During the stay, she was responsive and took good care of our dogs. When we arrived home, the house was tidy, bedding and towels laundered, and all was in order. We had a very good first experience with Taylor.
Effie and her husband Michael were great Pet/Housesitters. Communication ahead of time was excellent, they arrived on time, kept us informed during their stay, follow our instructions, and left our place and Pet very clean and happy. We would be happy to have them again.

I recently spent almost a week at Carolyn's house near Tebay. Communication with Carolyn was excellent both before and during the sit. I particularly appreciated the prompt replies to my texts during the sit as one of the hens became ill which was rather worrying as I hadn't had any experience with hens, apart from feeding them on a couple of previous sits. Fortunately, the next-door neighbour was also very helpful and knowledgeable as he keeps hens himself. Carolyn does say in her post that the cats are timid - that turned out to be very true as they spent most of the time in one of the sheds. Mo did race past me to get into the house a couple of evenings but I didn't see her after that. At least the hens were always up for a chat! The house is lovely and idyllically situated in the countryside. There are walks right from the gate, or so many places to visit within easy driving in the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. All in all, this is a highly recommended sit, with or without cat company, and I am looking forward to my return visit in October.
