It was a pleasure to look after Peanut and Pepper. These two cats were so sweet and affectionate. They do enjoy some playtime, but mostly like to sleep and cuddle with you and each other. Matthias and Delaney were very nice and very easy to communicate with before the sit started and throughout. There are great places to eat, have coffee, hike, shop and much more. I would recommend this sit to anyone.
Jan and Bill couldn't have been nicer. I stayed in the downstairs "apartment" while they got ready for their 3-week road adventure and enjoyed dinner and conversation with them both the night before. Knowing that i was a fellow traveler, Jan shared some of the highlights of their adventure with me along the way while I shared with her some of the adventures I was having with Jamie, Ziggy and Poppy, their three charming cats. They were endless entertainment, especially Jamie who followed me around all day like a dog and would flop down at my feet and roll over on his back whenever I stopped long enough so that I could rub his belly. He kept close company with me throughout my stay and was a devoted friend. Their house was nicely situated on a hill within Seattle proper with a beautiful view of Lake Washington just below. A large porch outside and full-wall windows inside made it easy to appreciate the view. Many places of interest and support were easy to bicycle or walk to and ample hiking opportunities in the Cougar Mountain WIldland Park were a relatively short drive away. Upon their return, Jan gave me presents of some very nice teas she picked up in a tea shop she had found in New Mexico as well as few other things to take home with me as a thank you. All in all, it was a delightful experience and the three weeks went by quickly. I look forward to visiting again whenever I find myself in Seattle and am happy to recommend them to anyone.
What a great sitting experience! Not only was Charlene an amazing host, I now consider her a friend! I HIGHLY recommend sitting for Taffy (I call her Laffy Taffy because she does “the zoomies” through the room and it’s hysterical). As for the home itself… 🤯 A whole wall of glass to view the water and dock. Absolutely breathtaking! The pictures of Charlene’s home do it no justice. Very easy and relaxing sit.
I got the privilege to be able to care and love on Remi. She is a sweet dog. She has a bit of anxiety but it makes her all the more lovable, you just need a little patience and kindness. She is an energetic pups who likes to play ball, belly rubs and aims to please you. Her and Theo (my pup) really enjoyed each other and played well together. Susan was easy to work with and gave clear instructions. Their wonderful home was conveniently located in a great neighborhood with easy access to highway and surrounding areas. I would definitely watch Remi again.

What a smart, effective, generous trainer Doreen is. It’s not just that she’s so clearly knowledgeable and experienced, but that she really took the time to understand the interplay between Boo, our pup, and us as his people (we needed training too). And she brings a wonderful balance of firmness and love to the training sessions. Boo is a rescue with a lot of southern hound in him. He’s VERY puppy but Doreen’s approach has worked wonders for all of us. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
Doreen was very helpful with my yellow Labrador Josie. She gave clear instructions and showed me simple and direct ways to use them. Her methods are as much for the owner as for the dog! I would recommend her to anyone who needs training for their dog.
Doreen has a true passion for animals. Her patient ways, focus and dedication to training results in wonderful pets. She first trained our beloved Frisco. He was just amazingly well behaved, understanding verbal commands and hand commands—and we could take him anywhere even though he was a large dog. We then asked her to train our rescue pups (brother and sister). They too are beloved members of our family and we always get compliments on how well they behave. We could not have done it without Doreen. They are all large dogs that needed training. It was the best decisions to hire a professional that knew the right techniques for each of the dogs. We will always be grateful. Doreen has a gift and we are the lucky ones that get to enjoy that gift because we get well behaved dogs that become very special members of our family.
Taking lessons with Doreen has been the best thing we could have done for ourselves and our pup. We and Bear have learned so much in only a few lessons it’s been tremendous. Doreen has been amazing to watch interact with Bear - he just understood what she wanted very quickly and we were able to follow up on those instructions. It had been a long time since we’d dealt with a young puppy. When we brought Maia home, we fast felt overwhelmed. Doreen came in and, with simple but effective solutions, took the stress away. Maia is 11 months now, and not without her challenges, but getting things right in those early days made all the difference, to set us up for success. We did a dog training cram course via YouTube university in the two weeks before our new puppy Archie arrived. We were prepared... on paper. As per the 3-3-3 rule, after three weeks with us our docile rescue pup suddenly turned into a velociraptor/land shark. He was still sweet & we were glad he wasn't scared any more, but also overwhelmed & unsure whether any of our chairs & clothes would survive his adolescence. We were smart. We called Doreen. At our introductory training session, we learned even more than Archie did. Doreen provided us with a framework upon which we can build a deeper relationship with our dog while helping him learn to listen & build impulse control. We all still have a lot to learn, but now we know how to go about it & whenever we get stuck again, we know who to call. Thank you, Doreen! You changed everything for the better.
Doreen's knowledge of dogs- their instincts, their behaviors, combined with (maybe as a result of)her overwhelming love of them makes her an invaluable resource if you want to have the best relationship with your k9 you can have! I thought I had a good understanding of my pup but Doreen provided so much great insight. It was as if I was viewing my pup under a 40 watt bulb, and she unscrewed it gave me a 100 watt!! A lot of "ah-ha" moments, even for an old school know it all like me!! Highly recommend!!

