Natalia and Yamil welcomed me wholeheartedly into their lovely home. The communication was smooth, they were responsive to all my questions, providing me with a detailed manual as well as plenty of additional information. They are friendly and have a really good sense of humor. I enjoyed my stay a lot! One day before the actual house sit, we met in person, and I was able to meet Shiva, who was very relaxed and warm in the presence of her parents. On the same evening, we were able to establish a connection and ease ourselves slowly into what would turn out to be one of the best days I've spent house-sitting in Madrid. The first couple of days, she had her concerns about the new lady in the house, but eventually, she gained trust and soon spent her first nights sleeping on the bed next to me. Shiva has a distinguished but loving character, knows her boundaries very well, and communicates them clearly. She isn't much of a lap cat until you get to know her properly; then, she turns into one cute little loving kitten, awaiting her cuddles. I strongly recommend bribing her with her favorite brush and some wet food, but mostly, just be patient and able to handle rejection, provide enough space and time for her to feel comfortable and relaxed enough to stop seeing you as a threat. From there on, there will be no problems. She is easy to care for. I will miss her a lot! The apartment is situated in a nice and calm neighborhood, with 3 or 4 different metro stations close by. Lidl, as well as several small grocery stores, are located within short walking distance. Their home is cozy and offers everything you need to have a pleasant stay. It was my pleasure to meet Natalia, Yamil, and pet-sit their lovely little goddess, Shiva. Thank you for trusting me! :)
Loved this sit with Chaka and Maple! They were a perfect match for us, leading us up trails and through the woods with great energy and perfect dog manners. (These two are very well-trained: easy to take in the car, around other dogs, and in “people settings”. ) The house was very comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to all that Truckee and the surrounding national forest have to offer. Last but not least, the homeowners are wonderful, sharing local info and directions to trails and places we wanted to explore. A great stay!
They are a very nice family, both Ashlea and Matt were very kind to us at all times, they left everything perfect for us to take care of their house and their pets, it has been a good experience, we are very grateful, we love Luna the kitten
This was my first sit and it was a complete joy! Tily is a little angel so easy snd so loving! I have to say the bed was incredibly comfortable. The house was spotless and organized. I loved walking the neighborhood. Communication was perfect. This is a fabulous sit!!! Thank you for the opportunity to explore a neighborhood in Denver!
It was a very nice sit, Max the dog and the 3 cats are all lovely, they like cuddles and company and they are easy to look after. They got used to me quickly. Sarah-Jane and Nigel are very friendly. Nigel explained everything to me when I first arrived so it was all clear and straight forward, he even left written instructions which is always helpful. He showed me around the town so I knew where to go. Their home is right next to a pink salt lake, it's a beautiful place to walk, and their rooftop terrace has a nice view to the lake as well. The city of Torrevieja which is a little further down has a lot of beaches. There are a lot of shops and restaurant within easy walking distance. It really was a nice experience, and I will miss Max, Licorice, Pedro and Lucy.
We had a wonderful stay and recommend them highly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the four doggies, Leo, Flo, Nico and Nori. They were such loving and fun dogs and they were well mannered and very easy to sit. Tracey and Michaels home and family were wonderfully welcoming and hospitable and we were treated as friends. We felt very at home and you could not ask for a more appointed home. Their home is located in a cute village with very convenient shop, pub and train access. We would absolutes sit for them again and will remain in contact
