This was a return sit for me and again I loved it. After Spring Showers and roaring fires I got all the sun this time! As hosts Mary and Pete made me feel at home right away. They have a lovely home, situated in a unique location. It is steeped with history and has access to remarkable dunes and beach, miles of beach! The dogs (Mabel,Freida) and cat (Saffie) are great companions. Mabel is a beautiful old soul and Freida a playful youth. For me there is nothing like playing on the beach with the dogs and coming home to a chatty cat who comes to settle on my bed. I have made great friends and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
I am grateful to Katie and Matt for choosing me for this sit as it ranks as a five-star sit for many reasons. Katie and Matt are kind and generous hosts and their dog Tenley is adorable. Matt very kindly picked me up at the station (thank you Matt) when I arrived and gave me a detailed and comprehensive briefing on the town, the flat and how best to take care of Tenley. Katie and Matt made sure I had all I needed, including food (thank you both for that) and a written guide on various things to refer to as needed. Tenley may be an elderly lady who likes to sleep a lot but she enjoys going out for short walks and loves to run up the stairs when she gets home. She loves to eat and will tell you when she wants her meals or a treat or a walk, she's very communicative. Katie kept in touch with me via our iphones and fortunately there were no serious issues of any kind arising while I was there. St Leonards on Sea has various shops, I found the short bus ride to Aldi on the road to Bexhill to be the easiest way to shop. The flat is across the road from the beach - great view - and the promenade which has grassy areas which Tenley liked to go on. I really enjoyed chilling out with Tenley and am looking forward to hopefully seeing her and Katie and Matt again in the not too distant future.
We looked after Paul's canary, Pete, and house for 3 months and it couldn't have been an easier or more enjoyable experience! Paul was great at communicating before and during the sit, and gave us some fantastic tips on things to do and places to go around the local area. We had a great time and would not hesitate to sit for Paul again!

I can't say enough great things about Le Pooch Chateau! Donna and her team took such good of my pups! It's the first time in 5 years that i was able to tear my husband away from our dogs!!! He's always worried that no one would care for them the way we do. NEWS FLASH!!! Le Pooch Chateau did just that!!! We have two smallish dogs (9lb and 23lb) and the accommodations couldn't have been better! Clean, spacious, and Donna did everything to accommodate my rheumatoid arthritis girl. I highly recommend Le Pooch Chateau to everyone who's looking for a highly reliable dog boarding facility. I will definitely be boarding my dogs with Donna and her team from now on.
I am so happy to have found a place where our boys feel comfortable and well cared for. Donna and her staff are so caring and you can tell they love what they do. We have two large older dogs (golden retriever and husky) that we boarded for the week. The staff kept us updated every step of the way and sent photos so we could see how our boys were doing. Le Pooch Chateau is the one and only place i take my babies to. The entire staff is amazing. They treat every dog with love and kindness. They pet them and play with them. The rooms are cute and clean. My dogs love everyone there (and trust me when i say that my male dog barely likes people hahah) The owner, Donna, is the sweetest lady ever! She is very kind, respectful and wants to do the best for my babies to have a great time. She was able to get my dogs to socialize with other dogs and she did that by being very patient, professional and kind. Debbie, Danielle and Chris are also very loving with my dogs. Everyone is! Donna and her staff are fantastic and true animal lovers. We boarded our 2 dogs there for a night and they went above and beyond for our boys - from special accommodations for the grumpy guy to playing fetch with the younger one. The place was immaculately clean and they have a variety of spaces for the pups. Extra bonus, we had them groomed as well. Our dogs came home handsome and happy! Donna was super great at communicating and flexible to meet the dogs needs. You can tell she just wants the best for the dogs. It felt like leaving them with our favorite trusted aunt who happens to be in the dog boarding business - we had complete peace of mind while out of town.
I brought my Woodle, Willow here for a week and it was wonderful. This was our first year trying to plan vacation while owning a dog. We trusted LePooch Chateau to take care of Willow while we were away and I'm so glad we choose them. They sent pictures to keep me updated and let me know how she was doing during the week. Willow was comfortable in the home like environment and the staff were incredibly friendly. We would definitely use them again.