Doreen is by far the best Dog Trainer of all time! Doreen has infinite patience for her four-legged students as well as the two legged owner, in my case, needed more training than the dog!Beyoncé’s is a sweet miniature poodle puppy who was in need of guidance and consistency which Doreen gave us and she has grown up to be the sweetest pup! We also have an elderly mixed breed who also learned quite a bit from Doreen! She has infinite patience with Beyoncé, as well as Charlie her elderly counterpart. They learned how to sit, stay, etc all the basics and we also received tips and recommendations concerning house training and also basic day-to-day behavior concerning the dogs getting along. Doreen was there every step of the way, and still is. If I have questions concerning how to proceed with Beyoncé‘s training or behavior Doreen is the expert I reach out to!
Angel paws and Doreen are a Godsend. I called her for help, knowing I may not be able to save my dog. She talked to me, listened intently and gave me direction. Our dog Biscuit seems very at home when she stays at Dawn's Dog Boarding. We can see this through the photos shared and observing her being completely relaxed when she returns home. The setting is clean, provides plenty of exercise and good TLC. Dawn and her staff keep our dog safe by introducing her to the pack in small groups when she arrives and matching her with similar energy levels for her stay. Our 5 year old dog has been staying with Dawn since he was a puppy - it is his home away from home! We've brought our small dog to Dawn about 3 times now, for up to a week, and she's absolutely our go-to person for this. She tends to the dogs like they were her own children, I'd say. No cages here - just big open spaces and socializing.

I did not know about Dawn until a few days ago. I ran in to a big problem as I was staying with family as I had an emergency and my family loved my dog but the landlord says that dogs are not aloud do to insurance so my family was told my dog had to go or they had to go. My family helped me by asking everyone they knew if they could take my dog then I was looking for a dog boarding near me and I found Dawn. I called her and left a message and she called me back in a quick amount of time. I explained to her what was going on and because she was on her way out the door for the day to meet up with friends she could not take my dog that night. Dawn did let me bring my dog the next morning. I was late getting to her and she understood. My sweet Hazel got to be around other dogs and got a lot of exercise. I would recommend her to all. Dawn gave me some information that I did not know and she gave me very good information. I will be using her again when I need a spot for my sweet Hazel to go when she can not be with us her loving family. Thank You for all you do for my sweet Hazel and all the other dogs as well. I would give you more stars as I feel that 5 stars are not enough as you are way more then 5 stars.

