We were delighted with Patricia’s care of our house and pets! She sent us lots of pictures of our animals, and was very responsive whenever we checked in. She also left our house extremely clean and in great order. Patrica also made it really easy to coordinate the logistics hand off of animals and was willing to help accommodate our travel plans when it came to hand off. She also clearly loves animals and took great care of our pets. We would definitely use Patrica again and would recommend her to others!

Lakisha is such a wonderful house sitter and animal companion! One could literally not find a better personality to care for animals. Lakisha is a detail oriented, focused but flexible career woman, who is somehow also an outdoorsy, hiking, nature-loving vegan, completely in harmony with animals. She’s able to work from home, so she spent tons of time with my cat. I don’t have dogs right now, but if I did, she would have been cross-country skiing and snowshoeing and hiking with them every day. She literally offered to bring her own cleaning supplies and detergent, to make sure that they are vegan and cruelty free. She organized my kitchen and took adorable pictures of my cat, and sent me a little videos of him. She is the perfect housesitter. I was really wowed by Lakisha’s care, and am so grateful for everything she did…taking care of François, my beloved three legged kitty cat, for an entire month, when I was on the other side of the world. When I first interviewed with Lakisha, she had really great questions. For instance, she prompted, “Tell me about your daily routine with François.” Then she truly listened as I described a day with my cat. Which, for all you cat people out there, is really not a very exciting day. But she took notes. She then asked, “Does he have any special needs or medications?” At the time, he wasn’t on any medication, but right before I left, he did get a prescription… And Lakisha was completely willing to embark upon the difficult task of managing medication in a cat that she had just met. She was really fearless when it came to his health and needs. I was traveling to the other side of the world, in South Sudan, where I didn’t know if I would have Internet access and was working in a stressful situation. Lakisha would send me pictures of François, or a little videos of him playing with his mouse. It was such a relief to know that he was safe and OK with somebody. I remember the day when she wrote to me that they had really connected… And I knew that he actually had a friend who saw his special spark. Then… (!!!) I had to extend my stay…over Christmas, and she stayed extra just to take care of him, through the holidays. Absolutely amazing. When I came home, the house was perfectly clean, with a little gift on the counter. Lakisha had remembered that I made a joke about taking care of my basil plant (It was clearly an already dead plant)….so she bought me a brand new one and also a really pretty nice smelling candle. I am so lucky to have had her with my beloved cat, when I was so very far away, never having left him for so long. It is amazing how somebody can be a stranger one moment, and then they are a beloved cat-auntie the next… Somebody to really trust with your pet and your home. Thank you so much, Lakisha!

Beatriz was absolutely amazing with my animals!! She kept very open and clear communication with daily pictures and updates. She kept the house very clean and the animals loved her. I highly recommend her to anyone using zeewoi. You will NOT be disappointed. She is very sweet and caring. And it showed in her stay.

I wish Michaela and her family could be regular sitters for Stetson. She was so thoughtful about every aspect and sent updates and pictures always. Asking questions if she wasn't sure (such as, is the an approved dog toy) I came back to a happy puppy and a clean house left in perfect conditions. Thank you soooooo much! You made us feel very safe on our trip away!

Nate and Gloria were once again- were the perfect house/dog sitters to our Zoo of 2 labs, 1 cat and a gecko. They house was spotless and animals were calm and happy. They are so communicative and thoughtful! Highly recommend.

Lucy and Munta were delightful house sitters. They are a very laid back and creative couple. William and Kiki loved them. They got lots of walks- William was totally wiped out, in a good way! I really appreciated that Munta noticed a small leak - something we hadn't noticed - that helped us uncover a problem before it got worse. The house was in great shaper, they communicated well (daily photos), and overall, I felt like we were all in great hands. I'd have them back anytime.

Patience and Jakerra were very kind and loving to our cats. They were also respectful of our space, especially during the first and last nights of their stay when we were home. We were glad to have them watching the house and pets while we were away.

Pennie was great! She came through for a last minute request, did not blink an eye at the extra care needed for one of my kitties who's sick, and I think she may have left the house even cleaner than when I arrived!? She was responsive and provided updates when I asked. The boys were happy and well taken care of! Would definitely have her again :)

Amy and Jim were absolutely fantastic as our zeewoi! Our cat Marco, who is usually very shy and skittish around new people, warmed up to Amy amazingly quickly. It was clear she has a natural way with animals, as Marco seemed relaxed and comfortable around her from the start. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters. Amy and Jim truly went above and beyond, and we would happily welcome them back anytime! Highly recommend.

Thorsten + Silvia

Thorsten and Sylvia were wonderful and I truly enjoyed my stay in their home. They made sure I had everything I needed and that I was more than comfortable. They even generously picked me up at the airport and also allowed me use of their car! They communicated my responsibilities clearly, showed me around the area, helped me navigate travel, and so much more. While they required very little work, Cleo and Sammy were lovely. The birds involved a lot of work, but having chickens and ducks myself, I was prepared. Rainy days were tougher as it gets muddy but I was lucky with beautiful weather. I made several bird friends and was happy to provide for all of their needs. I would strongly recommend that you have experience caring for poultry, don't mind bird poo, are ok with getting filthy, and are physically capable. If you're laid back and adaptable I think you'll have a blast. If you're fussy and looking to not work much, I don't think you'll like this sit. I loved my time and feel like I really clicked with two lovely new friends in Thorsten and Sylvia!

Lisa received us very warmly and reviewed the information regarding the care of her beautiful cat Luna in detail prior to her departure. Every aspect of our sit and our interactions with Lisa went extremely well (Lisa even encouraged us to harvest tomatoes and greens from her fantastic organic garden!).  Luna is an extremely cuddly and easy cat to care for, and we greatly enjoyed our time with her.  We would accept a future sitting assignment from Lisa, and recommend this sit to others without reservation!

Derek and Trinda are just lovely and so is Luna. We had a great stay in their flat. It’s large, comfortable and has everything you might need. There’s a separate workspace which is ideal. Communication was excellent.

Luna is gorgeous and has a straight forward routine. She loafs around, enjoys a play and likes to join you whilst watching TV.

We’d definitely love to return and would recommend.

Stitch and Lilo love to cuddle and we loved that.  They are very easy to take care of and love the company.  Deb provided a lot of good information about the area and how to get around which was much appreciated.  Very easy to get the bus into Windsor Central or the long walk.  The house was very clean and comfortable and Deb and Mark were very welcoming.  Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore the area.

I absolutely loved this sit. Kim was very communicative, welcoming, personable and hospitable! She even made me a delicious salad! Annabelle was such an easy going, lovable cat, who loves face scratches and a warm lap to complete daily biscuit making duties. Very easy to care for!
