Housesitting for Sherry and Mic and their 3 fur babies was amazing. We got to love all 3 animals from the first minute. They all have their own great personalities and we will miss them heaps. We sent daily updates of the fur kids and communication with Sherry was easy eventhough they were overseas. Would always do another housesit for them:)
This was a very nice sit for us. Maxi is such a lovely dog. Very easy going while at home and in the garden. He doesn’t like walking, so it wasn’t easy to walk him regularly. He is very opinionated about when he walks and where to and for how long. We had to bribe him with many treats. He was very happy spending time at home with us watching tv together or watching me in the kitchen while I was cooking. Such a sweet dog! Marguerite and Jeff are really nice people. Very welcoming and chatty. Communication was very easy when they were away overseas. They gave us gifts upon arrival and also the gifts from Argentina when they came back. Very thoughtful people. Their house is nice in a good neighborhood with a nice garden. They even let us use their car while we were staying there the whole time. We really appreciate what they have done for us and we would love to go back in the future.
We had a wonderful sit with Moosey. They are very kind and friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. Communication was easy and smooth. Moosey is a beautiful sweet furball with a unique, smart personality; he likes to be around humans, but also to explore the garden or just relax in his favourite nap spots. The house is bright, comfortable, and tidy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location is peaceful yet conveniently connected, making it a perfect place to enjoy the nearby sea – and the beauty of the Lake District is a short distance away.
Host: James had a thorough welcome guide prepared and was very responsive to any question I had. House: James and Julie have a lovely, warm, and well-located home that has everything you need. They even prepared clean towels just my stay! Pet: Loki is a fur ball of love and energy who is not at all afraid of new people and will quickly cozy up to you for belly scratches ☺️ very fun, loving, and easy to care for - basically a sitter's dream
Guy and Lou were a friendly and understanding couple with a beautiful, conscientious and eco home. There were fun kitchen gadgets and a lovely garden, plus lots of places to walk in and around the scenic village. Sydney is an angel, with a very sweet and loving nature. She was a little shy at first but came out of her shell with some playful antics with her toys in the garden. She loves her treats and was very friendly to other people and dogs. 🙂
Carol has a lovely comfortable home that refects her love of travel, her wry sense of humor, and her devotion to Artie, the feline love of her life (and for good reason!). She had me arrive a couple of days early, so Artie could get used to me before she left, and kindly picked me up at the bus station and took me back there for my departure, as well as take me shopping and do her best to orient me to Hamilton and all its attractions. We had time to talk and discovered that we had a lot in common. She dictated clear instructions as to what needed to be done, and gave me fair warning I that I would fall in love with Artie. She was right! He is a sweetheart in every way, and it was my pleasure to stay with him. I would do it again in a heartbeat! I feel I now have two friends in Hamilton - one feline and one human. Thank you, Carol and Artie!