Erica has been our GO TO Zookeeper for when we are away for a while now...we have a golden puppy, a corgi puppy and our old lady a shitzu/bichon mix as well as 2 cats...she has always taken the absolute BEST care of them when we are away, she spends time with them, plays with them, sends pics and updates for us and will even do overnights if available. We never have to worry about our "zoo" when we are on vacation while Erica is around...she is the absolute best! Wouldn't have anyone else taking care of these guys :)
Erica looked after my two cats while I was on a short trip recently. It was my first time traveling since I had moved to this area, so I had to find a new pet sitter, which is always stressful. BEST PET SITTER EVER! Hello All. I just wanted to take a moment to share my recommendation to anyone who is looking for a Pet Sitter. I don't normally take the time to do these things but this woman went so far above and beyond for our 18 year old Cat, Socks that I swear, she may have just saved her life. Her name is Erica ("Go-To Pet Care" on Instagram) and she was not only a "cat-whisperer" to our Sweet Kitty who had serious abandonment issues after being nearly starved to death by our last pet-sitter. So, needless to say, our family was EXTREMELY concerned about having to leave our Cat for another week this year. After literally hours of research I kept coming back to Erica with her many reviews (including from 2 Families that I know personally) and seeing that she had even taken an Animal Care Course (which considering our Cat is on 5 different Medicines and Vitamins that need to be given in different ways at different times a day since last year's debacle, is an EXTREME PLUS), we decided to Contact Erica for a Meet-And-Greet. Thank goodnes we did because from the moment she arrived, between her instant connection with our Cat and the immediate ease that I sensed with her in our home and in her abilities, I knew we had found our Cat Savior! And not only did our cat do well throughout our vacation (proof of which was texted daily including sweet pictures and our own indoor Camera monitoring our Cat's Feeding Area (Of course with our blessing from Erica prior to us hiring her), she actually GAINED WEIGHT which we have been CONSTANTLY trying to do for our Cat with the help of our Vet since we Adopted her 7 years ago as a malnourished older and wary Cat. And that, along with the fact that our home pet feeding area and litterbox area were actually CLEANER than when we left them, the fact that she spent over a half hour playing with our Cat and giving her lots of love each and attention each visit and the fact that she reached out to us about a week later to make sure Socks was still doing well, is the reason that WE WILL ALWAYS REQUEST HER FOR ANY ADDITIONAL PET SITTING NEEDS THAT WE MAY HAVE! We would even request her to take care of our home if we were taking our pet with us, as I couldn't feel more comfortable knowing our home and anyone and everything in it will be in the best possible hands. I apologize for my Reference being so "wordy" but I am just so happy to have found Erica for our needs and I would love to know that maybe I could help others who may be looking for that "special someone" that they could trust for all of their Fur-Baby(ies) needs!

After have a few bad experiences with other groomers (Petco and a private one) we decided to get them a shot. The person who returned my call was so friendly and kind she eased some of my concerns and made sure I know my pup would be taken care of probably. Lauren who cuts her always dose an amazing job!
Lauren has been grooming my tiny goldendoodle (mostly poodle) for 8+ months and she does a fantastic job. He’s a puppy and very wiggly yet she is so patient with him. She treats him so gentle and kind and gives a great cut every time. Really great customer service too! Highly recommend!
If you have a dog with double-backed fur, DO NOT trust in their professionalism with how to groom your fur baby. My two Shelties were shaved from head to toe bald.
As usual, Kris and her staff were terrific. They do such a great job with my dog...who has lots of hair and doesn't like the dryer. Also, while a chain groomer had difficulty trimming her nails, Kris and her staff make it look easy.

I brought my daughter 's miniature schnauzer to get groomed and they did a wonderful job. A very nice groomer that listened to the particular style of cut she wanted and we loved how it came out.

