I was away for three weeks and it was also my first time using Zeewoi so I was naturally a bit nervous leaving Tiger, my cat, for such a long time. I needn’t have worried as Karen looked after Tiger extremely well, so much so that it seems he became great friends with Karen and even slept on her bed most nights. Karen also fed the birds outside and kept the house in order. On my return, Karen had gone to a lot of trouble to clean the house….it was like a show home! Of course it was also lovely to be greeted by a happy and healthy Tiger. I would have no hesitation in recommending Karen and would be delighted to have her back.

Natasha

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND; Unfortunately, our experience of Natasha and her partner is sadly not that others appear to have had. We needed a sitter for two nights to care for our two dogs, two elderly cats and house while we had a couple of nights away for our youngest son’s wedding. Our usual house sitters weren’t available, and we had arranged for another sitter from zeewoi but just a few weeks from the wedding she had to pull out due to ill health. I republished the dates and Natasha applied. We arranged a video call as I always want to do this prior to agreeing for a sitter so I can meet them beforehand especially if they are not local and able to visit prior to the sit. It was only going to be Natasha and her son Colby and not her partner that were going to do the sit so the video call was only with her. Natasha and Colby arrived, and I ran through all the instructions for the house and pets and in particular that as we have several acres of land that the dogs were to be inside after dark. I left happy in the knowledge that Natasha and Colby were looking forward to a quiet evening watching a movie. Having enjoyed a family dinner and heading off to bed to get some sleep before the big day I notice several notifications on my phone from my external home security cameras. This was at 10.30pm and after dark and I notice that my little dog was out the front of the property and had been there since 10pm and no one was letting him even though he was barking. I then checked the other camera notifications, and I was shocked to not only see a man at my property, but he was exiting a rear patio door that was wide open with loud music coming from the room he had just left, and he was undressed. This room is my husband’s special room that holds a lot of his memorabilia from his early life which is important to us as a family as he now has dementia. I felt physically sick imagining what was going on in my property and especially this room. I contacted Natasha to ask what was going on and why were the dogs out when I had given specific instructions for them to be inside and who was the man at my property that I had not given permission to be there. She confirmed it was her partner and that he had inadvertently let the dogs out!!! I was furious but it was too late to do anything then, but I didn’t sleep all night worrying about my home and pets. In the morning, I managed to contact some friends who kindly rearranged their plans and took over. Natasha was asked to vacate the property as I needed to be happy that my home and pets were in good hands to be able to enjoy my son’s special day. This couple broke all the rules for being a Zeewoi, they were dishonest, and were disrespectful and I feel like they violated our property, they did not care for our pets as they had been asked and have tarnished the memory of our son’s wedding day. I would not recommend or trust them as sitters.

It is not easy looking after a large house and animals in the blistering summer heat in Cyprus. However Joey and Samuel proved to be reliable, sensible, very trustworthy and confidently cared for our rescue gang. They are two very interesting decent “gentlemen”. We can highly recommend them and would not hesitate to have them housesit for us again. The house was left in excellent condition. =

This was our first time with housesitters and Libby and Peter were amazing! They were reassuring before we left, came to meet us and the dogs and arrived at the house soon after we'd left. They sent photos and messages while we were away which put us at ease. The dogs loved them and were very well cared for. The house was exactly how we left it, the plants were well looked after and they had even washed the bedding and towels. Would definitely recommend Libby and Peter.

Carole

Carole & David were brilliant house sitters. They looked after our much loved Labrador. He was looking very fit and healthy when we returned. They sent us many photos of their walks, which was so reassuring that he was happy and well. Everything in the house was perfect when we returned.

Steph & Jonny

Steph and her partner Jonny sat with our two elderly rescue cats for seven weeks and were absolute superstars. Steph was communicative beforehand, agreeing to a zoom call so we could explain responsibilities and nuances about the cats. We also really appreciated her flexibility on dates as we finalised our plans. Because of the length of the stay, there were a lot of additional tasks (e.g. cleaning water fountains, fully cleaning litter trays) which she took in her stride. There was also an unexpected task of replacing the cat flap when a neighbour cat broke in, which Steph and Jonny handled self sufficiently and with admirable calm. We are so grateful to them for their support and hope to have them back in future!!

