Aurora and Isaac were great pet sitters over Christmas break. They are great pet sitters because they are also hosts as well so understand the magic of the platform. They were very sweet to our cat Peppercorn, provided updates and pictures and even kept us up to date with some stress-related incidents with our cat! The house was very clean as well which is always a nice bonus to come home to :)
Renee was absolutely brilliant! From the very beginning all the way through to our return home she was kind, communicative, incredibly thoughtful, very easy to work with, and all around amazing. We wish we could keep her for all of our travels! She took fantastic care of our two kitties, including one who tends to be scared of his own shadow and can be slow to warm to new people, and the other who is a social butterfly. After a brief time she was sending us photos of the timid one strutting around, playing and ruling the house, and she was best friends with the social one straightaway. Our timid kitty also has some tummy issues and is no stranger to throwing up. When we got home, however, the floor was a thousand times cleaner than we left it. It looked like a professional carpet cleaner had come through! Not only that, but our whole house was cleaner and in a nicer state than after our house cleaners come. It was truly gorgeous! We retuned home to very happy and healthy kitties, and a sparkling house - what more could anyone ask for?! I wholeheartedly recommend Renee to help with any of your house/pet-sitting needs. She is truly a treasure to this service.
Marc was welcoming and helpful and his apartment is very comfortable - fully updated and a great bed. Maggie is a lovely cat and very sweet. She's older and sedate - a real lady. She has some sneezing fits, but Marc had warned me about this and I didn't worry about it much. She's getting a new medication soon. Marc and I stayed in touch via texting and he was always available for any questions I had. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and there's a pretty famous pizza place nearby. The location makes a day trip to Coney Island very easy. Parking is fairly easy compared to other NYC neighborhoods and street cleaning (when you must move your car) is only once weekly.
Lucas and Kallie are welcoming and generous. Fun home for board game lovers. Cats were loving characters.