John and his team are outstanding! We’ve used Bakers Dog Care services weekly since we got our English Bulldog and it’s been such a positive experience. Our Millie gets excited when they come to feed her and take her out. They care so much about the dogs, the bowls are always washed filled with fresh water treats given etc. My work schedule changes weekly and John has been so accommodating always available. I just want to share what a great person John is. His love and compassion for animals is beyond measure. He took care of my dogs like they were part of his family. He had also given me some food suggestions that helped my boys eat a more healthy diet. His partner who also came in to walk my dogs spent time with them that they needed while I was away. I felt so safe knowing my dogs were in such good care. I was able to go away and know my dogs were safe and well taken care of. I just want to say thank you! John was nice enough to help us out last minute and watch our black lab Adonis overnight and he had the best time ever! John and his wife are so sweet and clearly love animals. John even sent me a cute video of Adonis playing with all his new doggy friends. We will definitely be using Bakers Dog Care services again!
It is with great enthusiasm and not an ounce of hesitation that I recommend Baker’s Dog Care. They have been professional, reliable and all around wonderful since the moment I called for them to walk my pup. This may be a little long, but… I came home from work one day too sick to walk my dog, so, I called them based on a friend’s referral. They walked my dog 3 times a day for the next 10 days as I was unable to get out of bed. They also checked on me every time they came to the house. When one of the walkers was concerned that I looked worse than the day before, John, the owner, called to see if I was ok and offered to bring soup or whatever I needed. Since I began using their services I have taken in 3 fosters, 1 at a time. The walkers have been super helpful and accommodating with each new foster and the owner even let me borrow a crate. One of the fosters has had some trust issues due to neglect / abuse / no socialization. John spent some time visiting with my foster pup to build trust, a few times, before taking him for a walk. They are all professionals who truly love the dogs. I cannot recommend them enough. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. 🐾💕
We used Baker's Dog Care a few times and each time Lila came home so happy. She reminded me of a child who didn't want to leave their day care because they were having too much fun! The second time we went to Baker's, Lila started barking when we were at the top of the block! By the time we parked she was pushing against the car door. This was a few months after our last visit! Both John and his wife took care of Lila like she was their own beloved dog. They were so respectful of our needs and concerns. We had used another dog care facility before so we know what Lila looks like when service is NOT good. This was not the case here. Lila came home buoyant, clean, smelling great, and filled up with kisses and love. She had none of the trouble that other dog places will tell you is "normal" when you bring your pet back home - no "readjustment" or feeding issues at all. Quite the opposite. Lila came home happy and content. I highly recommend Baker's Dog Care with no reservations.

It’s so hard to find someone you can trust with your dog, especially if you have an energetic crazy hound like me. But Bakers is the best and I trust them completely. For anything to dog walks to boarding, ti helping us out in a last minute pinch, they always make sure the dogs are safe, cared for, and happy. Couldn’t recommend them enough.
Love the Perfect Pooch. I found them through Google and Yelp reviews and the reviews are so accurate. I was so worried as a new dog owner and they treat my dog with such care. They started watching him before he was fully vaccinated so more pet sitting and they were fantastic. I got tons of updates and pics and they truly care for the pets. They’re great about notes and requests and did a great job feeding him and keeping him entertained. I most recently tried their overnight service which was fantastic and didn’t disrupt my puppy’s routine. I always feel like my dog is cared for by folks (especially Joy!) who love dogs and take extra care to treat my puppy with kindness -highly recommended.

Maggie is pure joy. She's also a 55lb diva who needs a long walk every day to keep her being a pure joy as my workday co-pilot. I had a scary experience with a solo dog walker, and then I found Leeland, who heads the Perfect Pooch. Lili, Gable, Raeven and sometimes Leland herself walk Maggie both alone, and sometimes with great buddies. I've seen them outside from a distance, and know how Maggie is super excited when it's time for their arrival. Maya stayed with Maggie while we were away, too. I feel confident and very comfortable knowing Maggie gets her walk (no matter the weather). The portal is very easy to use for communication, and payment, too.
I have been using perfect pooch for cat sitting for several months now. They have watched our cats during several trips. It is easy to schedule via their app, they are reliable, take good care of our cats, and always send follow up notes and pictures. As an added bonus - they also leave our apartment tidy - vacuuming up litter and taking out the cat food tins.