Jeanette

Jeanette was very friendly, trustworthy and easy to get on with immediately. She showed the greatest of care of interest and care in my cat’s welfare, well-being and needs. Cecilia was very happy to go to her as soon as they met so I knew she was in very safe hands. She was so well-looked after! Everything was left immaculately and bedding and towels were washed and dried. Jeanette left a lovely message about her stay. I really hope she comes again and Cecilia would be thrilled to have her back!

Sophia & Daniel

Sophia and family are 5 Star. Lily was well and happy in their care, and definitely well loved. A meeting with us before our departure was much appreciated and reassuring, too. Sophia left our home spotless, washed the bed linen and made our homecoming so pleasurable. Hurrah for Sophia and family 👏 Please come again 😁

Sophie and Jacob were really great house and petsitters, looking after our house rabbit Benji really well and keeping us updated with photos. They were really easy to communicate with and very responsive. They are also really lovely people. V much recommend!

Jess & Anton

Jess and Anton were completely wonderful (I say "were", I imagine they still are!). They looked after our pet family absolutely beautifully, they really understand animals and gave ours so much love and attention. They also left the house much tidier than when they arrived, and were brilliant at communicating. They are completely fantastic, if you are lucky enough to persuade them to sit for you, then you are very lucky indeed. They are just delightful, friendly, open and at the same time frighteningly competent.... I do hope they'll be able to sit for us again some time.

We had the pleasure of house and pet sitting for Candy, and it was an incredible experience! Candy was welcoming and provided clear instructions, making my stay seamless. Gracie and Pepper, her adorable cats, were a joy to look after. They are sweet, affectionate, and full of personality. We got very attached to the cats especially Gracie as she is older and needed extra care and love.  Candy and I discussed that we would stay in touch even after the sit. Gill and Phil welcomed us and made us feel extremely comfortable in their home. 
They have a lovely house overlooking farmland set in a gorgeous and extremely friendly little village. Their is a pub and a cafe but no general store so your own transport is recommended.
Gill and Phil provided everything we needed to care for their dogs. They also took the time to share their local knowledge, advising us of things we could do and see in the area to ensure we we also had an enjoyable country break.
Finn and Blue were a pleasure to care for. They both have friendly and loving natures. They walked well on the lead and traveled easily in the car. This meant we could explore both the walks immediately on our doorstep but also areas a little further away.
While they are both well trained generally Blue being 6 months old was still developing these skills. However hes smart and adorable and it was not a challenge but alot of fun to practice and watch him continue to improve.

We would definately return to this sit if asked again.

Claire

Claire was really welcoming and communicative throughout the whole stay. The handover was really thorough. 

Mollie is the sweetest and gentlest older dog we have had the pleasure of spending time with and very adaptable. We needed to be patient with Mollie at times as she was slow and steady and sometimes the kids were tested with this 😂 She loved cuddles and slept the majority of the day.

The home was very comfortable and tidy and everything we needed for an enjoyable stay was provided.

We had a great time with Higgins and Basil and I would recommend this sit to anyone. 
Randy and Milana are very kind and welcoming and explained everything very clearly and answered all our questions promptly. Their house and pool is great, in a safe neighborhood and they have everything you need. 

Basil and Higgins are lovely and very well behaved. Higgins loves to play and is definitely more active. He will follow you around eventually and give you lots of love. Basil loves to be petted and will demand endless cuddles 🥰. We had the best time with them and we will definitely miss them a lot. 

If you get the opportunity to house sit for Randy and Milana you are very lucky.

Christian’s house was beautiful, centrally located and relaxing for my time spent in Toronto. His cats, Dibu and Uma, warmed up to me pretty quickly and were the sweetest, attentive cats especially when I was working from their office. I’d definitely recommend staying with them. Christian was easy to communicate and is a great host.

Sybil

We just finished a 6 week sit with the most adorable cuddly Mr. Toes and we already miss him so much. Sybil was the perfect host, she made us so welcome and even left us a pizza, milk and some fruit so we had something to eat when we arrived after a long journey. 
Her communication was brilliant and we had everything we needed. The house was clean and cosy and in a lovely quiet spot overlooking the field with her horses. 
I hope we'll get to come and look after Toes again one day as we very much fell in love with him ❤️
