Cat Sitters in Tetsworth

Jamie, Eve and their three daughters were the perfect house and pet sitters. Friendly, great communication - I feel incredibly lucky and priveleged to have met them. I have 2 dogs, a cat, 7 chickens, a large garden with many plants and a fish pond. When I came home, the house and garden looked incredible. Everything was super clean, the garden (which takes about an hour a day to water) was thriving in spite of some hot days while I was gone. I admit I'm a little paranoid about leaving Daisy with strangers. Although pretty active, she's 15 and has had spinal surgery. For Ursula, Polly and Amelie it was mutual love of the dogs - they had truly bonded. Both dogs are used to sleeping in the bed with me, but everyone made sure they were comfortable overnight and they happily slept in the bed with one of the girls. When I got home, I think the dogs were a little disappointed to see me! My ony concern is that they've set the bar so high. It will be difficult to find a family who will look after everything so well. I know this is their second trip to Canada. I hope that should they decide to come back, they will get in touch with me. I will arrange to go away just to have them come back to look after things here. I've had housesitters from at least 30 times over the past 12 years. Jamie, Eve and family are the best sitters I've ever had. I would for sure recommend them to anyone with pets of any kind and I'm happy for Jamie and Evie to give future potential sits my contact information if they have any questions.

Zabrina and Ariel were absolutely perfect housesitters and looked after our dog Pumpkin perfectly. They kept us updated every day with messages and photos, we couldn't have asked for more. Rob, Mica and Pumpkin

Emily was a delightful sitter, we returned to an immaculate house, garden and very happy dogs. She kindly came and visited before the sit to discuss our dogs’ special needs (one post-surgery on restricted exercise and the older with dementia) which meant they need lots of attention and play, along with 2x daily medication and multiple short walks. Emily did this and communicated brilliantly, sending pictures every day and reporting on progress. She was sensitive to the dogs needs and changed their routine in response to their behaviour. The house was clean (quite difficult with two dogs spreading mess) and Emily had even offered to shop before we returned. She left us a lovely bottle of wine. We would be delighted to have her sit again. As she is currently local we and the dogs are hoping to see her again soon.

Rory was a delight to deal with from start to finish. Great, clear communication, very organised, left the house immaculate and our cat was very happy. Would thoroughly recommend.

Laura is a lovely, young woman who looked after our cat and our house very well. It was very clean and tidy when we arrived back which we really appreciated. I have no hesitation to recommend Laura for future housesits!

We feel very lucky to have been approached by Robert, a thoroughly nice guy, incredibly interesting and knowledgeable on so many subjects- it was a pleasure to have him at the dinner table. Widget has been looked after very well and was at ease and happy on our return. I know he made Robert wait for his affections, and although I am a thoroughly biased owner in knowing that Widget is worth waiting for, Robert displayed patience, kindness and a keen interest in what was best for Widget. Communication was excellent from the off and we had photos and updates whenever we wanted. The house was lovely and clean and well maintained on our return. In summary, a fantastic guy, great house guest, a wonderful, warm pet carer- and an all round good egg. A big fat 5 stars🌟

Salomi did a wonderful job minding our nervous black cat Minnie for over two weeks. Minnie was well cared for and happy when we returned. We came back to a clean and tidy house and even some fresh food thoughtfully left for us, which was great as we had an overnight flight. This was our first experience of having a pet sit and we certainly will be hoping Salomi would consider another pet sit for us in the future.

Steven, Judith and their daughters Rose and Esther were wonderful house sitters. We communicated well from the very beginning and had daily updates during our time away. On our return, the house was beautifully clean and tidy. Judith had baked a delicious apple pie to welcome us home. The girls took on responsibilities for the chickens and ducks as well as the honesty box at the top of the drive. Steven did a great job in the garden. He picked all of our apples that would otherwise have fallen in the windy conditions and rescued our crop of carrots from marauding rabbits. The lawns were also nicely mowed. This had been a rather challenging house sit for various reasons. Firstly, our beloved Rosie had sadly died just a few weeks before they came. Una was therefore on her own so she enjoyed walks and lots of loving attention. Secondly, one of horses, Cubley, developed a sore hind foot just a few days before the house sit which necessitated both Blue and Cubley being on stable rest throughout the house sit. Even though this was an unexpected level of responsibility, they took on the challenge willingly and coped well in the circumstances. Finally, we had been having some unresolved issues with the heating system. Steven showed initiative and contacted the heating engineers independently. Given these unexpected issues, Steven, Judith and their girls were wonderful and took everything on board as far as they could. We are sorry that they had more responsibilities than originally agreed and hope that this did not detract from their experience. We would certainly welcome them back to our home at a time when hopefully circumstances are back to normal.

Daphnee was friendly and she was able to manage situations that arose on the sit well. We had a boiler perosn come to fix the boiler and she was able to inform us promptly that one of the cats needd to to go to the vets. Our accoomadation was well looked after and it was a pleasure to come back to a clean and tidy place.

Ai is the second pet sitter I invited into my home and I could not be happier to have chosen her. She was at ease as soon as she arrived and settled straight away. My cat Cookie took to her too. During my ten days away Ai communicated with me every day to update me. I was very grateful. Ai knew Cookie loves to be brushed, it helped to become best friends!! Thank you Ai for taking good care of my cat and my home too.

Loved having Nicky to sit again, can't fault her care for our pets and respect of our home! Hope you'll be able to help again soon. Safe travels!
