Laura and her parents spent a long weekend with my senior cat. We had great communication before and after the sit. I didn't receive any updates or photos while I was away (I also didn't specifically request that,) so if you like photos and updates, be sure to ask. 😉 I felt confident that my cat and home were being well-taken care of, and I assumed all was going well and that everything had been addressed and discussed before the sit. Aside from pet care, I'm learning that different sitters perform different levels and tasks of cleaning and tidying up, so I'd recommend having a conversation with your sitter before the sit to discuss and negotiate your expectations upon returning home from a trip....
What a pleasure to have this lovely family stay at our home and take care of the ducks and cats! I was so impressed by their reviews my husband and I decided to give it a try. The whole family came to meet us in person and get the low down on animal care a couple weeks before the sit. I greatly appreciated this. They were personable, friendly and very attentive to the detailed instructions on care. Had excellent communication before and after. They took great care of the house and it was so nice to come home to a clean and settled place. We were out of reception during the week they were here and they handled everything beautifully! Loved getting the picture of the kiddos holding our male duck, Jupiter! This family is super inspiring and more than capable. Thank You so much!!

Amazing sit!! We loved taking care of Khistuk - she is such a lovely friendly dog. She will warm your heart in no time - just look into her eyes :) She was definitely a star on every walk, people wanted to pet her. She is very gentle and shy from time to time. All communication with Raffi & Loric was easy, pleasant, fast and straightforward. We stayed connected through their trip sharing Khistuk photos etc. The apartment is cozy and has everything you need. Location is perfect, very close to everything you may need and walking distance to many stores and cafes. I will be happy to come back any time in the future. 1000% recommended!
Beth and Andre provided everything I needed for the sit and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Sophie and Pippa are two little characters who take to you immediately, and are fantastic company. The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. Seconds from the park, and minutes from the tube, Oxford Street, and Edgware Road, with all thinkable amenities close by. Thanks guys!
Sampson is such a sweetheart! He’s a bit of a nervous boy but oh so precious. He’s pretty easy to care for and was happy to lounge around with me just as much as he was to go explore and play fetch in the fields. Be prepared that he will lunge at cars/bikes/people sometimes so you’ll want to keep a firm grip. I found it preferable to just take him on a nice stroll through the fields right behind the house. So gorgeous and peaceful! Timarie and Patrick were lovely and communicative hosts, and the room and bathroom were so comfy and clean! Timarie gave me great suggestions for brunch spots and they were kind enough to give me a ride to/from Cambridge. As I think other reviewers have said, this sit is quite far out of town so it would be easier with a car as there isn’t much in walking distance. Although the pub that’s about a 6 min walk away is lovely with two cozy fireplaces in winter!
We could have asked for a better sit. Daniel and his family were incredibly welcoming and their house was gorgeous. They were in a super convenient location so we were able to spend time in Dallas and Fort Worth. They also had a gym, sauna and massage chair so we left feeling amazing! We had the best time with their animals. Sadie was just the sweetest girl. Nico and Luna were really fun and loved a snuggle. The two kitties Boots and Gabby were really affectionate and loved being around us and the pups. And Smokey the bird was hilarious. We loved his commentary! Thanks again Daniel. We would love to look after your fur babies again one day!
We had a great stay with the 3 amigos, they barked a lot when we arrived but soon settled down, and loved a sofa cuddle. Annette and Dave were great, very welcoming and provided us with a lovely meal on the day we arrived. The house was lovely and very well equipped. There were lovely walks across fields from the house which the boys loved, they were excited to be going out each time we took them out, it was lovely to see. We did have lovely weather so were able to get out and about the lovely county of Northamptonshire, we also visited a number of National Trust properties in the area.
