Meredith was incredibly kind and helpful and asked great questions when watching my home and elderly pup. There were a couple "eye for detail" things that I would have done differently and I clarified these with Meredith personally and she was receptive to the feedback.
Unfortunately, Stephanie was unable to come and canceled the day of. We scrambled to get dog friendly hotels, and left three hours later. We had to spend 100's of dollars to get hotels that were dog friendly, when we were supposed to stay with my brother for free. He has a dog and a cat, so we couldn't bring our pets there. I tried to communicate with Stephanie during the week prior to the weekend, but she was somewhat brief in her replies, and didn't tell me that she wasn't feeling well. This was a big disappointment for us, as it was so much more work to take our two dogs, and we couldn't eat out in any restaurants. I wish that Stephanie would have let me know during the week that she was feeling run down, and may not be able to sit. That way I could have had time to get another sitter.
Hari has been outstanding in every aspect. In fact, I don’t think my own family would have been as good if that were option. When I came back after a long and busy trip , I found the house, the plants, and the cat in the best shape ever! From the very first moment of contact, Hari was always helpful, a great communicator, flexible, and solution-oriented. She recognized my cat’s needs very easily and established trust with my shy and nervous cat very quickly. She gave me helpful updates every day. After my trip, I found my cat calm and happy, as if I was simply coming back from the grocery store. It was a huge surprise because my cat normally misses me too much. They clearly became good friends during my absence. In fact, I feel like my cat missed Hari after her stay! Hari kept the house very clean and tidy throughout her stay and she was very flexible with the agency that was showing my house to potential future buyers. The neighbors were also happy to meet Hari and reassured by her kind and friendly nature. In short, a wonderful human being that my cat and I were very lucky to meet. Hope our paths cross again!!