Unbelievably unprofessional. The blond/ashen gray broad has the nastiest disposition. Why do you offer a service, like nail trim, if you avoid the client's who schedule that service. Then, to get stank over the phone with someone who's been coming there for seven years, how ballsy for the small town success story. The irony can't be lost that, I'm sure I was the only Black person who sought services from this place. I tipped $3-$4 on a $5-$10 trim where a vein was clipped and my dog's nails weren't even filed, just clipped and jagged. She didn't even remember his name, would ask his name almost every time yet, I would stand there watching her gushing over the other people pushing their way inside. The favoritism in this weird little place is extraordinary.
Tessa has helped to completely transform our lives and the life of our dog!! We felt desperately helpless to our dogs' reactivity when we first started. For many years our dog struggled to simply exist without fear - we could never introduce her to anyone in our lives without her becoming completely overwhelmed and walks were dreaded out of fear of her lunging and barking at other dogs. Tessa met us in our overwhelm with such empathy and understanding, gently guiding us to acquire more understanding not just of what to do but why we were doing it. We learned to read our dogs cues, intuit her needs, confidently advocate for her, and help her build resilience and honor her recovery. She helped us to change our frame of mind from seeing everything that was going wrong to seeing small - and eventually large - wins everyday. Today, our dog has a huge toolbox of skills to help her in moments of overwhelm or fear, she is engaged, trusting, and responsive with us, and she moves so much more confidently. With Tessa's help we even navigated a move from rural NY to a major metropolitan area without too much distress! We are eternally grateful to Tessa for supporting us in learning to provide a life for a dog in which she doesn't have to live in fear.
I have had my two dogs in training with Tessa at Hudson Valley Hounds since the summer of 2024. I contacted Tessa because I was beginning to have trouble managing the behaviors of my dogs - one has severe anxiety, and the other needs help with impulse control. Tessa comes for lessons in my home on a weekly basis. She is prompt, communicative, professional, and extremely talented. Nearly every suggestion that Tessa gives is targeted to a specific behavior and seems to work instantly, and when we are still struggling with certain behaviors, Tessa is happy to revisit the strategies suggested. She gives us homework to do throughout the week, and when I consistently do the homework, I see consistent results. Each time she leaves my house, I am in awe of Tessa's ability to interpret my dog's behaviors and develop targeted plans for each of my very different dogs. Tessa is a great trainer. She is very patient and calm, and helps you through the many steps it takes to train your dog. She is encouraging and supportive. And her use of positive reinforcement worked amazingly well for both our younger dog (who was in great need of training!) and as a brush up for our older dog too. Tessa changed our family for the better. Our buddy, Rino, came into our home as a 5-month-old Cattle Dog mix from Tennessee who was bewildered by the chaos of New York City. Fortunately, Tessa educated my wife and I in how to provide the particular tools and specific structure that would be help Rino thrive in our mad human world. He is now 3.5 and brimming with daily happiness. He has grown into such a polite and confidence young dog that we have been able to pay Tessa's lessons forward to other adopters who could use guidance in helping their dogs adapt to living in the city. What's more, Rino was with us as we welcomed a new human to the family, and his tutelage under Tessa has empowered him to effortlessly stand as a perfectly gentle, playful, irresistibly lovable older brother. Our dog and our family are happier for having met and worked with Tessa.
We would like to give Tessa of Hudson Valley Hounds TEN stars, but Google only lets us give 5. Tessa has been wonderful to work with these past few years with multiple cases of our in our rescue program. She is attentive, knowledgable, patient and so very thoughtful. Scheduling sessions is always a breeze and both our fosters and adopters have enjoyed working with her. Most importantly, our dogs really like her too, and we see results! In a world filled with balanced "bro" trainers, working with a professional who understands the science behind force free, positive reinforcement training has been vital for the success and safety of our dogs and the humans caring for them. I’d never trained a dog before and didn’t realize what it takes! Tessa has been training me and my reactive 2-year-old cattle dog Ziggy and I’m so grateful to Tessa for all the progress we’ve made. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, positive, and supportive. The training has helped Ziggy build skills to be more relaxed and engaged, and really fostered my bond with her. Tessa has also been very patient with me and given me the skills I need to train Ziggy. Sometimes I say to Tessa, “you want me to do what?”, but when I do I always see the benefit. I've worked with more than a handful of excellent trainers, and Tessa outshines them all. The difference? Her compassion for and understanding of dogs matches that of her human clients. Tessa's impact on not only our dog Una's life but our own life is unmeasurable. Due to Una's fear based reactivity we're unable to have friends and family over to our home, unable to console or calm her during moments of distress, and our dog walks left us all in emotional ruin. We came to Tessa in desperation and she took us in. She taught us numerous skills, techniques, games that helped Una view the world as a little bit less scary of a place. Tessa taught us how to watch and understand the signs our dog was giving to us so we could step in before, during, and after moments of overwhelm. Tessa rocks. Working on a broad spectrum of skills with my new rescue and Tessa has been a tremendous help in breaking down the steps to each new skill. Ashley is a wonderfully attentive and professional dog boarder. The space she has for the dogs she cares for is AMAZING!! She genuinely cares and even shared videos and pics with us to alleviate our apprehension with having our Lexi go to a new place. I would highly recommend Ashley without hesitation.
Ashley is an absolute superstar. Our puppies love being with her. She treats them as if they were her own dogs. They are always cared for and any issue that may come up is always handled immediately. The puppies get picked up every week and get dropped off at the end of their stay. It’s beyond convenient, and super affordable. We could not ask for a better dog walker. We love Ashley, but more importantly, our babies love her too. We cannot recommend her enough!

