We looked after Zoltan around Christmas for a week and we had an amazing time! He is such a little character! He is super affectionate but when he's had enough he'll let you know! Also, really cheeky and his little eyes are just so cute, he'll get away with anything! Lerryn and Sebastian were there to welcome us just before they left and they are such a lovely couple! The house is really cool and we had 2 rooms we could use which is more than we needed but it was very generous. There is a garden but we never used. We loved the large kitchen and we spent a lot of time there at the table. And I know it might not be important for some but their sofa was insanely confortable!!! 🤩 Thank you for having us!
Joanna & Edward made us feel most welcome in their wonderful home. They took the time, both before and at the start of the house/dog sit, to talk us through everything they needed us to know and left us with a comprehensive summary of details. Their two dogs, Mole and Tigger, were an absolute delight to look after and in no time at all had secured a special place in our hearts. While they were away we were also able to keep in touch with them so that we could reassure them that Mole and Tigger were being well loved and cared for in their absence. Their home was a pleasure to stay in and together with all its fabulous views made for a very relaxing experience. We found numerous lovely walks in the area, which added variety and interest to our daily outings with Mole and Tigger. If asked, we would love to house/dog sit for Joanna and Edward again and would not hesitate to recommend them to other sitters.
Wow, what a full couple of weeks. I felt like I had been there so much longer. I fell in LOVE with the puppies; each one with their distinct personality. I worked my regular job from there. Janeice and Ken made a nice comfortable space for my computer and monitors and such. And every single dog would be right under my feet all day, to be near me … even Teddie at times. The house was clean and well appointed. I usually made all my meals there. They had so many tomatoes and cucumbers and zucchini too. I ate healthy and even learned how to make spaghetti sauce from scratch! Heidi, who I called Mama considering she was pregnant and all, was the Sheriff it town. Keeping all the others in order and not playing too rough. But when she was off-duty, what a sweetie. She loved sleeping on me and getting her growing belly rubbed. Ellie Mae was a boundless, ball of energy, but when she was finally worn out, she was a cuddler too. Abby was a sweet girl, but looked different than the rest, so she got picked on a little by Heidi and she could be a bit stubborn at times. But Jaxon … Jaxon was my little boy, who followed me everywhere. He was such a beautiful caring guy. I loved to watch him prance around outside and give him belly rubs while he went to sleep … Gosh, I think I may miss him the most. I wish I lived closer so I could check on Heidi’s babies and just love on them all for a while!
Kelsey and Will were very welcoming. Their house was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's in a good location not far from the beach, gym, coffee shops and supermarkets. We had fun getting to know Dixie and Odin, and despite Dixies anxious nature they were easy to take care of. Kelsey made sure we had all the information we needed and we had plenty of time for the dogs to get familiar with us before they left.
Ana and Tomek are wonderful, welcoming people. Most communication was with Ana, who was great at giving clear instructions and also very friendly! Gave us heaps of tips for Paris. Lovely family and very hospitable. Lajka is a wonderful, friendly corgi. She requires walking three times a day, so keep that in mind as it does mean you will not be able to go out all day. Strapping her in and her routine takes a little getting used to, but once you have it’s all good. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. I recommend this sit and would come back. Thank you Ana and Tomek!
We loved our time with King Zazzles and Lady Nubs. As sppn as we walked in the door they were full of purrs! We spent our time catching up on work while we were there, and aside from their outdoor time, they came and spent time with us on our laps/table/desk, and snuggled in the evening. They are super sweet cats with a lot of character. Laura's home was clean, comfy, and full of natural light. The area is gorgeous and surrounded by plenty of adventures. We just wish our timing worked out to have met Laura in person. She was fun to communicate with before, during, and even after the sit. Thanks Laura!