My experience with The Perfect Pooch has been overly positive. The business owner is very responsive, and helps to do all booking, scheduling, payment, and messaging through a commonly used app. All employees have been trustworthy in my home, including the business owner who shares in the workload during busy weekends. Employees are largely detail oriented as well as cat-friendly and very patient even in the face of very shy cats who can lock themselves in a room.
I've been using The Perfect Pooch NYC for about a year now, and they take the BEST care of my little chihuahua! He was a COVID puppy, so I hadn't had to leave him with a walker/sitter before, but Leeland and her team are so professional, caring, and warm that I felt comfortable instantly. My dog be a little feisty (to put it nicely) but he adores his walker Ashley, and she keeps him happy and in check on their daily Central Park walks. I recently boarded my dog, Astor, at Dogtopia for a month, and I couldn't be happier with the care he received. From the moment we dropped him off, the staff were warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about dogs. The owner, Christine, is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond and kept us updated with regular photos and reports, which provided great peace of mind. My dog returned home happy, healthy, and well-exercised. He seemed to have formed a special bond with the staff, and it was evident that he enjoyed his time there. The facilities are clean and spacious, providing plenty of room for play and rest. They never leave dogs alone. There is at least one trainer present at all times. I highly recommend Dogtopia for anyone looking for a reliable and loving place to board their dog. Dogtopia Westmont is a great spot to bring your fur babies. Staff is always so polite and friendly. Facility is spotless. The staff always interacts with all the puppies. I cannot recommend Dogtopia enough! After trying several different daycare facilities for my dog, we finally found the perfect one. Unlike other places, he always comes home smelling fresh, so there's no need for an extra bath. The staff at Dogtopia are incredibly patient and friendly. One of the best features is the live camera feed, allowing me to check on my dog at any time. Even when he's the only dog there, the staff ensure he has plenty of playtime and is constantly supervised. It's clear that Dogtopia prioritizes the well-being and happiness of their furry guests, making it the best place I've found for my dog.
Dogtopia is wonderful I should have thought of this sooner for my pup. We are so happy we found this place and our puppy is to he is not only being taken care of he is learning to! I have gone through multiple trainers and since I started taking my pup here we have noticed the change right away with him desperately needed mental stimulation and socialization. The staff at Dogtopia are wonderful I feel very relaxed knowing my puppy is safe and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend anyone to take there dog here and they offer other services to. I can not say enough great things about my experiences at Dogtopia at Westmont Station. The staff are very friendly and attentive to both the dogs and their humans. The facility is extremely clean and does not smell like an animal facility in the least bit. They are very transparent and allow owners to tour the facility and see all areas as well as they have cameras that only dog parents of dogs that attend have access to through an App. An employees is with the dogs at all times in the playrooms. Anytime a time a dog relieves himself you can see the employees immediately cleaning the area. My dog absolutely loves going to Dogtopia and I feel comfortable knowing that he is being well cared for and I can check on him with the cameras. He comes home tired and content and does not smell at all like a kennel. I would highly recommend Dogtopia for your Doggie daycare needs.

This dog care service is the BEST! Took care of my dogs (and sometimes even me;) post surgery when I couldn’t walk my two by myself. They are amazing, caring and love your dogs like their own! I’ve also observed them coincidentally walking my dogs on my way home from work and they looked so happy and treated SO well! The first call we made for dog service was on the first day of a 1,500 participant event where we realized we didn’t have the services our clients would need. His responsiveness, love and clarity of what needed to be done quickly to serve at his highest in such a short time was epic for the whole event to go on flawlessly. We went away for 5 days and were nervous to leave our baby with a pet sitter for the first time ever. We can say now as long as it’s Jaime we will never be nervous again! As you can see our cat loved her lol. We received daily photos, all directions were followed as given in regards to feedings/supplements and litter scooping and she even vacuumed around the box which I didn’t ask of her! Came home to a happy, healthy and loved kitty 😊
Jamie is wonderful! She took such great care of our little guy while we were away for a few days! I was green in the area of pet sitting because I usually take the pets everywhere with me lol. But Jamie exceeded my expectations by far! We also communicated daily while I was away, and she even sent me daily pics of my little guy. It was because of Jamie that I could relax while away! My entire family thanks her for that.

Jaime was great with my dog! It was my first time hiring a dog walker but she exceeded the expectation! I received a photo after the walks and he looked so happy. I even noticed his appetite increased which is a great sign that jaime provided much needed exercise.

We hired Jaime to care for our pets in our home while we were away for almost two weeks. We have quite a menagerie - 4 cats and 3 dogs, several of whom have special needs. Jaime was amazing with meeting all of their needs. She kept in touch via text several times during the first few days which gave us great peace of mind. We returned home to happy, healthy pets. If Jaime can handle our handful, she can handle anything! Highly recommend.
We’ve used Jamie now twice with our big boy Archie! Jamie is absolutely amazing and has treated our needy boy pristinely! Our first experience with Jamie found us in a pinch and needing a dog sitter for an unplanned trip. Jamie helped us calm down and made time to make sure we and Archie were comfortable with her. Needless to say we were sold and haven’t looked back since! Jamie thinks about the things most walkers/sitters don’t… she checks the temperature, she pulls in packages if they’re out front, and sends you photos of your furry one without being asked. If you need any of the services Jamie offers, do yourself a favor and book her. You won’t regret it and most importantly, your furry friend(s) will have the best time! We highly recommend Jamie!