Ashley and her team care of the dogs and treat them like their own and I am always updated on her progress. Myas confidence and social skills have skyrocketed. They have a customer for life.
Absolutely the best place for your K9-kids! Ashley is truly passionate about what she does and it is clear that this was something lifelong. This is an amazing place for my dog to go socialize and burn some energy! As a puppy, she was attacked on a walk by a larger dog and we were worried it would take a lot of time and patience for her to adjust to being with other dogs in a productive setting. The team at Dizzy’s was so amazing, giving us tips on how to work on the issue outside of day care, and being conscientious of the situation while my dog was there. As a puppy, and a working breed, she has boundless energy, and we all feel better after a day of her getting to run around with other dogs. Since starting care she has become better at listening to commands and knowing when it is play time and when it is work time. The price is more than fair for the value we’ve received!!
Dizzy's is great! The place has been a godsend for my family's very energetic 1 year old pup. Our doggie has fallen in love with the staff, is desperate to get out to the door to them every morning and comes home exhausted every night. I could not recommend Dizzy's more highly!
My dog Waffles started at Dizzy's at 6 months.I always felt although he was a little guy he was so happy going to see all his friends! He would go in bark to let everyone know he was there! The staff is caring and wonderful! This is a clean well led daycare! Waffles misses you all!
Our 2 year old lab mix pup, Biscuit, attends a weekly play group at Dizzys and we have also used the pet care staff for at home pet care. The setting for the day care is clean with plenty of room inside and out for loads of exercise. We can check in on our pup during her playgroup with pictures posted on their FB page each day. Biscuit is obviously happy to greet the staff when we arrive and usually falls asleep on the way home. There are celebrations, holidays and parties offered with doggie games and activities provided. When the yard is wet Biscuit gets cleaned up before pick up and now a full pet spa service is offered on site by a well known pet groomer. My communication with the owner and staff at Dizzys Doggie Daycare is professional in person and always responded to in a timely manner via email. The service is excellent, the staff are flexible for pick up and drop off within in their hours of operation and the payment packages are a very good value. We are happy to have Dizzys Doggie Daycare in our area!
A very excellent place where dogs are able to release their energy during the day and enjoy their time there. Any pet parent should feel at ease knowing their furry friend has a safe place to play during the day. The owner is very attentive and caring. If you are looking for a doggie daycare this is the place to go!
Been bringing my dog there weekly for over three years. Staff is amazing and prices are great. They take great pride in caring for my Charlie and he is always so so excited to go there, I can’t open the door fast enough when I drop him off. They even do events! Can’t say enough good things about them!
We’ve been with Dizzy Pets since the day we brought Petey home from the shelter over 4 years ago! We’ve used the daycare, daily walks and dog sitting services when we go on vacation. We’ve had nothing but great experiences with Jayme and her dedicated team. Petey has a blast every week at daycare.
Jayme, Josh and numerous members of their qualified staff have been coming to our house for years to exercise our dogs when we're not around. I'm sure we are among Jayme and Josh's most demanding clients. Through no fault of our own we are a pain in the rear end. We have three dogs that all have their individual personalities and requirements. We live out in the middle of nowhere on the way to nothing. We need Jayme and Josh's help often, but not on a regular schedule. Dizzy's service really has been top notch. There is the potential for LOTS to go wrong in this business and thanks to Jayme and Josh's positive attitude, professional practices, ambition to make their business a success and overall kind, concerned and conscientious energy we are VERY satisfied customers and will gladly recommend them to anyone.

