Toshi is a beautiful and very independent cat and loves to be out most of the time. If she is in she will hang out nearby, efficiently swatting flies. She enjoys a firm chin scratch and will purr happily but is not that fussed about being petted too much. Her home is lovely, in the most beautiful setting, wonderful garden to relax and have your breakfast in, full of flowers and fruit trees. Just delightful! Nearest town 7 mins away in a car and Silves 14 mins, with plenty to see in the towns and local area. Paul was a great host, providing a nice guest room which has everything you need and is very comfy. Great sit, thank you. Highly recommend.
We were lucky enough to be invited to be the first THS sitters for the gorgeous and charismatic Mowgli! Having recently relocated to Athens, we’d been warned that Mowgli was still settling in and had not been his usual spritely self, so we had expected to meet a shy little fella, but were overjoyed to discover an inquisitive, curious, loving and warm gentlema instead! We instantly fell in love with Mowgs (who wouldn’t!) and it was a difficult goodbye. Andre and Natasha are a wonderful, warm and friendly couple. They made us feel so welcome and sincerely wanted us to enjoy our time with Mowgs. Communication between us could not have been easier and we enjoyed keeping in touch via a whatsapp group during the sit. Andre provided us with a detailed and considered guide to their home and shared their favourite places in Athens - fantastic recommendations we followed and equally enjoyed! Their apartment is comfortable, homely and has a wonderful energy (much to do with its inhabitants, we’d suspect). Tastefully decorated, it is full of great books, modern and traditional design pieces and the most comfortable bed. We loved relaxing with Mowgs, playing with his treat ball and enjoying the lovely wraparound balcony. Thank you Andre & Natasha for your friendship and warm welcome. It was nothing short of a pleasure to sit for you and thinking back to our moments with Mowgs brings a big smile to our faces! 😊
It was a pleasure to look after Roushka, she was so easy going and cute! We enjoyed looking after Rea and Ardi’s apartment, we felt right at home and we were able to use all the amenities that we needed. Rea was a very good communicator and it was easy to organise everything. It was a pleasure to house sit for them and we enjoyed our time in Munich!
Kerri and Megan were super easy to communicate with and their house felt very much like home. Franco was a wonderful companion. He’s friendly and very well behaved. We would absolutely sit Franco again!
We have spent some wonderful days at Karen and Steve's house. We feel like we are on our own every day from the first moment, thanks to his sympathy and his naturalness. They welcomed us with a magnificent dinner and some comforting gin tonic after a long journey that we enjoyed on the beautiful porch. The house is beautiful and very comfortable, on one level, and with a kitchen that makes you never want to leave, if it weren't to enjoy the landscape, the countryside and the forest that surround the house. An authentic haven of peace. And if you're still stressed, Hugo, Remy and Rufus will be your balm. It is very difficult to find animals as good, affectionate, friendly and fun as they are. Hugo is the most formal, always ready for a caress. Remy is mischievous and loving in equal parts. Rufus is a fluffy and big cat, who purrs at the first touch. They get along very well with each other. We thank Karen and Steve for choosing us and if you have the chance to meet this family, don't hesitate!
A housesit that makes you never wanna leave. The hospitality and the big hearts of Mercedes & Diego are incredible. They welcomed us with open arms into their beautiful home. The doggies & the cat have all their very unique, loveable characters and they are all easy to take care of. We fully enjoyed our stay and will return for sure. If you will be invited to this sit you can call yourself very very lucky.
