectly and we always had the chance to ask whatever we wanted to know about the apartment and their cats Marshmallow and Tiger during the time they were abroad. Andrea's and Ali's home is a large and very cosy apartment near Zurich zoo which is easily to get to by tram. It's situated in a very nice surrounding nearby the woods for nice walkings. It was great to look after lovable Marshmallow and Tiger for a week and we spent a fantastic time together. We can really recommend the housesitting for Andrea and Ali and would always love to come back :)
We had an amazing time house sitting for Kathy. We were fortunate enough to meet with her before the sit and she gave us a tour and answered any questions we had. Cooper and Jack were very welcoming and so much fun to play with. Morris and Judah mostly kept to themselves which is fine, Sophie loves being pampered and we were happy to spoil her with love. Our experience with Chickpea was unique in many ways. Chickpea is a true superstar in Harlem. Walking with her on the streets becomes a real event: people constantly approach, ask questions, and even request to take photos. The house is located in a very convenient area. All major attractions and important places are within walking distance, making your stay even more comfortable. The apartment is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