He gets so excited to see the staff when we’re dropping him off and they kindly send us updates about his antics during his stays. We’re so so happy we found a spot we can feel good about leaving our boy at! Highly highly recommend!
The staff was very accommodating and worked with us for a late drop off the evening before we went on vacation. While we were away, I emailed to check in on my pups. It was one of my dogs first time in a kennel. The staff responded very quickly giving me an update on how they were doing, especially the first timer. When we picked up on pups the staff member that returned our dogs was very familiar our pups. They took the time to share our pups habits and routines while they were there. One thing I immediately noticed when I got them into the car was that my pups didn’t smell of kennel (as had happened in past instances at other kennels). I will be bringing my dogs back! Loved the place.
There is no comparison anywhere in at least a 30 mile radius. They treat you like family and your dogs like their own. Our dogs leap with joy when we drop them off — and they live a pretty decent life at home! 😘 …

I boarded my Doberman at Wag Inn while I was at a family wedding. It was his first time boarding and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Lena was fantastic. He had a cozy room inside, the facility was warm, they sent me updates and pictures and took him outside to play. I requested he didn’t have exposure to other dogs and they were so accommodating of that. He still got plenty of exercise and attention, and they even scatter fed his dinner like I asked. They were also mindful of his training and handled my rambunctious adolescent Doberman perfectly. I would give 10 stars if I could! I don’t live in the area, but may travel in the future just to board him here if needed. Thank you so much for taking care of him and keeping me at ease!

My dog always has a good time when she goes to Wag Inn! She stayed there for 9 nights while I was on vacation and the staff was responsive in providing me updates on how she was doing and providing pictures. Love that the dogs get a little hotel room! Will be taking Phoebe back again and recommend to anyone in the area looking to board their dog.

Life Savers! We were stranded in the city and it was pouring rain at home. I texted with an emergency and they immediately went to my house and picked up my dog in the pouring rain and let her sleep over. Nice people all around!

Stephanie and Maggie are absolutely incredible. We have Coop, a 4 year old cat, and Jax, a 1 year old pitbull/boxer mix. We trust Stephanie and Maggie so much that they have a key to our apartment and drop in to watch Coop while we travel. Stephanie and Maggie pick Jax up for daycare a few times a week and he absolutely loves it. He has so much fun with his friends and he comes home exhausted which is wonderful for us :) They even drop him off and put him in his crate so we don't have to worry about it. I've recommended Stephanie and Maggie to many people. We are so, so thrilled with them and very thankful for their flexibility and love they have for our animals while we're gone! I highly recommend.

We’ve been using Beacon Petsitting for almost a year, and I can’t begin to tell you how grateful we are to have them in our lives. They are kind, professional, and reliable, and have become part of our family. Beacon Petsitting is the place we call when we’re headed out of town. They provide reliably great care for our pup, Carmen. They are excellent communicators and have been more than willing to accommodate our crazy travel schedules. Can’t recommend them enough.
We made three appointments with Stephanie to come and meet our cat before we went away. She didn't show up for any of them, and didn't call or text with an explanation as to why. Why would we use her services? She might forget the cat. We don't recommend her. Only gave a star cause they wouldn't let me post otherwise.
