Graham and Laura were excellent pet sitters for our cat, Freya. They struck the perfect balance of keeping us updated on her activities without being overwhelming, and it was clear that Freya was relaxed and enjoyed their company. They were aware of how reactive Freya can be but carefully followed all of our instructions to avoid difficult confrontations and handled her very well. Communication was clear and straightforward, and they promptly informed us of one minor incident, which was out of their control, showing their responsibility. Hosting them in our home was a pleasure as their experience was evident through the thoughtful questions they asked. We returned to a tidy home with the laundry done. I would highly recommend Graham and Laura as pet sitters and would love to have them back next year to care for Freya again.
Fred and Lisa are perfect house-sitters in every way. They cared for Blue like he was their own, and kept the house in perfect condition. We received texts photos and updates almost daily from Fred, and so we were completely comfortable being away. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

From the first moment, these four very sweet lads captured my heart. They all have such distinct personalities that at times I felt like they were almost sitcom characters! You will need to learn their individual idiosyncrasies and their habits. That’s the easy part. They will help you. They will definitely tell you when it’s time to eat, go out, etc. The house is large and comfortable. I was easily able to do my remote work, so the Internet is fine. There are several Alexas scattered around the house if you need them. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. Now, let me tell you the only real issue that I had with this sit. Again, this is just me, and another sitter might have no issues here. I’m a little older, and found the walks difficult at times because the larger dogs tended to pull on the leads. Taking all four dogs out at once was a challenge for me, so I sometimes broke the lads up into shifts for their walks. If you have no issue with that, then you will be rewarded with a wonderful time on this sit. Bentley, the flat coat, is so amazingly loving and sweet. However, he has to either have the ball in his mouth or else be put in his muzzle when he's outside. Otherwise, he will just eat mud and other unpleasant things. Bobby is a shy and sometimes skittish Romanian street dog who will at times bark at other dogs, but he doesn’t ever take aggressive action. Jasper is a former guide dog who is enjoying his retirement from work to the max! He's learning to be a part of a family again, and watching that is a wonderful thing. Figgy is...well, Figgy is such a love! Wish I could have taken all four of them with me. Of course, Jeff and Janet will explain all this to you. Their instructions were very clear. They were so generous and kind. I recommend the sit, but please know that you have four active dog—well, three active dogs, and Figgy, who is an absolute joy of a sweet old man— and you have to be on your toes all the time. I got plenty of loving and attention from these wonderful boys as well as the wonderful hosts. Recommended sit!