Jamie stayed at our house with our dog Ollie for an extended stay to care for our dog while we were away and she was absolutely fantastic. Ollie is a senior dog, and he needs twice daily shots of insulin for diabetes, and Jamie managed his care beautifully. Jamie was extremely caring , making sure to keep Ollie well socialized during our absence. She was available in real time to update us, and extremely diligent about ensuring that Ollie was always a happy dog. She was also extremely respectful of our home, which she also took great care of while we were away. We really felt like Jamie treated our dog, and us , like we were her family, and we look forward to working with her again in the future.
I was looking for someone who would stay overnights with Cleo when I have to travel for work. I'm new in town so I had a lot of anxiety about finding someone trustworthy and skilled, but Jaime put all my worries to rest. She is very easy to work with, pays careful attention to all instructions and sends multiple updates during the day. Cleo took to Jaime right away and did very well while I was away. She didn't show any sign of stress, which was my top priority. Everything worked out perfectly. I'm lucky to have found Jaime.

We used J&J PetCare during the summer of 2023 to take care of our two dogs (a yorkie and a chihuahua) over the course of 10 days when we were away, and we couldn't be more impressed with the service! They made apartment visits twice a day for our paper-trained pups, ensuring they were fed, had plenty of fresh water, and were treated to delicious treats. What really stood out was their attention to detail and the love they showed our dogs. They sent us regular videos and pictures, which made us feel so connected to our pups while we were away. It was clear they spent a lot of time playing and engaging with them during each visit, keeping them happy and entertained. Additionally, they always cleaned up the wee wee pads and replaced them with fresh ones, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend J&J Petcare in a heartbeat. Their level of care, communication, and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be using their services again!

I can’t say enough about J&J Pet Care. They are incredibly reliable, professional and trustworthy. We frequently take unplanned weekend get aways, and J&J is able to take our puppy without advance notice. My dog really looks forward to seeing Jorge every morning! I get update pictures from every walk and my little guy comes back very exhausted from the amount of exercise he gets which is great! He’s also learned to use the bathroom outside which is a great success. Now a days it’s very hard to know who to trust with your fur babies. Overall we are happy with the service. J&J walks our dog Coco daily and on most days we get a photo of Coco showing her having a wonderful time on her walk. They are reliable and flexible and have really helped us out in emergencies. It is apparent that they LOVE animals - so gentle and loving with our pets. We highly recommend them. They sent us this photo of Coco on her walk one day (see attached).

Pedro is an excellent dog walker. I have recommended him many times to neighbors and friends without hesitation. He is very attentive, reliable, and caring. I have a senior dog that Pedro has been taking care of (because a great dog walker does more than just walk your dog) for the last four years. He is incredibly patient and loving as she begins to slow down in her golden years. I’m grateful everday I leave the apartment knowing Pedro will be there to exercise and spend time with my beloved dog.
I couldn't be happier with Pedro and Hot Paws Pet Care. My pup can be a bit of a handful so I was a bit nervous about finding a walker for her, but I knew from the moment I met Pedro that she would be in good hands! Pedro is *obviously* a dog-lover and has a lot of patience. He is also extremely communicative and reliable; he has NEVER not shown up for a walk and has never canceled on us. It is SUCH a relief not having to worry about my dog while I'm at work! I also always receive text updates about the walk, which is great. All I know is that my dog absolutely adores Pedro. BOTTOM LINE: You can't go wrong with Hot Paws Pet Care. P.S. While Pedro is our every day walker, I have met two other walkers with Hot Paws Pet Care and both were great, too! It was important to me that my dog could expect the same walker every single day, which Pedro accommodated, but for two days during which Pedro was out of town we had sub walkers. Pedro was gracious enough to give plenty of notice about his trip AND set up a time for me and my dog to meet the sub walkers beforehand to make sure everything would be good. We had Pedro dog-sit our 2 dogs at our wedding recently at Wave Hill in the Bronx. He was TREMENDOUS! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He was amazing to work with and such a great guy. He took phenomenal care of our dogs (1 big dog and 1 little dog). The dogs were honestly upset to be leaving his care at the end of the night. Pedro was a class act. He dressed incredibly well and was such a pleasure to work with. We were so happy we found him!
Pedro has been taking care of our Jack Russell since 2013 and she absolutely loves him. Since Pedro has been with us, we've noticed a reduction in our dog's anxiety around other dogs (and even people), and he and Vincent have always demonstrated a genuine care for her well-being. Pedro and Vincent have been walking my large, lazy dog for nearly 2 years. He is professional, flexible and easy to work with. He is always cheerful and pleasant and really cares about our dog. Our dog can be quite resistant to getting off the couch to walk during the day - especially in the summer or if it's raining - and Hot Paws can always get him happily out the door. They are awesome and a real asset to the neighborhood!
I hired Pedro to take care of my GSD while I was working out of state. Pedro did an excellent job taking care of my pride and joy. He promptly gave me updates every time he completed a walk and kept me up to date on his mood. I even got to FaceTime with my dog which I think help put both our minds at ease.
