If I could give more than 5 stars to Kelly and Chris, I definitely would. This was their second time sitting for our fur babies and my dogs were actually sad after they left! They are excellent communicators, follow all zeewoi protocols to the letter, and truly love and care for our pets. I did not have a moments hesitation in having Chris and Kelly in my home. They are fantastic!

Louise and Mark were very welcoming hosts and their home is a beautiful old farm house set in 3 acres of lovely garden. The village is very peaceful and quiet and there is a village playing field to take Maisie for a short walk and some woods a little further away.

The village is very remote and there is no shop or pub within walking distance so be prepared to drive everywhere. There is a great garden centre at Bawdeswell which has a lovely deli and bakery, a great art supply shop and a terrific café. Well worth a visit. The nearest town is Dereham which has lots of shops and restaurants.

Maisie is not up for walking very far, especially in the summer as she gets quite tired. Several shorter walks suit her fine. It's a shame that the garden is not enclosed as you have to have her on a lead outside or she will run off! She loves company and is happy to just hang out at home. The listing is a bit misleading when it mentions the beach as the nearest beach is about 40 minutes drive away. Also, the listing says Maisie sleeps in a kennel outside when in fact she sleeps on the sofa!

The kennel is now the home of 2 lovely ducks who aren't really mentioned in the listing but should be. They are super cute and need feeding 3 times a day and got into their coop at night. I have to confess this was the most stressful part of my stay as I had heard rumours of their sister meeting a sad ending at the hands of an otter. They did not always get locked in at night but thankfully they did always turn up for breakfast in the morning! The duck duties should definitely be mentioned, not least because they produce lovely eggs which I enjoyed hard boiled!

The other thing not mentioned was the watering but this is probably just an issue in summer. There are 2 greenhouses and close to 50 pots and hanging baskets in the garden that need watering. When I stayed it was especially hot and they needed a lot of watering. This was quite hard work and took a fair amount of time.

There is a wonderful vegetable garden and when I was there I enjoyed fresh courgettes, beetroot, potatoes, lettuces, tomatoes, gooseberries and raspberries. The kitchen is very well equipped and I made good use of the fruit and veg. Delicious!

I enjoyed my stay at Louise's and I fell in love with Maisie. She is a good natured and friendly dog. She never rises to the challenge of other dogs barking and is very easy to manage when you're out and about. Maisie is great company and a lot of fun. I miss her already!

Samantha
Samantha and Richard went above and beyond to make me feel welcome into their home and introduce me to their gorgeous two dogs. Samantha invited me to visit her at her home ahead of the stay and we went through all the routines for the house and dogs as well as a practice walk with them so that I was confident and fully equipped to take over. Samantha took me out in her car to show me two additional walks… I was simply spoilt for choice! In addition to that, Samantha typed up a comprehensive list of everything I would need to know throughout my stay and left OS maps of the local area. During the week, she and I kept in touch.
The dogs are extremely friendly to humans and each other; well behaved and lovable. Playful by day and cuddly at night when the TV is on!
I wanted for nothing; Samantha was very generous and made sure I was comfortable, warm and cosy throughout my stay. Thank you Samantha, Richard and the dogs for a wonderful week.

Ashwin & Marija
What a great sit! Ashwin and Marija are wonderful hosts. Open, friendly, very attentive and generous. We already got to know each other personally before the sit, and I got shown everything without ruffle or excitement, I could ask my questions and also got to know the two dear sweetums Koka and Damian. I knew instantly that I would like to sit here!

The location of the apartment can hardly be topped. Right in the middle of trendy Neukölln with all its popular pubs and the bustling lifestyle, there is always something to experience or to see. Yet the apartment is very quiet, and you can seclude yourself perfectly and work on your laptop. The WLAN ist quick and absolutely reliable. The bus stops around the corner. The next underground station is Hermannplatz. Supermarkets are no further away than five minutes by foot (Edeka, Lidl, Aldi...). Restaurants, pubs and bistros, you are spoilt for choice.

Koka and Damian are abolutely lovable and easy-care, and it is a true pleasure to take care of them. They are always around you, lie on your lap or sleep in the bed beside you. And they like to play! Especially Damian loves to cut loose with his energy when he can chase after the laser pointer. The cats' favorite place is the secured balcony where they can watch the birds in the trees for hours.

For me, simply everything was there during my one-month stay in the nice and comfortable home of Ashwin and Marija, and I would gladly come back.

Brian and Chris were super hosts and we couldn't have asked for a better housesit. Hoppy and Poppet were easy to look after and are quite friendly once they get to know you. The house is in a great location and was immaculate - we'd go back again in a heartbeat.

Yoriko
Tenten and Cleo are great cats. We had a very nice stay. Cleo is younger and playful and loves to go out. Tenten is quite shy but likes to be cuddled. So they have quite different personalities but it was nice for us to get to know them.
Yoriko and Ari were very nice and helpful. The neighbourhood is very convenient and we had pleasant stay.
Thank you

Randal is as sweet as he is big, I already miss this friendly giant. Wonderful location, plenty of natural light, and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Highly recommended.
