The most wonderful week looking after the gorgeous Minnie. A lovely family to dog and housesit for!
Sarah was great and did everything to make us feel.comfortable. she was contactable for the whole house sit and would recommend to anyone. Minnie the cat is super cuddly and friendly, magnus is a true gent, if you see mouse then you are really lucky and she is super sweet. Matilda is the lady of the house and the arrangement Sarah has with the vet is excellent.
We had a fantastic time looking after Cosmo and Pluto in Tish’s home over the summer. We felt instantly at home in Tish’s lovely house in Otley. Cosmo & Pluto were great to look after, they’ve got quite different but great little personalities. There very well behaved around the house and when out walking. Tish’s house is located in a beautiful part of Yorkshire (15 minute walk from the centre of Otley town) The area is spoilt for beautiful walks to take the dogs on and boasts many pretty close by little towns to explore such as Otley and Ilkley. We’d highly recommend looking after the boys, you’ll have a fantastic time. Thanks again Tish!
I had an amazing stay at Cristin & Alireza’s beautiful home. They were warm & welcoming and wonderful to get to know. Watching Harper, Juniper and Calvin was a breeze. They are the sweetest pets ever! The area is fantastic, especially if you like to walk around the city. I always felt very safe! I look forward to sitting for them again soon 🩵
Awesome stay! It was my first time caring for a bird like Austral but Richard made it super simple. Once he got used to me it was easy! Great, comfy home - would recommend :)
We had a lovely time in Durham watching Doug and Heidi's Great Eight. We found it to be a low maintenance sit, given the large number of pets, and we would highly recommend this sit to others. We never met Doug and Heidi in person but communication with them was super easy. From our video interview with them, they gave us really good vibes. They were fun and polite and obviously very grateful. Their welcome guide was comprehensive and they also sent us helpful instructional videos and left written instructions in the form of a printed book. We arrived to find some treats they left for us as a thank you for our services. Throughout the sit they were clear, responsive, and frequently expressed gratitude for our updates. The Great Eight is a wonderfully cohesive group of pets that did not once give us heartache. Pepper the dog is the undisputed star of the show. She is an absolute cuttle bug with the adorable face of a flying fox, all she wants is love. Grand Paw and Howl are two smaller old man dogs. Howl is a real sweetheart and Grand Paw was also very affectionate. Sometimes Grand Paw would get territorial around the couch but it amounted to nothing more than barking at a cat or two. Gary the Lady was the most freindly of the cats, frequently climbing behind a headrest or even onto our laps during quiet evenings. Next was Appa, the orange boy cat who wanted love from everybody, especially Pepper! Milk and Shake are the foodie sisters of the bunch, with Shake being a little more affectionate and Milk being a little more curious. Finally there is Middens, the tiny orange lady cat who runs the master bedroom. She was a little prickly, but is all meow and no claw. We found the house to be immaculately cleaned, an impressive feat given the number of pets. It was legitimately cleaner than a lot of hotels and AirBnB's we have been to. All of the pet supplies were easily accessible and we found the kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, spices, etc. There was everything we needed for our time there. They had a nice big TV, comfy couch, a PS4, and a huge collection of iconic movies that puts any streaming service to shame. There was a catio and a nice sizable cat-proofed backyard with cat and doggie doors. The area is really nice. The immediate neighborhood is quiet and we found it especially pretty with the colors of spring. It was easy and even fun walking the dogs around, exploring the area. We never actually went into Durham City proper, but that's because everything we needed was a short drive away. There were some really beautiful parks nearby that we visited and there was a lot more we wish we had the time to explore. Overall, this was a really great sit. We felt surrounded by so much love and taking care of all the pets never became overwhelming. It's a great sit and we couldn't recommend it more!
