If you get a chance to sit for Susan and Peter don’t hesitate. Smudge is a lovely cat very social and easy to care for. Susan and Peter made us very welcome and made sure we were comfortable in their home. Their home is very comfortable with a nice roof terrace and it’s location is fantastic. You live like locals and are in walking distance to Calella and Pineda de Mar both of which have lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and of course the beach and beach bars. Barcelona and Girona are only an hour away by direct train. Susan will tell you all the good places to eat and shop. They walked us around the local area to get to know it. If you are as lucky as we were to be there August - October then you have the added fun of all the many local events that take place in the area. We would be very happy to sit for them again and are pleased to have made great new friends.
Great stay in a good location in Barranco, walking distance to the water and cafes. Bowie is a really chill and sweet dog, very low maintenance and just happy to be around you!
My son James and I have just had a wonderful long weekend staying at Anna's flat with Floki and Freida. Our original flight was cancelled with just 12 hours to go but thankfully managed to get that sorted and on our way, keeping Anna updated. Such a friendly welcome from Anna to her lovely light and bright 6th floor flat. Floki and Freida are very easy to look after and very different characters with Floki following us everywhere and Freida staying hidden. So easy to navigate around from Anna's flat on public transport and we had a great time exploring the city. Thank you for trusting us with your babies and hope to see you again.
Lovely looking after Sarah cats both are very friendly and easy to care. The area and house was fantastic . Very big house with use of a hot tub which was very relaxing. Would recommend to anyone thanks
Memphis is a super chill dog. He doesn’t jump on people and he sleep most of the time. When outside, he likes to sniff around and walk slowly. Mr. Void is cuddly and sweet. He likes belly rub too! Pet parent Erin communicates very well. She helped me navigate through a lock problem. I had a very pleasant pet sitting experience. Highly recommend!!
I am so glad and so grateful to share how incredible was had the incredible experience and privilege of staying at Faith and Zack's house to care for such amazing, astonishingly affectionate and wonderful cats like Peanut and Porter was one of the best experiences I've had during my years on Trusted Housesitters. Allow me to begin by saying that this is not your run-of-the-mill announcement, in my opinion. After two years of uninterrupted pet sitting, I can confidently declare that this experience is one of the gems of THS, especially if you're a cat lover. And even if you're not a cat person, I would challenge you to spend a few hours with Peanut and Porter, and then tell me about your experience. haha These two little fellas are nothing short of sensational, and this experience is an absolute MUST TO DO! The plethora of amenities and love provided by these two incredible kitties, without a doubt. Porter is an extraordinary cat. He welcomes you from the moment you step inside their home. Peanut, on the other hand, may be a bit shy at first, but within five minutes, he's your friend. It's incredible how each of them has their own unique personality, likes, individual quirks, and preferred spots to hang out. They take turns in being affectionate, one during the mornings, and the other at bedtime. The amount of love they consistently offer is astounding. They are great friends to each other, and you need not worry about flights or anything. They eat well, and they are very easy to caring. I can confidently say I've seen some very affectionate cats, but if the saying goes that lightning doesn't strike the same place twice, Faith and Zack are truly blessed to have two kitties that are this unique, loving, and sometimes downright hilarious, all at the same time! The location is nothing short of fantastic. You can catch a glimpse of the Space Needle from their parking area. The balcony view is simply marvelous. You get a bird's eye view of the city, which adds a touch of cosmopolitan inspiration to your workspace. But at night, it's a spectacle, and you can see downtown while lying in bed with Peanut and Porter snuggled on laying over you looking at your face haha. They are two purring machines! Faith and Zack have excellent internet, and I used Zack's workstation what's was amazing. I can't complain about the view and the pleasant company. Porter loves staying close to you, following you around the house. I noticed he enjoys running alongside and playfully tripping me, which was a fun thing to discover :) He lies down next to you, striking amusing poses, with those long, elegant legs that make him look quite charming. Both of them have white paws that contrast beautifully with their fur, and they are both incredibly charming. Peanut enjoys sitting in a chair on a yellow blanket. He is beautiful and incredibly charming, which would make for Instagram-worthy photos and videos! haha The apartment has a fantastic vibe, with an abundance of well-placed plants that create a great atmosphere. They also have a collection of rocks (which could deserve a chapter of its own because it's so cool!). Being able to see these rocks up close and learn about them, if you're curious, adds a special energy to the place, in my opinion. :) Just like the strawberry plant on the balcony, the squirrels that come to steal strawberries but end up stealing more attention from these two kitties, seen from the window – that's something fun to mention. Faith and Zack are incredibly communicative and friendly. Their experience as house sitters ensures a smooth experience from the very beginning, they understand both sides and make it great :) From their apartment, you can reach the city's most iconic attractions in just a few minutes. If you're looking for an authentic Seattle experience, meeting fantastic people, and having two extraordinary cats, you shouldn't think twice. Plan to spend time with these two adorable little ones, and I'm certain that even if you have a great cat of your own or know other charming cats, these two will captivate you from start to finish, making it quite challenging to say goodbye. Yes. haha My wife adores cats, and this time, she couldn't join me on this trip. Someday, when our schedules align – and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that – my wife and I will apply and hope for the opportunity to spend a few days with these two enchanting feline gems! This experience deserves much more than five stars! +++++
