We enjoyed our stay at Laura's home in the New Forest. The house is very comfortable and Lola is very friendly - she enjoys being with you.
We looked after Pop and Coco for three nights at the last minute. They were no trouble at all, Pop was pleased to see us and happily came to us for a stroke and a chat (she makes beautiful noises!). Coco was much more wary of us but we were told to expect this. Barbara left clear instructions for the cats routine. She very kindly gave us recommendations for the local area and offered us the use of her bikes, kayak and hot tub. She has a beautiful house and garden in rural Normandy and I would definitely return to look after the cats if she needed a sitter in the future.
Beth and Pete's place was an excellent stay. They are both very kind and welcoming. The house is spacious and comfortable. With a great kitchen for cooking and we felt truly at home. The guest room had its own en suite, and the bed was huge! There is a fabulous garden. Which has something quite unexpected and special in it. (That's all I am saying) :p~ The garden has plenty of room for you to throw a Kong for Oscar, just make sure you have another in your hand, ready to do it again on his return with the first one, which he loves, and has bounds of energy, which makes him a great walking buddy. There is an abundance of great walks, literally on the doorstep. Dear Bertie, he is the geriatric of the family. Very sweet with a hearty appetite. But not so good on his feet anymore. It was a pleasure to chaperone him out into the garden as and when needed. Winnie has got the most beautiful eyes and was very easy to care for, and even came and sat with us for a fuss on a couple of occasions, which was lovely. Tideswell is a great village with a good selection of eateries within easy walking distance. And it has a great vibe. We loved our stay here. And we highly recommend it.
Mary Beth provides very clear instructions, positive attitude and good communication Thank you
Annabel is very welcoming and responsive to any questions! Her place is so cute and Dolly is a sweetheart.
This sit was a wonderful experience. Beck is adorable and easy to care for and love. He adapted quickly and loved his walks and cuddles. Sharon’s home is very comfortable and we had all we needed. Her house is close to great restaurants and local attractions. Sharon provided this information in the “Guide” and she was so right! If you have opportunity to take care of Beck in Sharon’s lovely home, grab it!
