Angie
We had a great time with Captain and Charlie Mae! They are both super sweet dogs and are both down to relax at home or go out and play. Just be ready for a 6:30am wake up bark from Charlie as she is ready for her breakfast.
Angie’s home is beautiful and comfortable and the communication with her was easy and always a positive experience.
We were grateful for our stay and would recommend sitting for this family!

I had a lovely time looking after Boots and Houdini. They're both very special and unique animals. Boots is very affectionate- I got a lot of cuddles and he was great company and he's very funny - he loves joining in on a Zoom call or watching tv together - he sees everything going on on the screen! Houdini came on walks with me and Boots, which was adorable!
The house and ground are stunning - picturesque and peaceful. There's a few pubs and a big Tesco within walking distance (20 mins)
Stephanie was lovely and helpful - I really enjoyed getting to know her the evening before she left. It was nice to share some wine and talk about our creative projects.
Boots did bite/tear her duvet in my room, which I wasn't prepared for, but I let Stephanie know and she plans to add this to the welcome guide. I also got a little confused with the directions for Boots' medication, which was actually more straightforward that written in the guide.
Stephanie and I kept in regular touch and anything I needed to ask she responded pretty quickly.
I had a brilliant time and would love to come back and look after them both again, should it be possible.

Joy
This was the first time Joy and Kevin had used Trusted House Sitters so I felt honoured to be asked to care for the very handsome Walter, with his big eyes and easy going character, who liked to have his tummy tickled - a lot!! I very much appreciated them allowing me to take my dog Lottie along and she made a new friend in Walter.
It's always a treat for me to be able to walk from the house, and you really are spoilt for choice here with so many footpaths - Joy kindly left an OS map of the area to help me out.
Their home is beautiful with everything you need and more. I was encouraged to light the woodburner, which I did as I sat during the recent cold, very windy storms. They even have a sauna ! Joy gave clear instructions on how to use it and I was very grateful for it one day after getting bitterly cold on a walk. And as if that's not enough, then there's the glass box in the garden where you can watch TV after making a cuppa in the kitchenette...... Again I was encouraged to make use of it during my stay, so I spent an afternoon in there - I lit the stove, put my feet up and watched the birds and the clouds pass by - it's such a tranquil space that I used it the next day to do my qi-gong practice - perfect, out of the wind !
I would love to sit for Joy, Kevin and Walter again sometime and highly recommending this house sit.
