Such a beautiful spot in the New Forrest, with the most content little Dizzy, who is completely adorable! I would return here in a heart beat! This was Catherine and Andrews first experience with a Trusted Housesitter and I am certain that they found this surprisingly easy. They are the most thoughtful and kind Host Family and they went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable and easy as they possibly could. Dizzy, is the most incredible fur baby, an 8 year old black Labradoodle bitch, who just wants to please everyone. She is a fast learner and is ever so adaptable. I took her everywhere with me. She is a fantastic guard dog, but not a yappy dog. Well, what is there to say about their wonderful home and rural location - magnificent does not do it justice! Their home is situated right on the forest and you step out of their rear gate and onto the unspoilt wilderness. Local village store is less than 1 mile away and large supermarkets are about three miles away, but very easy to get to by car.
Werner and Nicki were fabulous hosts. We arrived early and they showed us everything we needed to know to look after everyone. Everything was beautifully organised which made the routines very easy to follow. The location had good access to everything and the beach run was good fun and loved by the dogs. Werner and Nicki were also fabulous people who looked after us and shared lots of great tips and experiences. They were very accommodating hosts and Fred, Cooper, Alice, Inja, Spikey, Mischief, TaeKwando and Lucky were great company as well. Hopefully we'll see them all again soon. Cheers, Laurie & Linda
Where do I start….CoCoNutz (Coki) is an absolute sweetheart and we fell in love with her instantly. She is the most adorable, well behaved, well mannered little princess. We had such a great time hanging out with her and sharing carrot snacks. We just left and already miss her. Cynthia is great too. We got to meet her the night before she left and she was so warm and welcoming and gave tons of good recommendations of things to do. Her house is adorable and we loved the collection of art throughout. Highly, highly recommend sitting for Coki. Wish I could give 20 thumbs up. We would 100% do another sit with Coki for Cynthia.
We had a great stay at Nigel's and Elaine's place. It is a beautiful rural location with a stunning view over the Isle of Hoy. Lulu and Luther are joyful, full of life and characterful dogs. They need at least one long walk a day to be happy at home. Lulee is an old cat who does miaow in a very sweet manner and likes to sleep on your head. The house is very comfortable and communications with the hosts was swift and efficient. Overall we are grateful for such an opportunity to stay and explore Orkney and we can recommend Nigel and Elaine as reliable and trustworthy people. All the best to you guys and big thanks from Vitalii, Morwenna and Reya.
I had a wonderful time hanging out with Captain Billy...he is a real character and loves company. Tom's home is lovely, the location exquisite and Tom was great with his communication and a lovely person. I would highly recommend pet and house sitting here and would jump at the chance to hang out with Billy again.
We absolutely loved our stay at Jan and Joe’s place. They are incredibly kind and hospitable and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Bree and Jasper are such great dogs. Bree is older so she is slower on walks, but she’s very sweet (and a little stubborn!). Jasper is younger and has tons of energy; his favorite activity is a good ol’ game of catch. We loved walking about 20 minutes down to the local dog park every day. The neighborhood is lovely with friendly neighbors. You can also enjoy the hot tub if it isn’t too hot when you are here. We highly recommend this sit and would definitely love to return.
